Hi and welcome to the #decktheyear collab. Thanks for sharing your wonderful card and the process. Your card is beautiful. I have added your name to the list in the description of the deck the year.
No fall temps here...but the decor is out in the stores...so I am starting to get it on my mind! Your project turned out great! PS your nails look great!
Our fair is in the middle of Sept, we haven't been in years but used to go every year. We talk about going each year but that's as far as we get, haha! Having a food truck at the fair sounds like so much work! I love how your tag turned out. I think it's a great idea to add embellishments later when you know where the tag is going!
Adorable! 😍 My ex used to set up booth at fairs and festivals. Wow was that so much work.😮💨I went a couple times to help him, and then decided it just wasn’t worth it 😂 . We talked about a food truck as well, making some African dishes that his mom taught me. But it was just way too much expense and overhead. And like you said, you are there without breaks for at least 12 hours a day. Sometimes more And if he would go to a festival that was a couple days, he would bring his sleeping bag, put up canvas around his whole booth and just sleep right there in the booth. I don’t think people understand how truly difficult that is. Anyway, this card turned out so pretty. I love those longer flashcards. Hope you are enjoying your garlic and honey chicken-I am drooling over here. 😂 Hugs ❤️🤗
@@Freespiritarts he is from Senegal. yassa poulet, mafe (my fav), chebu jen (love it, but was never able to make it as good as his mom) soupou kanja (my daughters fav), lakh, puff-puff. I believe meat pies are Nigerian ❤️❤️
Enjoyed watching you layer. I think you do very well at layering my dear. Pretty! Those big flash cards are fun too!
