I normally stay away from AI, not only because it feels a bit cheaper than an actual musician or remix that took tons of human hours and expertise, but also because it kind of sucks or has a bunch of mid lyrics, or the worst sounds like every other piece of AI music in that genre. But this actually slaps, I cant stay mad at it. This was a lot of hours of a human sifting and shifting and changing the AIs work, and shows what a person can make in teamwork with AI. Thats the AI future we should aspire to imo

Because of this, I sometimes feel a bit nervous when I see long comments at first, as it can be hard to tell whether they’re criticizing or praising me. You are in alignment with how I look at AI but I judge more gently because I view it as baby AI and this stuff as adult AI. Makes sense the Rockstar sister AI was lurking to keep kids safe with scary AI stories. 😊

I really love this kind of music, and I was really shocked when I found out that it was made by an AI and not a pro songwriter, I was like "daaamn this sounds nice, where is this from... song 1???*looks at comments* OMG its AI, damn"
I’m always amazed myself when I create these tracks. As you mentioned, some of them sound just as polished as if a professional songwriter made them. But there are also plenty of failures-tracks where the pitch is all over the place, completely off-key. I wonder if, in the future, people who compose with AI could become pros themselves? Yes, you’ve explained well the part where many people misunderstand. AI is also a tool created for human convenience, and its effectiveness depends on how it is used by people. I view AI as a tool similar to a knife: its use and impact vary depending on who wields it. Just as a knife can be a chef’s tool or a weapon in the wrong hands, I aim to use this tool to perform my tasks effectively xD
I'm not sure, this kind of AI gives you half baked results you then improve or work on from. There's two types of AI tools for art. The one I completely agree with, it's AI that just speeds up work that you are going to do anyway. For example AI that selects an object in an image. If I'm editing photos and I want to make someone's face a bit brighter, I'm going to create either way a mask onto their face anyway, either I brush it on or AI does it when I point at the face. AI is much faster than manually painting on the mask. Or say rotoscoping something moving in a video (remove everything except the object), I'm going to do it either way, AI just does exactly the thing I want but faster. Then there is generative AI, and it takes away some of your creative influence as it can output many different things you can't control much. Such as asking it for a certain type of song, yes, you can edit it on, but your starting point wasn't your influence, it was a phrase everyone could copy and paste, and the AI outputted one of many possibly fitting results.
Had no reason to doubt it was any different from any playlist. If I hadn't scrolled down the comments abd checked the description I almost never would've knownit was AI. The only sticking point to me were the awkward julps/cuts/transitions. Just a bit abrupt and choppy in places. Other than that, this was a pretty damn good mix.

These typically have songs blend into one another rather than stop and start. You could learn a lot by hearing how they blend one song into the next without losing flow. Also Timestamping the song "breaks" helps with people trying to find particular tracks within a mix.

I have a lot of complicated feelings about AI, but I've never agreed with the take that AI art/music/etc. is poorly made. It is awesome and is just getting _cooler._ The first song especially just _slaps_ and I wouldn't have ever guessed that it was AI-generated. I do feel like the genre is mislabelled, though? This definitely feels closer to the 'rock' side of things than 'glitch'.

Though I'm an old metal head I play with music the only RUclips video I have on me playing with my partner over 10 years ago but I'd really like to recreate this. I have an idea on the base guitar riffs before the lovely clear overlay of the clean guitar riffs which I thinknk will be simpler to make but this is some of my old work. m.ruclips.net/video/3yF1GtSC7l4/видео.html mind you this is 14 years old lol. Or as I've always used delay I think I can make both sets of riffs.
Sorry for the unclear video it's just the last time I actually made i vid my partner uploaded it a long time ago and I don't really upload vids but I have two versions I'm working on at the moment. The one I'm writing and the other is a repeat delay idea to make the sections work together like I am in the vid. Or using one of my oldest tricks for creating layers

this is much more COHERENT than the typical AI music i've heard. Are you using a new toolset? Or did you just intervene a lot to keep it sounding like actual separate songs?

While I do intervene during the process to ensure each track feels distinct and cohesive, I also rely on tools like Suno for generating the music and Filmora for editing.
