Dear Scape...I'm probably of the minority here, but ever since I started playing this game, I searched high and low for some decent content creators, and to be fair...I've found quite a few that are more than decent, including you, who I follow more than others...my only gripe is that most of the gameplay I see are cc's with high end mechs, weapons and implants, with 11k or higher hangar power...hard to get any relative intel for my ftp, lowly hangar...heh.. So, I am really grateful for your F2P Battle Log gameplay which is more down to earth and more realistic for lower players just grinding it out ftp or casual coiners to follow...absolutely invaluable. Much appreciated and hoping you keep it coming and sustain this low to mid range gameplay...take it easy and thank you again. God Bless....
Hey thanks for telling me! the hard part for most CCs and higher players is that you cant downgrade anything. So once you get high enough, its hard to do anything in lower ranks. That (along with the gear hub needs itself) was the reason I did this series in the first place. And based on the response, I dont think you are entirely in the minority. I am not an amazing player or have spectacular gameplay here, but I at least hope it helps people progress and is entertaining. Ultimately just glad it helps people.
FINALLY!!!!! I found a guy that makes videos without having everything at max, that sucks! Thanks!!! I can finally have a REAL idea of what can i do with that mech, the only problem is, i like cheetah too and i cant have both hahahahha. Thanks dude, keep making real videos
Really good that you could hold onto the spot and get eclipse, you were very lucky but this also is due to entering late. Also even though the supposed nerf to redeemer did hit it hard, redeemer is still a really strong mech, especially in that tier. Missile racks is probably the weapon you have that you can use with him. You could also try disc launcher 8s but it can be better on other mechs like eclipse, once you upgrade him enough. Also Redeemer ability perks get better as you upgrade him so, that is also something to consider, on how long he will be in your hangar, when you choose a weapon for him
Yea Im debating on whether to upgrade epic stuff in general. Since my goal is to push through all the tiers, I may just skip most until I hit the end then see if I want to keep a couple. Redeemer is still a solid mech though as you said.
After some experience I think that the best way to use the missile racks are at a close range or on a really slow target cause it will be easier to hit peoples.
I think it would be best to keep missile racks on Redeemer and use Guardian with disc launchers to avenge your mech (if it gets killed) or just to make a comeback with it. It just depends on your choice and playstyle. It is interesting (and most definitely awesome) to get Eclipse at this level but I would rather prefer it later with 6 star rating. Anyways, good luck in the battlefield!
Agreed with the 2v2 maps. Way too crowded, especially with domes covering the map. I dominate with em's on redeemer. Backtrack delay is a pain, but I don't mind the em delay. You can line up, stay behind cover until you're about to shoot then pop out with minimal exposure. Max damage and even use the Backtrack to line up next kill rather than save your butt. Need a lot of resources to upgrade my discs and everything else. :p was lucky enough to get eclipse in event too, but not getting many blueprints (of course) have a 12 arc on him at present because I get owed with that setup in battle. He may replace redeemer with em's once he gets some meat on his bones? Love your content as always. Keep it up. :)

