Looked into it, the original bobsled track was your fourth Zeep video, and i think your second with Yannic. Your first video with him was just on a bunch of the built in tracks.
your channel found me last week when one of your motorworld hide and seek videos showed up in my suggestions and after watching those from each person’s perspective, I moved on to the scrap mechanic hide and seek videos, and after binge watching all of those, including moons and scraps videos I’ve now moved on to these. I just wanted to say keep up the good work
yknow, i really wish more people understood how hard it is for an indie studio to actually pay their team, especially before they release their first game. unless you have all the skills necessary to make the entire game solo or have a group of trusted friends who can tackle all the different aspects of game development, you have to have a ton of money saved up beforehand just to pay wages until you start earning royalties off something. it seems like you guys get that, which is great, but any time i talk about it people always act like it's MY fault that i cant pay people. hell, even after releasing your first game, the royalties often wont even cover your studio's bills, let alone wages for an entire team. i run a small studio myself, and we used to have plenty of people to work on our projects. but then 2020 happened, and with so many people out of work and getting sick, most of our team had to leave because they just didnt have time for a job that didnt pay them. completely understandable, but now that the world's economy has (mostly) recovered, we've been trying to replace some of the people who left the team. we dont even have a single person with any programming knowledge, which basically leaves us completely screwed until we can either find someone who does, or learn it ourselves. but nobody wants to work for a company that cant pay them right away. so for now, we're just stuck building minecraft servers and SMPs, and making races and other jobs in GTA. all stuff that requires zero knowledge of programming, outside of the little bit of logic and commands you need to make minecraft servers
With the ice version of tracks mentioned all I can think of is the helicopter jump through track with the tree branch in that corner that would destroy you. Imagine trying to avoid it on ice.
As a person who lives close to Calgary, the bobsled track is still there, the cart track you are talking about (It’s called skyline luge) is off to the side, and you don’t run on the old Olympic track. It’s not used much anymore.
The original ice track was the first Zeepkist multiplayer map I ever played on. I couldn't get past the loop. Now I'm older and better. And still can't get past the loop.
07:00 Coming from a person that has built and uploaded over 200 levels, I agree it is time to go back and rebuild or reimagine some of your old tracks!
Instead of an engine, finishing adventure mode should just give you a special limited boost ability, ie just a few manual boosts you could trigger on a run. That way instead of an engine that just works all the time, you would have to plan when the boosts would make sense on the various tracks. Some tracks would not benefit, others, when to do it would be limited but get you first place. Kan's tracks would still be pain, but the boost would help them go by faster ;)
Does Zeepkist use Steam to filter all the network traffic? I could see that adding another whole 100ms on top of what you'd already have to do to add collisions to networked multiplayer. I don't really know what the network structure of Zeepkist is like.
Someone tell the dev he needs micro transactions for car and driver skins, or backgrounds (local only). He has a great game with a large following and the best advertising he could ask for right here on RUclips. He deserves to make more money
How about a mobius strip style track? The player would have to travel both sides before being able to finish. You could use fans to push the carts down on the track
@@irrelevantsafety yep, then got salty af when they found an unintended cheese. Same dude that joyfully spoils others intended cheese. Convinced, hes either mentally a child, or lactose intolerant. (Giving him a way to save face)

You know those dropper maps on like minecraft? You should try and do something like that. Where you try and pick the best spot to drop down without hitting obstacles
Steam's cut, taxes, investments into the game, wanting to have a low-sales period buffer, and of course the Dutch housing crisis all play a part in that
Hahahaha making predictions is easy man, lemme tell you what happens after you've made the prediction: Calculate the result of the collision early. Verify if the prediction was acurate. Check if the player ended in the rightspot. Unnoticably apply rubberband to correct the small mistakes. Comunicate that while you're predicting the next step whithout always being sure of any of the previous steps and possibly needing to think about corrections for those things as well... Yeah, predicting is the easy part...
I'm talented in network coding, but I'm not a guy (sorry), and I also don't work for free (also sorry). Don't hit me up; I'm kind of happy with where I am right now (not sorry). That work-for-free pitch almost got me for a few seconds, but then I remembered, no, I actually do like having money, and I have bills to pay.
I feel like these videos are more like a podcast with the host and guests rather than a zeepkist track video showcase with commentary alongside it
A zeepcast
Which I would love to see more of!
I prefer when there is more banter with more people, 4 participants is ideal.
And I'm here for itA
And its amazing
The awkward "are we live?" killed me 💀. Yannic just too wholesome
Yes 😂
Yannic has such a nice personality, I really wanted to see him playing other types of games, like scrapmecanic and etc...
Yeah, would love to see him join a MPM hide and seak gamea
apparently Kosmo is preparing a Beamng vidéo with Yannic
Heh I enjoyed the racing-turned-interview. Unique is cool.

You’ve been busy. That’s a lot of binging
Had fun watching this. It felt genuine.
Personally I think it'd be cool to edit each other's old tracks.
It was definitely a calmer atmosphere without Dapper and Kosmo. Not saying that with them it's bad it's just a lot more chaotic usually.

Proceeds to put down a 1st place time mere seconds after questioning this

It looks like the ghost leviathan from subnautica 😨😨😨
Agreed
The bobsled track was your third track on RUclips and fourth zeepkist video!
You are correct kan gaming The bobsled track was the first one where you had yunique in with you guys 4:19
love it "are we live?" lol
Love the content keep the great work up
that was so nice!
I'm gonna get this game, for the sole reason of saying "but I don't have a CD drive" as a response to someone telling me to try crest braking

blessed yannic appearance 🙏🙏
The predictive part is necessary for all fast-paced networked games since the speed of light is the same for any game.
Yoooooo
Ghost leviathan track!
Instead of cacti as obstacles, you could have put a sleigh. As if someone left their bobsled on the track.
nostalgia fr
This track reminds me of the classic tron movie

I could never get that last jump on that og track
wasint the bobsled like the first video uniqe was in?
How have you not made enough money from this one game to have your own place?
I'm sure you've made thousands from this game
thousands, but over a period of 5 years

I thought I was safe because the other guys didn't show up, but there I am, sucking in a KAN video

Reminds me a lot of some of the tracks from S.T.U.N. Runner. Anyone know that game?
