Interesting. I live in Wyoming, along the Idaho border, where the oldest roads are a little over a century old.
An artifact from an early explorer was found on my property, and it was two centuries old, and is now in a local museum.
It is fascinating to learn about roads that date back to before the fourth century A D.

Thanks for the comment Rob. I was raised on the Canadian prairies and the oldest road there was along the Red River. An ox track from the beginning of the 19th century. Exploring England gave me a real sense of history.

That's amazing that a _whole_ village was once there and now it's just a field! 😮
How interesting, the windmill being rebuilt and as a residence. I think living in a windmill or a lighthouse would be so awesome.
