    I can't believe you didn't mention the 3d printed transfer assembly transmission plugs on their etsy site. Those are an instant buy for me. Worst part of doing a 6 speed torque converter is dealing with those things leaking everywhere! Awesome find. Gonna go broke buying this stuff.

    I've had oil filters on so tight, and in a weird location, that the only thing that could remove them is a filter strap. Crushed the filter, but it works. Oh, and the dealer did the last oil change!
    The oil filter diverter is a great idea - time to get one.
    The Launch can do a lot, but the interface has some real annoyances. For example, on newer Honda models if you auto select PIDs, such as for the engine, there are more than 200 and the device will only display the first 200. Also, PID scrolling is paged, which is clunky. It's also a real annoyance as if you want to select some PIDs to graph, you can only choose PIDs from the current page. I've emailed Launch about this and they don't even reply. Sad, because it's probably a super easy fix.
    That ball joint separator has too small of a jaw width for a lot of Honda ball joints on control arms or tie rod ends. It's only something like 22mm, and it should be 32mm. The narrower jaw width can be difficult to get on and will likely destroy the dust boot if you're planning to preserve the ball joint. If you're replacing then then the smaller unit can work if you pound it on and don't care about wrecking the dust seal. Amazon sells 32mm separators.
    Do you use spark plug sockets with rubber inside (to hold onto the plug) or ones that are magnetized?
    And what's the grease you use on door hinges? Is it the lithium grease, or some other grease?

    • @BCautosolutions
      @BCautosolutions  3 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for your detailed comment.
      Launch constantly has updates so hopefully something they address eventually.
      Yes they are various ball joint separators and honestly a few of them would be ideal but we will get there.
      I actually take the rubber out of the sockets and just use a magnet or the coils themselves to bring up the plugs.
      On the door hinges and door checks I use silicone paste.