oh did you get the disruptor 8? if so, then its not like you got entirely shafted. Just focused on a different item. Still a solid weapon. Best of luck on the ember gun!
As soon as I unlocked Redeemer, it was instant love. I've been using him as my primary mech for months now, I am still baffled by how underrated he is and how rare it is to meet other Redeemers in the arena. Armed with Disc Launchers he does so much damage, so efficiently - unlike all other combo's I've used. But my playstyle is a bit more aggressive than yours, I run into situations where many mechs are gathered and to the damage and back track out of there quickly.
U can do it , depends on how u r with it . Cause u know how the ability works and if u know how to use it , then go for it . For me I might invest in Eclipse first and then after doing it , I might go to Redeemer , it's an awesome mech to max even after that ability fix
Yes, try Eclipse out and see how it goes! Redeemer does need quite a bit of practice to get used to the timing of the backtrack ability and when to use it. But it's also amazing how, the further you upgrade Redeemer, the more he's able to backtrack out of enemy effects. Anyway, wishing you lots of happy gaming! @@Rudraksh.Pratap
Yea there are times I play him more aggressively but it’s usually with missile racks instead of disc launchers. However, for videos where I want him survive longer, I tend to play a bit more cautious.
do you mean like how you use your implant parts for implant upgrading? I would say no. Not all implants are the same and inflating your SP evenly doesnt always net the best results. However, you also dont want to heavily invest into one and make your potential SP too high as that can also affect your matchmaking. In either case, you likely want to pick the best implants to focus on while leaving others out or at low levels.
Congrats on winning Eclipse. The spenders in my server had 5x as many points as me, so I didn't stand a chance. I don't mind the 5v5 on the 2v2 maps. It makes for some interesting variety, especially since the game's been pushing its new maps so hard. I miss some of the old maps.
Missile Racks are best used with those mechs that can stun enemies so you are surely not missing any shots. Otherwise I dont like MR too because it fires all shots at once and you dont have much of control over that, besides that also reload is pain in the as unless u have rl good implant.
Nice Video. I use Redeemer and Eclipse and i like them both. For me Eclipse is better than Redeemer. I tested many Combination with them. Eclipse DL and Redeemer Helix or MR is my setup.
Don't know about you, but these 5v5 on 2v2 arenas just pull me back, then I was new to the game. So much thrill and excitement. But of course, with every game especially nowadays, the further you go, the more dull it feels. Until the moment you reach the top of progression and just play from time to time unlocking brand new stuff
Sorry I couldnt tell by your wording - do you like the 5v5s on 2v2 maps? For me its a bit chaotic. Ive never really loved like 2 arches for instance and these maps can feel a little like that. But each experience varies depending on the player.
I think I well probably spend resources on eclipse and wait for surge and those will go in the hangar for speed. Redeemer is one I plan to cycle out eventually or use less. Hes a great mech, but not one I personally play a ton of. I can understand why people do though. Hes a great example of a mech thats not required, but fits certain playstyles to have top tier potential.

@@Cauliflower4life no it shouldnt, stalker doesnt do direct ability dmg, it passively increases weapon dmg. thats why the predator drive dmg implant exists.
Facts, and also, just because I see it all the time for some reason: ability duration does NOT WORK on Guardian. All Guardian does is reset weapon reload and ability, it has no actual duration.
Did Redeemer got nerfed? I've heard some ppl say that he takes dmg while backtracking so I wonder is that truth? Also what about ability delay, does he have delay or not?
He does have a delay to his ability. When he first came out, the delay was in his stats, but it wasnt present and he was pretty OP imo. So it was more so a bug. I think some people have mentioned him getting damage during backtrack, but I havent personally experienced it. If you or they can provide more details, I can relay it if we see a pattern. As new weapons get added, some may somehow get through.

It depends on your hangar and goals. I think DL12 is more important, but may not have immediate value depending on what you can put on it. But thats probably the way I lean personally.
Aegis is who I would go for. You may also need to get more or finish other objectives if you goal is seeker. Its going to be tough to get i think. But im going to try as well!
I need a step by step guid on how he is able to progress this fast free to play and where he gets all the resources etc. Yes he previously replied to me about it but I need a video showing it. Also which mechs to unlock in what order and which weapons and what I should upgrade and what not. I am free to play and playing for about 2 months now and I have yet to get even shadow. Well I have bought arc 6 missile rack 6 rocket mortar 8(wasted) and have a slingshot, gaurdian, arese, archnos and puma build
The gear hub videos I have show my order or purchase. Beyond that, it’s largely the day to day, specific events, and some degree of luck that helps me progress. Truthfully this game requires daily sign in and enough daily grind to keep you up on resources.

