Fantastic video! Please do more Gilmour! You are one of the few online tutors who notices all of the little details that make DG's playing so special. Well done.
Mate, thanks for this video, super informative. I am finding the way you are describing and vocalising the phrases is very helpful in understanding what’s going on. Just stumbled on the video so will sub and check out your other videos. Cheers
Evening Mike! Been sitting on the bed with the guitar for about 45 minutes (just before seeing this video) and pretty much playing in this same position you’re playing now...😔Just realised I don’t sound anything like Mr Gilmour! You are 100% correct! That man is so unique (in his playing. The rest of us play cliched 1,4,5 boxes where Dave finds the music! Damn you Gilmour 👍🇦🇺

You are very good! Thank you
Molto bello ed utile , grazie Mike !!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a great analysis of every phrase! Micro analysis for microtonal playing. Very skillfully done (and done on the fly!) Cheers
Great guided practice of a true living legend. Ty
Did enjoy it! Really enjoy these practices!

Nobody can sound like Dave Gilmour. The best of the best (whatever that means LOL).
Nice job disassembling it.
Thank you Mike!!! I am big fan of yours here in Brazil. Let me pay you some beers, make a barbecue and jam when you come to Brazil!!!! Cheers😊
lo-fi are the best videos.
Don’t forget,
it was a hit by The Montgolfier Brothers in 1999.
In fact, the version by Romany Gilmour is, in my view, the best version. Absolutely brilliant.
Yea the Romany David version is superior in every way. Just amazing
Hello, Thank you for the lesson. What are the notes that you played to echo the harp part? Cheers, Malcolm

Yes I’ll do that .. it’s been on the list for a while! 🔥🎸
