Great video. I have an aerator for saltwater spots and because it is really hot outside, I got an insulated bait bucket. Also I use an Igloo plastic ice block.
I have both the Bubble Box and the Promar AC-710 . Both are good, however there is a noticeable edge with the Promar AND it uses only one D battery + the Promar has a better sealing syastem
Dang, that other company u just totally called out is definitely shaking their fist In the air! Screaming, "we've been exposed!!! Noooooooo! Bastard!!" Lol....nah but great presentation of how people get fooled by these companies because of their brand and know consumers will automatically think their product is the best because of the reputation the name/brand has for another product. So they feel going forward, they can half ass everything they come up with because its going to sell regardless because WE, made it. : ) I'm just running my mouth. Lol In this case I know absolutely nothing about these products. I found a bubble box in the trash n was curious about it. But still, that expensive box doesn't have shit on the cheaper one. Smh what a shame.
Why not put the hose through a hole near the TOP of the bucket, where leakage is not a concern, and hot glue it to the INSIDE of the bucket to keep it from hanging up on stuff in your boat and to keep it out of the way of your minnow net? The money that you spent on the unnecessary check valve could have been used to buy a flat aquarium stone to glue to the bottom of your bucket and you will be amazed at the bubbles they produce with that Bubble Box. Hope this helps.
Those small stone are horrible and produce 70% less bubbles then the big round marine bubbler I got. The hose doesn't hand up on anything when outside. People can make it anyway they want and depends on their bucket and lid design. Just the way I did it
Great ideas. I'm glad I went with the Bubble Box. Just curious though, how long to you run the aerator? And, does it chew up batteries pretty quick? Thanks.
On a brand new bubble box aerator I test ran it for a bout 6 days and was able to run it for about two days straight with no battery change. The aerator didn't last long though after I ran it 6 days straight.
Also, shoot whoever threw it away, apparently didn't know what they had. "Another man's trash....." Great video! I would put a little thumbs up emoji but I dunno where the heck they went lol
@@benb6801 Doubt it, I got one as a gift (not working) and reason why is all the terminals are rusty, I would just use another smaller bucket for water or just remove the bubble box.
Good video. Your setup answered a few questions for me about the bubble box. Thank you

Good idea. I just connect a sinker to the hose, right by the stone
Respectable rigging!!

Very helpful video thank you.

Been years since I made that so don't even remember how long it runs. Probably be nice to get 12v model and wire into the boat

Great product review 🇺🇸💪🏼
I’d always choose marine metal over Frabill for my aerator. They are much better at pumping air and last longer. Nice hacks on the bucket
What’s the name of the tube and size my bubble box came without one..
Hush bubbles is awesome and it is super quiet u can hardly hear it
Frabill should be embarrassed to put out a product like that. That should be free with any Frabill purchase. Nice review.
I bet the frabill motor going bad or cinnection .I've saw that same one and it produces crazy bubbles...
Was brand new with new batteries
Check your frabill air pump might have issue with it, my frabill air pump makes more bubbles than metal marine bubbles
manintoy manintoy thanks for the response. Ya maybe there is something wrong with it seeing as it produces minimal bubbles
Did you use a regular hot glue gun to glue the hose ? If you did, it won’t melt the hose ?
i think your frabill has a diaphragm problem ,, ive seen same prob with aquarium aerators , possible hole or crack
Great video bro 10/10
This is to everybody...do you run the aerator 24/7 when storing them for the next fishing trip? Is it possible of to much oxygen?
You won't get too much oxygen and when we get back yo where there is power we save the batteries and switch to a 110v aerator in a cooler
Also, shoot whoever threw it away, apparently didn't know what they had. "Another man's trash....." Great video! I would put a little thumbs up emoji but I dunno where the heck they went lol
Turn the black knob you get more bubbles
Very creative bro.
Where did you buy your check valve?
Pet store in aquarium section
Thank You
Is the bubble box water proof? so if I wanted to Dunk my bucket into the sea to grab some water
EliteCanadian how do you do that?

good job!
Thanks, man.
This guy loves hot glue 👍😍
Dennis Bettencourt it works...lol
Buy a decent air stone. The one you are using is junk!!

Yes just regular hot glue and won't melt silicone. Possible melt plastic hose but plastic kinks anyways so I used silicone tubing