So I try to cover certain points and give you all a rough idea of what I have been doing with these logs, but it doesnt cover all things. I dont play a lot of tourney on this account either. I do sometimes when its connected to events, but even then its few and far between. the dailies and ads do a lot tbh.
well thats how I did it here. I started the playoff 10 hours before it ended. But it varies for player and for the playoff itself. I was lucky this time.
Why theres not one youtuber to adress the popup spam? As voice for the community this needs to be dealt with.. The questions for this 'amazing amount of free acoins' are just for ego campers, no teamplay no tactics mentioned.. was gona buy bastion and rail but this game goes downhill very fast so i rather not 😂
I dont like the popups either, but its common to see in f2p games. I am not sure the best way to address it. All games likely do it as it effeciently increases sales to allow the game to still function as f2p. Curious to hear your suggestions on it though. As for the amazing amount of free acoins - I am not sure what this is in relation to. You might need to explain it further. As for the game going downhill - you are likely correct. All games like this have a shelf life. None last forever. The balance is finding the right line of profitability while maintaining a reasonable gaming experience to allow it to continue and have a playerbase. No games can keep that forever though.
Yo how do you know if its a player or a bot man i dont how you do it but please teach me great vid btw and congrats on buying redeemer but i suggest just posting gameplay of f2p instead of waiting for battlelog because in the later tiers it will take a long time before you get the resources to buy or upgrade things and it will take a long time to post
The f2p battle log is something I have been trying to post weekly. I am a week behind with this one due to all the anniversary content, but thats why I mentioned it in the beginning. As for knowing if they are AI, I have just known the names of AI overtime. However, there are factors that help too: 1 - their behavior. if they just walk straight out in the open and have crazy good accuracy its typically AI. they also weird stuff like walk in circles. especially when capturing beacons. 2 - no clan tags. if you see clan tags on the opening screen or the secondary screen when you hit tab (pc) or tap the top bar (mobile), those are players. 3 - You can get an idea of jut about all the AI names from this post: war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/thread/43440/497-names-wall-bottle-beer its from a WR forum, but this thread holds about 500 AI names to cross reference. Hope that helps!
@@scape211 another one I dont know whether you noticed or not. Some of the mechs (especially 2v2s), after they kill you, they will turn their back towards your spawning points and towarss theirs. Thats so weird and only ever bots do that, not real players at all.
What determines bot difficulty? I'm running into rank 3 mechs while all mine are rank 2, not to mention the twin Longarm and twin Shotgun Paragons kicking my butt.
Its a mixture of factors. We do not know all these factors as its all developers in house, but for most of us, we have realized that things like: win rate, win streak, mech slots unlocked, highest SP mech multiplied by the number of slots unlocked and likely other things. These are the various things I think pertain to the enemy variance.

Until I ran into some top-100 dude bringing a rank 6 killshot and nothing else to tournaments with rank 2 and 3 bots, whose been doing this for a year. What a broken system...
@@fireflywater I ve been rocking 3* shotgun 8 with 3* shadow and it dominates in ffa (like 15 kills) but gets crushed in every other game mode. If you want to actually have fun in ffa i can recommend this combo.
once gear hub arrives im gonna get aegis for "reasons" Update: aegis has been acquired, and... Its doing great! The shield is pretty good, and im able to place it where it won't bother my team, absolutely loving aegis
You know what i had enough with this game , i spent 4 months of gathered a-coins and resources, making 26,000 (1 postion ) and on the last day some players did i don't know what and made 48,000 points . Final results is position 8 Not even 1star eclipse, and same thing with happened with Disruptor 8 and so on . I never got in top 3 no matter how many times i tried. If want to know how you got 1st position even with 4000 and something score ,please share if you know anything that can be done , it's very frustrating 😞😞😭😭.

For many of us we have times we get lucky here and there in game. This just happened to be one of those times I guess.
Diesel wasnt from the leader board. He was in a credit based event crate rush. I originally didnt want to spin at all since it would put me into the leaderboard on the playoff, but I calculated that I could spin twice without hitting the second tier and got him on the second spin. Was very fortunate. After I got redeemer though, I did alot of credits to maintain a spot in the playoff. If you notice at the beginning, I had about 800k credits, and later I had about 250k. I was so shocked when you got eclipse because I’m always against pay to wins on play of events the people I was against for the eclipse event had around 10k points so there was no chance. You have already overtaken my hanger I made my account almost 2 years ago I haven’t played the game core that long I have been on and off with mech arena a lot. Mech arena needs the gear hub.
I got lucky on the playoff and was able to go in with a strategy that I could execute and it worked. Definitely not always the case. The gear hub is absolutely going to change the game for people though.

@@riysahilmy2942 getting legendary implants it......rough. You basically have to get lucky in just about any situation: 1 - get luck on 2 free daily crates. Chances of getting a legedary there are tiny. And there are a ton so you likely wont get one you can use. 2 - they can and will show up in the shop. But again, its not always gonna be the one you want and not all show up there. And they are expensive. 3100 acoins.... 3 - events will sometimes have them or have basic/advanced crates as rewards to possibly get them. But they typically are not easy to complete as thats usually considered a high reward. The BEST way to get the ones you want is sadly to spend. Some offers will drop at times for implants that you can directly buy to get the specific one you want. But that costs real money. I will say personally I have not spent on implants and still have plenty legendary ones even on my main account that I dont have yet. Its really hard to get them and get the ones you want since every release of a new item adds more. Short of spending, you have to rely on luck. The best way beyond spending is to save a chunk of acoins and wait for a good one to show up in the shop. But this means you always need to have like 3k acoins on hand to make sure you get it the day it pops up.

