Hey guys. Nice day out in crystal river. Just did a video there myself. Mostly lady fish. They were heavy in the river. I'm going to try around the springs too next time. My son and I went to view manatee a few weeks ago. Under water footage showed a huge school of snook and a tarpon up in the main spring of CR.
    Just subscribed to your channel.
    Tight lines.... cool video

Thanks for watching the video and subscribing! I’d love to see that under water footage with the tarpon and snook. I remember snorkeling near three sister springs years ago and seeing some big snook back there!

great video, crystal river is my one of my favorite areas that I can make a day trip to, the bite can be tough in the winter, and of course wind really sucks, tight lines

Thanks Michael! Crystal river is a great area to go fishing in the winter time with the spring fed water and warmer temps. Definitely one of my go to areas when I want a switch up from catching reds and trouts in the creeks. And when the wind is blowing like it was in this video 😂

Love the video. I have never fished the areas near the springs, but I definitely will when it’s cold and windy now. Just getting to the area as we are building a home there right now!

Thank you! I definitely recommend fishing around there this time of the year. All kinds of fish push back in there to get to warner water. Hope you get on some fish there soon!

Great job Josh. What part of the river is that? You don't have to give the exact area of course, but general location.

Thanks Stephen! It was on the canals that’s near where the river and kings bay meet. Right where the no wake zone begins if you’re coming in from the river. Hope that helps!

Haha...a little repeat on the video.
We've all done that before starting out. Are you guys from CR?
You ever fish outside Yankee town?

Not from CR but primarily fish that coast. I’ll fish anywhere from Ozello to Steinhatchee, just depends on the weather and what I want to catch that day.
