I love this song so much, personally for me this song can also be used for someone who’s been in a couple of bad relationships and when they finally meet someone who’s not like their exes and is actually sweet, charming, funny and kind, this is kind of like them saying to themselves “I’m not gonna fall in love so I won’t get hurt again.” This song has so many different meanings to it, that’s what makes it so great.