I havent stopped. Just have to wait till I get the next tier to show it. I am still on tier 5 because I am still in tier 5 on this account. Once i get Aegis and one more item, Ill make more. Just takes time.

I prefer 5v5 on the 2v2 maps, but mostly because I really don't like 2v2 period. If MA didn't force me to play 2v2 for events, I would never play it.

Nice Video. I use Redeemer and Eclipse and i like them both. For me Eclipse is better than Redeemer. I tested many Combination with them. Eclipse DL and Redeemer Helix or MR is my setup.

Don't know about you, but these 5v5 on 2v2 arenas just pull me back, then I was new to the game. So much thrill and excitement. But of course, with every game especially nowadays, the further you go, the more dull it feels. Until the moment you reach the top of progression and just play from time to time unlocking brand new stuff
Sorry I couldnt tell by your wording - do you like the 5v5s on 2v2 maps? For me its a bit chaotic. Ive never really loved like 2 arches for instance and these maps can feel a little like that. But each experience varies depending on the player.
Do you think it’s worth ranking redeemer to 6* after they “fixed” the ability? Or better off spending the resources on eclipse or save for rg12?
I think I well probably spend resources on eclipse and wait for surge and those will go in the hangar for speed. Redeemer is one I plan to cycle out eventually or use less. Hes a great mech, but not one I personally play a ton of. I can understand why people do though. Hes a great example of a mech thats not required, but fits certain playstyles to have top tier potential.
i don't think so. i have it at 6* and it works great with a single em16, at10s, and dl12/8 but other mechs definitely work better

Did Redeemer got nerfed? I've heard some ppl say that he takes dmg while backtracking so I wonder is that truth? Also what about ability delay, does he have delay or not?
He does have a delay to his ability. When he first came out, the delay was in his stats, but it wasnt present and he was pretty OP imo. So it was more so a bug.
I think some people have mentioned him getting damage during backtrack, but I havent personally experienced it. If you or they can provide more details, I can relay it if we see a pattern. As new weapons get added, some may somehow get through.

It depends on your hangar and goals. I think DL12 is more important, but may not have immediate value depending on what you can put on it. But thats probably the way I lean personally.

Aegis is who I would go for. You may also need to get more or finish other objectives if you goal is seeker. Its going to be tough to get i think. But im going to try as well!

I need a step by step guid on how he is able to progress this fast free to play and where he gets all the resources etc. Yes he previously replied to me about it but I need a video showing it. Also which mechs to unlock in what order and which weapons and what I should upgrade and what not. I am free to play and playing for about 2 months now and I have yet to get even shadow. Well I have bought arc 6 missile rack 6 rocket mortar 8(wasted) and have a slingshot, gaurdian, arese, archnos and puma build
The gear hub videos I have show my order or purchase. Beyond that, it’s largely the day to day, specific events, and some degree of luck that helps me progress. Truthfully this game requires daily sign in and enough daily grind to keep you up on resources.

I dont play a lot of tourney on this account either. I do sometimes when its connected to events, but even then its few and far between. the dailies and ads do a lot tbh.

I dont like the popups either, but its common to see in f2p games. I am not sure the best way to address it. All games likely do it as it effeciently increases sales to allow the game to still function as f2p. Curious to hear your suggestions on it though.
As for the amazing amount of free acoins - I am not sure what this is in relation to. You might need to explain it further.
As for the game going downhill - you are likely correct. All games like this have a shelf life. None last forever. The balance is finding the right line of profitability while maintaining a reasonable gaming experience to allow it to continue and have a playerbase. No games can keep that forever though.

Yo how do you know if its a player or a bot man i dont how you do it but please teach me great vid btw and congrats on buying redeemer but i suggest just posting gameplay of f2p instead of waiting for battlelog because in the later tiers it will take a long time before you get the resources to buy or upgrade things and it will take a long time to post
The f2p battle log is something I have been trying to post weekly. I am a week behind with this one due to all the anniversary content, but thats why I mentioned it in the beginning.
As for knowing if they are AI, I have just known the names of AI overtime. However, there are factors that help too:
1 - their behavior. if they just walk straight out in the open and have crazy good accuracy its typically AI. they also weird stuff like walk in circles. especially when capturing beacons.
2 - no clan tags. if you see clan tags on the opening screen or the secondary screen when you hit tab (pc) or tap the top bar (mobile), those are players.
3 - You can get an idea of jut about all the AI names from this post: war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/thread/43440/497-names-wall-bottle-beer
its from a WR forum, but this thread holds about 500 AI names to cross reference. Hope that helps!
@@scape211 another one I dont know whether you noticed or not. Some of the mechs (especially 2v2s), after they kill you, they will turn their back towards your spawning points and towarss theirs. Thats so weird and only ever bots do that, not real players at all.

