About the speaker:
Ustadh Siddiq Shafiq is a graduate of Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Leeds. He has studied various Islamic sciences with Muslim scholars in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the UK.
Ustadh Shafiq has been involved in Dawah for over 20 years and is currently the Head of Education at the British Muslim Heritage Centre in Manchester. He is also the curator of the House of Wisdom, an exhibition dedicated to highlighting the remarkable contributions of Muslim civilization.
He is frequently invited by schools, universities, mosques, and a wide range of government and non-government organisations to deliver lectures, classes, diversity training, and cultural outreach programs.
