Bit of an update for this: Thank you everyone for all of your suggestions, I have taken in the feedback and changed some things around, especially for 3rd phase. The main feedback was that I wasn't using facet of courage, which buffs light abilities (my golden gun), so I have changed where that goes in the rotation to utilise that now. Since this video I have improved my rotation further and am able to hit about 300k more damage on both first and second phases, as well as 700k on the 3rd phase (whilst still saving heavy, super, my abilities and a still hunt goldy for final). To me, this is good enough to start running attempts, which I'll be doing on my twitch channel if you wanna check that out!

A couple of ideas: - If Witness takes jolt damage, it could be worth considering jolting with voltshot by switching your heavy weapon (so you don't lose Still Hunt super) on 1st and 2nd phase - I know they fixed the Knucklehead Radar swap, but maybe you could sneak in a Foetracer swap to hit 4x solar/void weapon boost

I looked at how your transit roll compares to a 'perfect' one. If you had hard launch and did a spike nades swap after filling the envious mag, it would act as roughly a 3% damage buff to the GL portion of your damage. (which you can do as part of the loadout swap) Testing (done on VOW Savathun) 50 blast radius frags : 9100+31722 45 blast radius spike : 10690+31344
This is 100% correct - if getting to final becomes more feasible I would most likely look into using someone elses account with the cascade/envious swap instead of rolling for a 0.06% chance of getting this exact roll lmfao - especially considering I got over 200 edge transits during into the light and this was the only one I got with envious+bns
Has Radiant Dance Machine for Final ever been tested? It would require a bit of RNG and a well-timed ammo collection as well as a Cascade + B&S GL to make up for the time loss due to swap + RDM activation: 1) You need to top off ammo while in the third damage phase (Special + Heavy) with the correct loadout (preferably with RDM in it mid third damage phase to avoid time loss to activate RDM). 2) You leave one add on either right of left alive and ready to be one-shotted by a single sneeze 3) As soon as the Witness enter final stand (there are a couple of seconds of animation to proc Final), you jump off the damage plate, dodge within 15m the one-shot enemy, kill the fella and proc the 11 seconds of infinite dodge time window (which should cover both reload interations for final). 4) 2xSniper (1xGoldy Shot + Normal) --> Cascade Active --> Primary Shot --> empty the Cascade GL with B&S --> Activate dodge-reload 5) 2xSniper (Normal shots) --> Cascade Active while B&S still active --> Empty the Cascade GL with B&S --> Activate dodge-reload 6) 2xSniper (Normal shots) --> Cascade Active but no B&S (no time to re-proc it ?!) -->Pray and Spray it's enough In all your Final Standing attempts i saw you proc'ed B&S with envious maxed out. No idea if the damage and time would be enough though.
Its so sad that you actually (almost) need the shiny roll with Envious/Cascade + Bait. That's the Snazzy difference right there. It's gonna be hard to compete with him. That has to be the tightest damage phase ever, but you just proved the concept! I'm rooting for both of you!
idk about getting to final yet (if they change the -5 then this guy will get rolled) but: During damage phases 1 and 2, you could swap to the gl at the start to build because the primary slot is barely being touched. So the rotation could be something like how you do now but once you golden pop transcendence then still your current still hunt rotation. Once transcendence runs out pop a lost signal (with auto loading, and high ground), then continue with still hunt apex. Some notes though if lost signal can't build transcendence before you run out of still hunt ammo (because you would need to swap back to a shoot to loot for still hunt), then this rotation is cooked.
One thing I’ve heard is that due to the geometry of the chest hitbox explosive weapons end up with around a 10% damage penalty due to RNG on damage values. You can see this with Oryx’s chest hole, sorry if this isn’t the best explanation but Aegis’ recent video talks about this. It honestly might just end up being RNG on the damage sometimes.
The 5% is directly referring to non-final stand damage, final stand is perfectly doable without transcendence and it is too good at keeping buff/debuff uptime during 3rd phase. I did think about generating transcendence for final using the stasis witherhoard GL but yeah I don't think that is a very good plan because you will lose debuff/radiant for the second half of 3rd phase.
Only things I can think of is the obvious cascade bns roll on the shiny edge transit. But has unravelimg been tried? You would be potentially giving up the smoke grenade debuff but you would still have your void nade. Then you save a red bar enemy off the side for final, use your strand melee to proc unraveling rounds with the fragment, and unravel witness before your normal rotation? Just a thought.
itd probably be super RNG but if you had heavy bricks down you could shoot to loot pickup for final stand and instead of envious bns use cascade bns and switch to dragons shadow so your radiant dodge reloads idk might still not be fast enough

