my idea will be much more grounded. instead of 5 stages, each group defined by state. first is land group, which is the day stage, and mostly consists of ground only units. second is toxic group, which is the night stage, and mostly consists of mushrooms units. third is aqua group, which is the pool stage, and mostly consists of water dealing threat. forth is dark group, which is the fog stage, and mostly consists of low visibility threat. fifth is high group, which is the roof stage, consists of out of range threat. and lastly is super group, which is consists of special plant units that dealing with big threats. and the imitator as standalone unit since it can imitating anything. and all my pvz1 plants unit will be: land group -peashooter: a pistol man, one shot at a time -sunflower: a medic, heals wounded unit one at a time -cherry bomb: demolitionist, an explosive maniac -wall-nut: shield guard, can hold bunch of zombies alone -potato mine: mine specialist, tasked to planting mines for defense -snow pea: ice caster, shooting snow ball to freeze enemy -chomper: an berserk, with massive bear trap fist will kill anyone infront of it -repeater: an smg guard, same with peashooter, but shoot peas in burst toxic group -puff shroom: needler, unit that will shoot toxic needle at enemy -sun shroom: toxic medic, specialized for toxic unit -fume-shroom: catastoxic, toxic fume thrower that will disintegrate the enemy -grave digger: grave miner, digging underground to kill its enemy. -hypno shroom: manipulator, an weird hippie with ability to twist its enemy mind with its toxic to work for it. -scaredy shroom: a coward sharpshooter, able to shoot toxic needle at long range. -ice shroom: frostman, will throw ice bomb at its enemy -doom shroom: atomist, will nuke its enemy aqua group -lily pad: transporter, staff worker on floating platform on water -squash: fighter, an grumpy old mma fighter that will dunk on its enemy -threepeater: shotgunner, shooting spread peas -tangle: deep water hunter, an unit that can handle deep water preassure and will drag down its enemy to the bottom -jalapeno: flamer, a flamethrower guy -spikeweed: spiker, will stab anyone who fell to their trap -torchwood: support, additioning incendiary ammunition for the peashooter -tall nut: heavy guard, wall nut but heavier, and can punch back much harder dark group -sea shroom: diver guard, an underwater unit that will guard the water -plantern: lighter, emitting light to show the area -cactus: marker, deadly marksman that can even take down air unit -blover: air cleaner, sweep the enemy air unit -split pea: dual wielder, dual wielding its gun so it can shoot front and back -star fruit: sentry, unit that can cast shuriken to 5 ways -pumpkin: protector, helping its allies by guarding around them -magnet shroom: magneto, can drag metal from the enemy making them defenseless high group -cabbage pult: baller, an projectile thrower that accurately hit its target -pot: planter, making an temporary place for high group unit to work -kernel pult: buster, throwing projectile same as cabbage pult, but able to do its second ability of throwing big butter to stun its enemy -coffe bean: waker, its job is to helping toxic group to work on its non battle condition -garlic: stinker, so stinky it cause the enemy to find a way around, and possibly choke enemy to death -umbrella leaf: anti air, covering the sky so no air enemy unit that will come and attack -marigold: collector, nothing usefull, just collecting loots of dead enemy of their money -melon pult: heavy baller, throw a big projectile that have AOE super group -gatling pea: machine gunner, unit with heavy machine gun -twin sunflower: twin angel, able to heal multiple allies -gloom shroom: toxic incarnate, able to making toxic on air by just his mere presence -cat tail: auto striker, shooting controlled needle that will homing onto enemy -ice melon: frost heavy baller, same with melon pult but able to cause freezing effect -magnet gold: money catcher, same with magnet shroom but instead of metal its money -spikerock: metal spiker, same with spikeweed but even deadlier spike punch -cob cannon: artillery, long range artillery unit the only one -imitator: mimic, a pantomim that can mimic any unit and do their job
This got recommended to me when my interest in Plants vs. Zombies which I thought I left back in 2016 came flying right back to me through PvZ2 mods (and the Shop Fusion collab segment), my now anime obsessed brain cannot 100% with the game I used to play back in 2010 getting the animefication beam. (great art btw! My faves are Snow Pea, Lily Pad, Plantern, Magnet Shroom, Sea Shroom, Doom Shroom and Hypno Shroom!)
I need Magnet Shroom so bad BUT THESE ARE ALL SO GOOD I LOVE THE TINY DETAILS WITH ALL OF THEM, especially the hair ties usually connecting to the leaves on the plants, that’s so cute!!

You could've made her into a rich girl wearing a diamond/pearl necklace, having a bunch of costly rings on her fingers, ruby earrings etc Ice shooter: You could've made him into a chill character like gojo, wearing cool sunglasses, drinking a glass of cocktail with Ice cubes in it Umbrella leaf: I like the one you made, but she could've been better if she was holding an actual umbrella and smiling But still, great work, the characters are awesome... At first it was a game of eeny meeny (all plants were equally cute) but I liked it for real over the years. And yes her design here is FANtastic. Eh? Ehhhh?
Could be cool if the badges on the plants shirt, sweater, or jacket would be some kind of rank food being the highest and lawn/day being the lowest and the upgrade plants being like the admirals from one piece

I was drew an anime humanized version of pikmins and for some reason the red and earth pikmins seem to have a jacket similar to peashooter when i intended to draw based on military jackets and outdoor jackets

I’m gonna be real I’d be too worried for my friends the plants to even fight the zombies. I mean they risking their life for me when the zombies only want my brain, plus I have no idea if getting bitten by a zombie would one of them turn or if they just get gruesomely eaten alive, I was bad at the other levels of PVZ man.

I want to be friends with Sunflower, Potato Mine(I honestly don't know why, I just want friend), Snow Pea, Grave Buster, Hypnoshroom, Doom Shroom, Lilypad(Literally purely because stay hydrated), Plantern and Marigold. They are very friend to me.
I would ask you to do all PvZ2’s plants, but I doubt you can ever do that, there’s just too many plants in that one and PvZ2 is still being updated despite being very old so there could end up being more plants added if you even did try to make them. I don’t want you to burn out trying that.
I like all the design except that twin pea shooter it looks unproportion maybe you could put him at the back side or like a brother giving a piggy back (in my suggestion). If you make a series this could really turned into anime. And nice animation by the way, 👍😎 I tried that too and it's really hard to animate all the movements using a phone
