One of the coolest homebrew subclasses I've seen was the Scar Seeker Barbarian by Arcadum. Essentially you trade in the normal barbarian rage resistances for vulnerabilities but you get bonus damage based on how much damage you take. It's all about high risk high reward. A home brew subclasses that has been clinking around my mind is fighter that has a focus in dual-wielding and has the theme of a Viking. Called the Marauder It would have a mini rage equivalent, a feature called whirling dervish, which would cause all enemies with the range of the fighter to be hit by their attack, an improved dual-wielded feat, where the fighter could dual-wield even more weapons, maybe having the ability to specifically dual-wield pikes or halberds. And as there last feature, they would either get an improvement to their mini-rage or dervish or having the ability to spread that mini-rage to allies, in a call to battle or infectious call to pillage.
Fighter subclasses are often purposely flexible exception being the arcane archer which was a mess for no reason, and I don't see a reason why this cant be a barbarian subclass.

Renegade is really interesting, true, but it needs some clarification and little changes for it to be playable. My fixes: 1. Introduce guns as actual weapons - with price, damage, properties, and everything. As they are now, they are just abilities that you can always use no matter if you have the weapon with you or not. It also prevents you from using your weapons on any type of attack other than on your turn. And, it still wouldn't count as an Attack action, so some abilities may not work. *And,* you can't get any magical guns, and magical weapons are necessary for a high-lvl fighter to keep up. Though I think that basic firearms, as they are in DMG, would work fine. 1d10 damage may seem too much for some, but without it pistols would be just worse Hand Crossbows. 2. Change the wording of Gunslinger Form: Pistoleer - you can ignore the loading property of pistols; Sniper - Starting at 5th lvl, if you take the Attack action on your turn to make a single attack with Musket, your attack deals 1d12 (Musket's damage in DMG is 1d12) extra damage. Extra damage increases to 3d12 at lvl 11 and 5d12 at lvl 20. Also, when you fire a musket, you can ignore the disadvantage from shooting at the weapon's long range. 3. Change the wording of Weapon of Choice, with added conditions for upgrading your guns from normal to, well, upgraded. Also, some other fixes I would make: - Cunning Shot should just ignore resistance to non-magical damage, not all the resistances and immunities. Maybe with some additional benefit on top of it. - Abilities should scale from Dexterity, not Charisma. - Double-Barrel should decrease the damage for each shot by halving the number of damage dice (1d12 on 5th lvl, 2d12 on 11th lvl, 3d12 on 20th lvl) - Some Weapon Upgrades, such as Collateral Damage and Barrage, should get some damage scaling. - Trial By Fire should be reworked to be equally effective for Pistols and Rifles, and also not as OP compared to other major upgrades, especially Double Up, which should be buffed.

@@NerdImmersion thank you
Idk path of the depths seems stronger then most of these other sub classes. Combine it with a fathomless warlock and get ready for some tentacles.
Clearly you forgot about/weren't made aware of the "Anime Swordsman" The number 1 rated homebrew subclass on D&D Beyond's homebrew subclass page (992 total upvotes, not just a meme subclass too)
Ooo, I'll have to check it out
is there any links for the Renegade Fighter? or perhaps a google drive link for ppl to download?
Links in description, just scroll down.
@@andrewdiaz3529 there is no link beside the renegade on the list...

Keep up the good work.
Links to these subclasses are missing in the description.
...no they're not...scroll down
I clicked because of the Eldridge horror in the corner
I kind of just want to send you a link to all 26 of my homebrew subclasses.
Some of these are pretty cool. Others not so much.
Is there a place where i can get the runterra stuff?
What about the throw it back paladin
So 90% 3.5 remakes and the rest just dms guild supplements from 2016 including one you don’t actually like as you remade it?
Nothing from third party books, no Studio AGATE, no 2cg, kobold press?
Love you channel
Rip to renegade in any of the campaigns I'm in. When we went into min maxing for it, it came out as balanced as league of legend rn. You can apparently do like 1k a round if u min max enough
Yeah, the double shot with the rifle is broken to hell and back.
Would actually want to see how you did that for... research purpose
@@The_Yukki ik purple worm poison on the bullets was involved
Would you really eat cheese made from the flesh of your enemies? XD
I am disappointed the Path of Depths Barbarian or Zealot (?) Cleric (MtG Fire Cleric) didn't make the list
Should check out (maybe do a video on) the savant class by Reddit user laserllama. I recently discovered it and I’m in love. Definitely gunna follow and see where it ends up. Gunna play test a sleuth in an upcoming game too.
It’s an intelligence based no spellcasting class. Based around analyzing and outsmarting your opponents while supporting your friends.
Is it a full level 1-20 class? That'llikely be a future video
@@NerdImmersion yep it’s a full level 1-20 making it’s rounds on Reddit. Has a few subclasses, the archeologist, the sleuth, the naturalist, the field medic, the orator, and the tactician. And a few patreon exclusive like the occultist and the battle engineer in the works.
The most updated version I believe is version 3.5.1
@@philipbenoit7345 If I am not mistaking, in previous version the orator was called the philosopher and gave Arcane and Religion expertise instead of the Persuasion and Deception and was more around debuffing ennemis than a mix between buff allies and debuff ennemis
@@christianquenan1358 yes you’re correct. The patreon exclusive subclass the occultist. Gives arcana and religion now. And a ritual spell book. It is more of a John Constantine type character.
@@philipbenoit7345 super interesting! I hope I can take look one day ^^
No Pugilist? Surprised...
Publish is a class, not a subclass
Lets go!
Have you seen the community revisions for your favorite (because some stuff is quite powerful)? I personally like Monkey's version: www.reddit.com/r/UnearthedArcana/comments/kob6zf/dark_tides_of_bilgewater_rebalanced_the_fantastic/
These revisions don't do anything about the real problem: your guns aren't actually guns but just something you can do.
The alien mage is cool, but he will attract inquistors, mage killers and knights of the chalice...tell the PC who plays this tell them upfront the cons of playing that character
Cool
As much as the Runterra subclasses had interesting ideas and Renegade was better gunslinger then Matt Mercer's Gunslinger, their writing was hot garbage fire, completely disconnected from 5e's rules.
Renegade felt like Artificer + Fighter, Gunslinger... I have no idea what going on.
Cool, I can play a Damire take the Alienist subclass and be a DnD 5e. version of the Makavian from VTM. Noice. :)
For the algorithm
Huh, I thought Way of the Living Weapon would be here, alright then