Couldn't you technically use knucklehead for a bit during the third phase? You could switch mid transcendence pop and it would be a decent bit of extra damage. During final, you could also swap to knucklehead as you pop celestial and then shoot, so you get the extra damage buff to make final a bit easier maybe? You could potential even wait until the last second to pop it for maximum buff on the shot, but that might be suboptimal in terms of animation timings and stuff.
Honestly the placement of the loadouts start mattering, The few milliseconds you save by clicking the loadout closer to center might add 1 more second of DPS
reload dodge with the aspect that gives radiant on melee hits instead and use a cascade point bns gl instead? then you can use heavy on third dps phase and cascade point with reload dodge might be enough for final stand?
just an idea, you can shoot a load of grenades up into the air to get "hang time", they almost perfectly hit him if you aim completely up from the back of the plate, so when u are 3rd dmg and reach final stand, unload the first mag from edge up into the air while he is immune and they should hit him right when final stand starts and you can simultaneously shoot edge again after a reload, grenades have enough travel time and will land on his chest if right angled, so 2for1 hit him like this for fun while bein g last man standing on an lfg in final
We tried this for hours and couldn't get it consistent since the boss moves SO MUCH during damage If you could find a lineup/timings that make this consistent, it could potentially make final better and also introduce some ides for normal phases

Honestly change where you loadout slot is to make it quicker to change over, this is great and doable just need timings to be down to near perfect Yes change where the loadout your changing to is and you’ll have it it’s taking you half a second to go down to the right loadout which is causing it not to be fast enough
What if 2nd to 3rd phase if you have a separate loadout with spesh finders and fini then swap to supremacy/new raid sniper with bait or chill + bait. And then send 3rd to final without heavy. Not sure if math adds up, but maybe something else along this lines?
The issue is I don't think there exists a special kinetic weapon in the game that out DPSes just spamming still hunt, which is why the shoot to loot kinetic makes the most sense. I could be wrong though I am trying some kinetic options right now but it's not looking good tbh,
the 1-1.5mil I refer to in the video is talking about normal phases in which I use transcendence in all 3 phases already - but yes this damage buff is huge

