This was a pretty bad ranking. In my opinion. If you're still ranking the first two albums as the best albums than you're stuck in your childhood. Not to say they weren't good but he was literally a kid. It was a lot of radio friendly music. Quality music - Yes, but your ears has to mature and adapt with the times. It wasn't just the position you gave them but the star ranking were just terrible. Its like any thing that was created post Rihanna good a low ranking with the expectation of the album that won r&b album of the year. And what you ranked 11:11 is just WILD!
@@devondorr8212thank you it’s no way I’m gonna listen to 42 songs and call it a damn album. 42 songs are not an album. He does it that way to capitalize on streaming
@@KobesoGoated I can understand that but who has the time to listen to that much music in one setting. And actually pay attention to everything. Then come away with the artist vision and what he was trying to say? My issue with Chris brown is not that he can’t make good songs imo he just can’t make great albums anymore fame is the last Chris album that I can listen to with no skips well I also liked x as well. But seeing what Bruno mars did in two albums makes me wonder why Chris can’t do the same thing
It’s because he doesn’t make albums for everyone. He only makes albums for his fans that’s why he has albums with 30 plus songs on them and you can’t blame him. If he made a 15 song album they wouldn’t let him win any awards for it so what’s the point of making them?
I don’t think you can rate albums now a days the same way you rated them back in the day. Stuff changes. Music evolves. You gotta change your rating system a little bit to keep up with todays times
Thank you for this summary. Its really spot on! Chris Brown really does make music for everyone and its more of a playlist with different moods all in one album
@@ETBowser That’s what i’m getting at. He doesn’t care for the awards. He asks his fans how many songs should he put on each album before he puts it out. He only makes the albums specifically for his fans. Not for you reviewers. You think you’re the first person to say he puts too many songs on his albums? @@byabena If he wanted to he could easily put 15 of the best songs out of those 60 and make a great album. But he doesn’t because he care more about what his fans want.
My Chris Brown Album Ranking Favorite To Least Favorite Updated: 1. Chris Brown (2005) 2. Exclusive (2007) 3. 11:11 (2023) 4. Indigo (2019) 5. Breezy (2022) 6. F.A.M.E. (2011) 7. X (2014) 8. Heartbreak On A Full Moon (2017) 9. Royalty (2015) 10. Fortune (2012) 11. Graffiti (2009)
Graffiti is better than fourtune Fourtune was a rehash of Fame but just poor imitation but not knowing what made it great and why it worked at least Graffiti had a original theme chris turning from into a bad boy if the album didn't come out after the rihanna indecent making people think he wasn't sorry because he was too much in a hurry to do music and If it wasn't long no fillers it would have been a hit transform ya crawl and brown skin the standout songs though
Indigo has many many bangers. I love pretty much 30 of those 32 songs, so I dont really agree at all with your judgement of that album. And the special is crazy too.
I like the opinion, definetly CB could "cut better" the songs in his albums but I can´t get mad cause it´s his expression of art, this is what artists do, if he thinks cool, he does. Could you do your Top 15 CB songs? Let us know your favs. Shoot out from Brazil !

I’m dying at the Stan part but to be honest yeah Brown’s discography is mad inconsistent but Heartbreak On A Full Moon and Fourtne are my guilty pleasure albums. Fame should have been number one and X should have been number 3 but I do agree that his first two albums are solid and super slept on. Definitely a talented artist. As a person? No but as an artist, yes and I think people need to start separating the art from the artist. He is mad talented and I still love some of his earlier songs from 05-17. Great video, it was really funny. 😂😂😭😭🤣🤣😆😆
@@timkruse9912I said that he’s talented and love his work from 2005-2017. Y’all are so sensitive. I literally praised him and y’all still get offended. Stans these days man.
When is his talent going to match an album? Being from va and always rooting for CB it pains my heart to say. That Bruno mars might be a better artist than Chris brown
Aight playa you got me thinking and I’ve finally sorted it out. To me Chris browns best album are as follows 😎 Fame It’s got the hits, dope album cuts and is just one hell of an epic comeback album which not many R&B artist can say they’ve had even up to this day really. Debut His debut in my opinion is a definitely a classic album (along with Fame, X and 11:11) This album kinda gave the world the artist we see today with some dope classics like Run it, Yo, Say goodbye, Poppin and ya man ain’t me. 11:11 Not gonna lie I was a little annoyed that he decided to switch his idea of 11 songs to 22. Once I heard the album in its entirety all of my concerns were nothing. This album was exactly what I was waiting on from him. As far as subject matter and maturity goes. Moonlight, angel numbers, stutter, midnight freak, messed up are just some of the gems on this album. Only 3 weak tracks for me on this album are Summer too hot, Red flags and Views. Overall this album in my opinion is the best of his double disc albums and honestly one of the best R&b albums of the 2020s so far. X Definitely one of his more mature albums with hits too match. Only thing is it’s too many songs and not enough of them are good. You do have hits though and dope album cuts. New flame, Fine china, Loyal, Do better and See you around are great songs but then you get weak songs like Body shots, Stereotype and Don’t be gone too long that add nothing to the album and are just out of place. Heartbreak on a full moon I actually liked a lot of these songs and think it’s one of his best. It’s plenty of filler however it’s enough songs to make this album a dope listen. Songs like To my bed, Bite my tongue, roses, Hope you do, Hurt the same, Covered in you and the title track are all examples of some dope cuts. However you do get filler such as Confidence, Sensei and Pills & automobiles which aren’t bad just not my favorite cuts… also the Deluxe version of this album is pretty average only like 3 great tracks. Overall a pretty ambitious project with a massive track list that only he in my opinion could actually pull off out of today’s crop of modern artists. Fortune, Graffiti, Royalty, and Breezy are pretty hit and miss. It seems like with those albums he just threw random songs together honestly. (Indigo it seems like he had had a theme but forgot about it and decided to just throw all the songs he did for it on to an album)
I agree with the list those 4 out of 5 albums are his best albums the 5th spot is tough because 11:11 can be a better album than fortune and u have the impact and influence of heartbreak of the full moon on what it did for other artists to produce longer albums that are classics in their own way then u have breezy most breezy fans they prefer that album over fortune
It may well be the very great last era of R&B Music. Usher, Chris Brown, Ciara are the last people holding the torch. Stan Stenielson sounds like Wizard Kelly from the Proud Family 😆 🤣
Unfocused is the best word I think you can use to describe Chris brown’s entire career. Post exclusive with a few spots here and there(x and F.A.M.E). But other than that my experience listening to Chris brown is extremely irritating
I’d throw fame in there. But it sucks because when we start comparing him to other guys like usher or genuwine. Yes he’s more talented than them but he doesn’t have the body of work that matches his talent. I’d say both genuwine and usher have a classic album. But the closest Chris has ever came maybe his debut or exclusive
