That's the costume BUT not the microphone. I watched over and over the "Radio Gaga" live video, and the mic he used was wireless, which this is not. Idk if is possible to use this very same mic in wireless mode, but otherwise this isn't the one.

I know the yellow jacket was bought at an auction years back by a private collector and kept in his collection, but now it is on display in Montreux. Did the MPT get it back? Is it going to be a part of permanent display in Queen Studio Experience or is it shown only temporarily there?
Dear, i think it was temporarily exposed. I then went back to the studios and the memorabilia had been moved.

And my big 'thank you' for uploading this video and showing the jacket to us - I think I saw it only when Freddie wore it, but never anywhere else after his passing. It looks beautiful and even more so from up-close. I wish I ever had the opportunity to see it live like you did.

Fu venduto ad un anonimo collezionista Russo nei primi anni 90.
Questo non esclude che questa giacca esposta sia originale ed indossata da Freddie in altre occasioni.
Magari il pacco l ha preso il collezionista russo,
Magari non l ha avuta ne lui ne la mostra,
Magari è quella prestata alla mostra dal collezionista....
Fatto sta che fossi in un familiare quel pezzo non avrebbe prezzo e sarebbe un capitale in esponenziale crescita di valore,
Quindi probabilmente è un pezzo originale e sicuramente indossato ma fornito solamente per una rapida concessione,
Particolare che avvalora la tesi del pezzo inestimabile.

@@ivona_s9612 the year below refers to the microphone and to a dress put in that case before this. in fact if you see well the microphone is not a radio microphone, like the one on the magic tour.
@@NicValens the one that used to be there is Freddie's green & red bodysuit, so why they did not change the year on the bottom to 1986. if this one is original too? I know that this outfit was sold to a private collector. And they removed Freddie's white outfit from the Rainbow '74.

It's not about believing, it's about knowing. The original yellow jacket is in private property since 2002. It's never been seen in public since then. It's (sadly) a replica in Montreux. And not a very good one. It looks NOTHING like the original.@@NicValens

Freddies jacket was NOT leather. It was a canvas/cotton material that was far lighter and less restrictive than this fake piece of crap. He also used a wireless, not his traditional Shure mic at Wembley. This is pure fake.
We have already covered this topic: the jacket you see is not leather at all, and the microphone, as the writing on the glass case reports, is not part of the memorabilia of the magic tour, but of previous tours. Before commenting read the comments of those who came before you 😉