Idea! Use an Edge with multiple perks, being Envious BnS, with Cascade as well in the 3rd column maybe? Only issue is no surge matching, so maybe if you could find a Solar GL that does this too
Could foetracer or any other way of getting to T4 damage boost be enough? You will have to save your melee to get it, so setting up a loadout with a void nade to weaken for goldy will be required, but it might make a difference
Expending abyss is a 10% for final when edging him, ik it doesnt really help overall but it should make the final stand a bit less tight if youre willing to swap artifact mods on the fly
Foetracer is a simple idea. You can also try a dot option like the new gl or even just something that hits harder than your current primary cause 1.5 mil isn’t too much to knock off seeing as the majority of it comes from the edge transit
Unfortunately the new GL DOT does not work on this boss, but I agree even the smallest amount of DOT would potentially make up the 1 mil over 3 45 second damage phases. Unravel also doesn't reproc on the boss so I'm not sure what other good DOT we have
@@BogOnMyDogaside from witherhoard, not much can really help. There are two options, After shooting still hunt, you swap to either foetracer or keep on knucklehead, and swap to witherhoard. If you go the foetracer route, you can do a 3-4 split on surges. I would have to test witherhoard on this boss but that could be the difference. If knucklehead, then obviously just go on 3x void.
my idea: consists of wait for another craftening to happen and you've got your chance, just kidding, but there is a perk in the artifact that boosts damage for each super that's different from yours, i forgot exactly what damage but I'm sure its definitely profitable for you for the different types of damage your doing
idk if you do but what is with the fragment (courage for 10%)that gives you goldie bonus dmg when he is debuffed by darkness? either shuriken or duskfield. I dont know the setup you use currently
are any of the raid mods worth it? and is a bipod recon apex better then the one you used in this clip? and have you tried knuckle head radar when you do your loadout swap after your goldy that should get it ez?
Anyway to implement a dmg over time weapon like a legendary witherhoard shot (the one from this season) or kinetic tremors supremacy at the start of every rotation. U would have to find a way to get shoot to loot tho. Otherwise maybe more raid mods (idk if some give a dmg boost) keep up the grind mate
is it possibly worth running duskfield/withering blade for the goldie damage buff against darkness debuffed targets fragment? maybe adds like 200k and it would mean u lose out on one of the two sources of weaken but that fragment is some possible extra dmg if you can make it work
This isn’t a reliable strat, but maybe could you try farming some purple bricks and get much more ammo for damage phases using shoot to loot mid damage phase?
Was the switch to the trace for slice and darkness debuff for the Goldie? I was watching stream and dipped while you were trying skynet shots with the GL.
to be 100% honest the time where you cleared final doesnt really matter its not realistic you got the 1/100 1/200 from what ive found as a longer final stand notice how instead of statnding up and wiping you he stood up then shot his hands at you, that extends the phase about 8 seconds so bery unrealistic
I wonder if Tether plus Seasonal mod for more dmg from void specs to void debuffs and swapping a melee to a Withering Blade for an additional freeze to reload a gl, and having a cascade point on instead of envious would make more dps. So like instead of Goldie + sniper + envious dumping You do Tether + sniper GG with normal shot after + cascade point 8 shots mag dump, nade shuriken somewhere inbetween to reload a GL and continue shooting it. Not sure if the dps would be any better tho, gotta try.
Tether only provides an increase of 13% extra damage over a normal weaken debuff (which I have up for the entirety of final stand), which would not make up for the loss of 750k flat damage from GG unfortunately :(
@BogOnMyDog Yeah, the overall idea was in cascade plus fascet of command, that might give a lot more dps but than you're lacking on weaken. A hard thing to keep weaken, freeze somehow and do a cascade.
It might be worth trying to do a lumina swap before you start final stand or a damage phase. You could start the phase with 10 seconds of a 10% stronger damage buff, although I’m not 100% sure if you can lumina yourself without a teammate. A field prep sniper with baseline high reserves could be used to minimize loss of ammo on still hunt. Alternative if you want a really out there solution, the neomuna sniper Volta Bracket is a strand sniper that rolls with cascade point and envious, which is something stupid worth maybe thinking about. Kinetic tremors on Supremacy could also be worth looking into as a swap. The raid sniper can roll with chill clip and triple tap, which maybe could be used for a facet of command reload? Idk if that would even be useful. I’ve heard rumors of Goldie chunking if you hit when an existing animation finishes, maybe that could be looked into more. The stupidest idea I have by far is using an attrition orbs weapon to stockpile orbs for final stand on the main plate, and then using those orbs to regenerate still hunt’s super insanely quickly. Other than these crackpot theories, idk what else you could try. But best of luck to you.
Funnily enough a lot of these ideas are ones I have thought of / are still considering. I will 1000% try the chill clip sniper if I can get one, as it may allow for a still hunt reload. Thank you for all the suggestions either way, I'll let you know if any of them end up cooking
677k I think is the normal goldie with debuff+radiant, 745 is with facet of courage, and 824k is a mysterious number than I have no idea why I get it but im happy it happens when it does lmfao
does still hunt work like golden gun where after you proc it with nighthawk, if you swap off nighthawk it'll still have the same effect, if so then you can swap your loadouts during the animation for goldy which would save you a bit of time, but any help is help nonetheless.
I think if you used transcendence at the very start of dps you might get it back by the end doing this, but you lose shoot to loot which is pretty crucial. Something to think about though for sure.
Is it viable for you to take of facet of protection and run something like ruin? Dunno how much damage stasis shatters end up being but you get a few thanks to transcendence, and youre not trading off any damage for it just dr Youve been pumping though so i dont know if theres anything i can think of that you havent probably tried already
OK MIGHT SOUND DUMBB BUTTTT, envious assasin bait and switch with the abilty to switch to cascade poitn, bc then u will get through some of the ammo quicker meaning you could use still hunt instead of goldy , allowing u to use goldy in 3rd making third easier bc u cant use heavy in third
facet of courage does, adds about 70k per golden gun so 140k over first two phases (can't use GG on 3rd since you need to save for final). This is a good start but we still need a lot more.
For tracer is a 25% weapon buff that doesn't stack with surges, knucklehead is on average a 25% weapon buff that stacks with surges so no unfortunately not during final.
Would the very small impact damage boost from spike nades not increase damage? Or are you running mini frags for the full envious mag? Perhaps a Cataphract with Envious + Cascade might be better?
While you can try to stay as close to witness as possible while transit in general like really at the edge(if no attacks there)? minimize travel time cuz that few shots could be the difference of hitting shots into immunity