What determines bot difficulty? I'm running into rank 3 mechs while all mine are rank 2, not to mention the twin Longarm and twin Shotgun Paragons kicking my butt.
Its a mixture of factors. We do not know all these factors as its all developers in house, but for most of us, we have realized that things like: win rate, win streak, mech slots unlocked, highest SP mech multiplied by the number of slots unlocked and likely other things. These are the various things I think pertain to the enemy variance.
I will say just start saving for ares and arc torrent.

Until I ran into some top-100 dude bringing a rank 6 killshot and nothing else to tournaments with rank 2 and 3 bots, whose been doing this for a year. What a broken system...

You know what i had enough with this game , i spent 4 months of gathered a-coins and resources, making 26,000 (1 postion ) and on the last day some players did i don't know what and made 48,000 points .
Final results is position 8 Not even 1star eclipse, and same thing with happened with Disruptor 8 and so on .
I never got in top 3 no matter how many times i tried.
If want to know how you got 1st position even with 4000 and something score ,please share if you know anything that can be done , it's very frustrating 😞😞😭😭.
playoffs are tough. Since it puts you in a bracket based on when you start the second tier, you have to determine strategically the best time to start it. For me, it was a mixture:
1 - spun for Diesel twice to get right near the top of the first tier of the playoff.
2 - bought redeemer with 10 hours left on the playoff
3 - spend about 500k credits, played some matches, and bought RM12s to maintain top spot in the playoff.
All in all, it was just the perfect storm to get Eclipse. This is not the norm and not for me either. But I had a strategy going in with the best angle for myself and it worked. Thats not always the case (in fact it often isnt). I have lost many playoffs and lost some I even spent more resources on and stayed up late to try to win. But I was lucky this time. For many of us we have times we get lucky here and there in game. This just happened to be one of those times I guess.

Diesel wasnt from the leader board. He was in a credit based event crate rush. I originally didnt want to spin at all since it would put me into the leaderboard on the playoff, but I calculated that I could spin twice without hitting the second tier and got him on the second spin. Was very fortunate.
After I got redeemer though, I did alot of credits to maintain a spot in the playoff. If you notice at the beginning, I had about 800k credits, and later I had about 250k. I upgraded various things (including my redeemer) to maintain a good spot. I also got some acoins in the fortune vaults so I used that to get RM12s from the tier I am on too. So it was a mixture:

I was so shocked when you got eclipse because I’m always against pay to wins on play of events the people I was against for the eclipse event had around 10k points so there was no chance.
You have already overtaken my hanger I made my account almost 2 years ago I haven’t played the game core that long I have been on and off with mech arena a lot. Mech arena needs the gear hub.
I got lucky on the playoff and was able to go in with a strategy that I could execute and it worked. Definitely not always the case.
The gear hub is absolutely going to change the game for people though.

@@riysahilmy2942 getting legendary implants it......rough. You basically have to get lucky in just about any situation:
1 - get luck on 2 free daily crates. Chances of getting a legedary there are tiny. And there are a ton so you likely wont get one you can use.
2 - they can and will show up in the shop. But again, its not always gonna be the one you want and not all show up there. And they are expensive. 3100 acoins....
3 - events will sometimes have them or have basic/advanced crates as rewards to possibly get them. But they typically are not easy to complete as thats usually considered a high reward.
The BEST way to get the ones you want is sadly to spend. Some offers will drop at times for implants that you can directly buy to get the specific one you want. But that costs real money. I will say personally I have not spent on implants and still have plenty legendary ones even on my main account that I dont have yet. Its really hard to get them and get the ones you want since every release of a new item adds more.
Short of spending, you have to rely on luck. The best way beyond spending is to save a chunk of acoins and wait for a good one to show up in the shop. But this means you always need to have like 3k acoins on hand to make sure you get it the day it pops up.

yea as a f2p game, it will have areas that feel very unfair. Whenever money is used to make someone more powerful or the developers fashion the game to make you want to spend, you will feel areas its unfair. Thats just sadly how the gaming market works.
