I lost myself in trying to please others. It wasn't into my time in the wilderness that I placed my phone down. I still find myself in isolation with God during this pandemic the more I get intimate with God the more sane I become. Today, this is for me. I went through a journey and had to grieve that which once was and was no more. Especially when I had pivot from stage during covid right after releasing my book. I had to trust God and His promises no matter who sees .

This is by far the best interview I’ve ever watched - hearing her share about her willingness to go away with God, alone, to ask questions of God and of herself without fear of what the answers may be, and that she did not bring her answer and resentment with her - she brought peace.
The most people on social media (all platforms) are women, and black women in particular. And so when I think of cancel culture (which I hate and think is stupid) I think, who is doing the cancelling? Other than the industry that the person is in (which even they take their cue from social media) I think it is women (and black women most often) cancelling each other just for being human. While I may not agree with one's choices I am not here to be God in their lives. I am no judge. The fact that I am an imperfect human, it disqualifies me of rending judgement on another imperfect human!!

Miss your music and can relate to growing up in church. My father was a pastor and we spent a lot of time in church and it stuck with me. It wasn't till later in life when I was baptized in the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tounges. My friends church was having early morning prayer and I would get up at 6am and go pray everyday and one day I started to speak in other tounges.
This blessed me!!! I’m a 43 year old women and I say, “If that makes sense” often…I know that comes from my childhood…. I know that God is genuinely freeing me! Thank you ladies so much!!! Chrisette Michele has always been my favorite artist. I’ve NEVER considered canceling her….. Her songs speaks to my soul. She’s the reason I was bold enough to cut my hair in 2014. I knew cutting my hair would disappoint many; however, after seeing her November 30th, 2013, at the Orpheum Theater, in Memphis, TN gave me a sense of peace about it! 🧘🏽

I REALLY enjoyed this interview. I truly see the Lord in her relationship and God’s wisdom displayed as she spoke. Based on her testimony and upbringing God snatched Chrisette up as a child. There is a scripture that says No Man can pluck us out of God’s hand (John 10:28-30). I believe that scripture offers Protection from those who lack understanding and revelation of what God is doing in our lives and his ultimate end goal. As much as men will try to look at, evaluate and assess what they agree w/or don’t about us, I’m so glad that God ALONE is the Righteous, Impartial, and unbiased Judge (I Peter 1:17). We should want that as believers, we should want the excellence of God’s wisdom, abundance of compassion, unflawed perspective, everlasting mercy and understanding of God as he looks upon us, our hearts, our past and even our futures. Miss your music and can relate to growing up in church. My father was a pastor and we spent a lot of time in church and it stuck with me. It wasn't till later in life when I was baptized in the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tounges. My friends church was having early morning prayer and I would get up at 6am and go pray everyday and one day I started to speak in other tounges.

When you pray for others, you are automatically praying for yourself as well. So, her leading the prayer, whatever they would have poured into her is already transferred.

I REALLY enjoyed this interview. I truly see the Lord in her relationship and God’s wisdom displayed as she spoke. Based on her testimony and upbringing God snatched Chrisette up as a child. There is a scripture that says No Man can pluck us out of God’s hand (John 10:28-30). I believe that scripture offers Protection from those who lack understanding and revelation of what God is doing in our lives and his ultimate end goal. As much as men will try to look at, evaluate and assess what they agree w/or don’t about us, I’m so glad that God ALONE is the Righteous, Impartial, and unbiased Judge (I Peter 1:17). We should want that as believers, we should want the excellence of God’s wisdom, abundance of compassion, unflawed perspective, everlasting mercy and understanding of God as he looks upon us, our hearts, our past and even our futures. The word says our times are in God’s hands, NOT in man’s (Thank God for that 🙌🏾) I enjoyed this content and this beautiful vessel of the Lord!! Keep doing what y’all doing Same Room!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Love Christette and her life. Love how Spirit can use us no matter how other people feel or think. I believe Spirit is being allowed to be vast, phenomenal, brilliant, unapologetic, beaming, authentic through people like Christette. I can believe that God has been held hostage for so long by Christians and their way of doing "christian business" that someone like Christette is breathtaking. God is so much bigger than that leather bible that we treasure. God is so much bigger and vast.