I just tested lost signal on the boss and the tick damage does not seems to work :( Great ideas though
the main factor is the swaping time in the loudouts. If you just had an extra second or two, you might be able to do it

Would saving Transcendance for the final stand rather than during phase 3 meaningfully shift that 5% over to where it counts the most?

Unravel is a great idea but unfortunately doesn't refresh itself on this boss

Expending abyss is a 10% for final when edging him, ik it doesnt really help overall but it should make the final stand a bit less tight if youre willing to swap artifact mods on the fly

Foetracer is a simple idea. You can also try a dot option like the new gl or even just something that hits harder than your current primary cause 1.5 mil isn’t too much to knock off seeing as the majority of it comes from the edge transit
Unfortunately the new GL DOT does not work on this boss, but I agree even the smallest amount of DOT would potentially make up the 1 mil over 3 45 second damage phases. Unravel also doesn't reproc on the boss so I'm not sure what other good DOT we have

There are two options,
After shooting still hunt, you swap to either foetracer or keep on knucklehead, and swap to witherhoard.
If you go the foetracer route, you can do a 3-4 split on surges. I would have to test witherhoard on this boss but that could be the difference.
If knucklehead, then obviously just go on 3x void.
could knucklehead swap at final be enough to push the damage after pre popping goldie
before final stand if you have time you could switch to solar surge x3 for a little more still hunt damage. make it a easier clear by a bit

none of the raid mods increase damage
bipod has lower total damage than explosive light

Anyway to implement a dmg over time weapon like a legendary witherhoard shot (the one from this season) or kinetic tremors supremacy at the start of every rotation. U would have to find a way to get shoot to loot tho. Otherwise maybe more raid mods (idk if some give a dmg boost) keep up the grind mate
Unfortunately both kinetic tremors and the legendary wither hoard just don't work at all on this boss (this game is very well made)

is it possibly worth running duskfield/withering blade for the goldie damage buff against darkness debuffed targets fragment? maybe adds like 200k and it would mean u lose out on one of the two sources of weaken but that fragment is some possible extra dmg if you can make it work

This isn’t a reliable strat, but maybe could you try farming some purple bricks and get much more ammo for damage phases using shoot to loot mid damage phase?
This would be reliable, the issue being that just shooting the boss with still hunt would be higher dps than shooting bricks and dumping heavy

You have to be lucky with ammo drops so you can use heavy in each phase.
to be 100% honest the time where you cleared final doesnt really matter its not realistic you got the 1/100 1/200 from what ive found as a longer final stand notice how instead of statnding up and wiping you he stood up then shot his hands at you, that extends the phase about 8 seconds so bery unrealistic
I wonder if Tether plus Seasonal mod for more dmg from void specs to void debuffs and swapping a melee to a Withering Blade for an additional freeze to reload a gl, and having a cascade point on instead of envious would make more dps.
So like instead of Goldie + sniper + envious dumping
You do Tether + sniper GG with normal shot after + cascade point 8 shots mag dump, nade shuriken somewhere inbetween to reload a GL and continue shooting it. Not sure if the dps would be any better tho, gotta try.
Tether only provides an increase of 13% extra damage over a normal weaken debuff (which I have up for the entirety of final stand), which would not make up for the loss of 750k flat damage from GG unfortunately :(
@BogOnMyDog Yeah, the overall idea was in cascade plus fascet of command, that might give a lot more dps but than you're lacking on weaken. A hard thing to keep weaken, freeze somehow and do a cascade.

