I do think it's important for people to speak up about sexually inappropriate behavior, but I also wonder if some people aren't overly sensitive and scream sexual harassment/assault at even the most innocent things? It's really sad, but it's gotten to the point that you fear paying someone a genuine compliment because it could be deemed sexually inappropriate when your intention was anything other than. I don't even compliment other women on what they have on or their general appearance even if it is nice because you just don't know when it could come back and bite you in the butt...

Like a while back Adam Sandler touched Claire Foy’s knee on the Graham Norton show and she went to put her hand on it just when he moved it so he put it back. It was awkward cuz he moved when she tried to grab his hand so she made a face and people took it to mean she was uncomfortable, but it was nothing. He touches everyone’s knee in interviews, it’s just a habit. He did it to both Dustin Hoffman and Judd Apatow but because it was a woman that time people blew it out of proportion😒 even after Claire Foy said it was nothing people still thought it was something.