It might be worth trying to do a lumina swap before you start final stand or a damage phase. You could start the phase with 10 seconds of a 10% stronger damage buff, although I’m not 100% sure if you can lumina yourself without a teammate. A field prep sniper with baseline high reserves could be used to minimize loss of ammo on still hunt.
Alternative if you want a really out there solution, the neomuna sniper Volta Bracket is a strand sniper that rolls with cascade point and envious, which is something stupid worth maybe thinking about. Kinetic tremors on Supremacy could also be worth looking into as a swap.
The raid sniper can roll with chill clip and triple tap, which maybe could be used for a facet of command reload? Idk if that would even be useful.
I’ve heard rumors of Goldie chunking if you hit when an existing animation finishes, maybe that could be looked into more.
The stupidest idea I have by far is using an attrition orbs weapon to stockpile orbs for final stand on the main plate, and then using those orbs to regenerate still hunt’s super insanely quickly.
Other than these crackpot theories, idk what else you could try. But best of luck to you.
Funnily enough a lot of these ideas are ones I have thought of / are still considering. I will 1000% try the chill clip sniper if I can get one, as it may allow for a still hunt reload. Thank you for all the suggestions either way, I'll let you know if any of them end up cooking

I probably would have actually cleared on my 2 runs where I softlocked, but additionally may have softlocked on multiple of the less close runs

It would be optimal to have both mini frags and spike, but 200+ edge transits I only got a single envious+BnS so yeah unlucky I guess.

677k I think is the normal goldie with debuff+radiant, 745 is with facet of courage, and 824k is a mysterious number than I have no idea why I get it but im happy it happens when it does lmfao
would it be possible to do lucky pants + wardens law and nighthawk loadout swaps when necessary?

does still hunt work like golden gun where after you proc it with nighthawk, if you swap off nighthawk it'll still have the same effect, if so then you can swap your loadouts during the animation for goldy which would save you a bit of time, but any help is help nonetheless.
Ik final stand isn't necessarly what is holding us back but it still looks extremely tight so anything to make it less tight is good.
Unfortunately the still hunt goldy disappears if you swap off nighthawk, otherwise doing this for final would make it a lot less stressful for sure

whit the new seasonal special GL you charge the dark bar of transcendence very quickly, maybe if you can use 2 transcendence is 1 dmg phase is doable
I think if you used transcendence at the very start of dps you might get it back by the end doing this, but you lose shoot to loot which is pretty crucial. Something to think about though for sure.

I have integrated this but it only buffs goldy so it only adds 150-200k extra damage over all 3 phases
Is it viable for you to take of facet of protection and run something like ruin? Dunno how much damage stasis shatters end up being but you get a few thanks to transcendence, and youre not trading off any damage for it just dr

Transcendence nades don't shatter witness unless I use more nades than I need to, but I might look into this at some point anyway

If there was a good way to do this yes, unfortunately you need the nade to debuff the boss so you can't use the fragment.

after you shoot still hunt and celestial, you could switch to radiant dance machines for dodges
We need to test sticky for sure but I have been told that it doesn't work

facet of courage does, adds about 70k per golden gun so 140k over first two phases (can't use GG on 3rd since you need to save for final). This is a good start but we still need a lot more.

For tracer is a 25% weapon buff that doesn't stack with surges, knucklehead is on average a 25% weapon buff that stacks with surges so no unfortunately not during final.

Would the very small impact damage boost from spike nades not increase damage? Or are you running mini frags for the full envious mag? Perhaps a Cataphract with Envious + Cascade might be better?
While you can try to stay as close to witness as possible while transit in general like really at the edge(if no attacks there)? minimize travel time cuz that few shots could be the difference of hitting shots into immunity
