My niece, who was editor in chief for the UA yearbook, and fid a special edition for its 100th anniversary interviewed Sela Ward for that edition. I was from Brookhaven and Im sure I saw her on the cheer team when we played Meridian. Mississippi girl. ❤ One of my favorite actors.
Happy for her success, family and home. I'm sure she's a good wife and mother. Happy for her hubby too! Best part, is her meekness. Not a trace of 'how great I am' or 'I deserve that!' 😇 You can see it in her countenance, even in the roles she plays.
I have watched her for years in a lot of roles and what always came through is that she is genuine and I'd bet a really nice person whose parents were very positive influences. She would make a great counterpart as a psychologist that non romantically engages Matt Damon in a Bourne movie to uncover some deep state truth . She'd have to lead pipe a few bad guys and would probably apologize for doing it even though out of necessity.
Just watched the video you referred to. She was pretty back then, as a 19/20 yr old. Too bad she's aged. I hear old women have dry clamshells. It's all a part of menopause. In fact, she's so old now that it's not even menopause, she's post menopausal.
@@drbonesshow1 Yes, quite true. These days, one doesn't know whether the clamshell is genuine or man-made. The newest Miss Netherlands has a man-made one, I kid you not.
@@JacobNightingale Yes, I know more than you might expect (I perform as a singer called Happy - Not Gay). In 2019, I did a so-called LGBT-Q show that kicked off with a song called Hello, I'm Mr. Head. With plenty of heads in the audience, they gave me a standing ovation. Later in the show (in fact my last song) I sang Save Your Pink Taco For Me. Well, the transgenders don't have a Pink Taco so they asked me to leave. The lesson learned with these people: Don't sing about "real" ladies or their body-parts. I also wrote a song called No, I'm Not Gay. Why? Because I'm Happy - Not Gay.
In about 1978 when Bama came to UT in Knoxville, we were dropping water balloons on cars from Alabama from the pedestrian overpass on Cumberland Avenue. The next day, at the Big Game, Although not aiming at him, I threw a naval orange from the stands and smacked Bear Bryant in the shoulders and knocked-of his houndstooth check hat. It seems that he recovered. That night, we ambushed a Kent’s Bread Company 18-wheeled truck that was driving down Cumberland and emptied it of its contents. I threw about 350 pounds of cinnamon rolls at the crowd. What a crazy night. A good night. An Alabama night. To this day, 45 years later, I cannot remember who won the game. It was totally out of control.

Still gorgeous... WHY this woman did not receive more roles in movies remains a mystery to me. She still has the looks and always had the chops.
Gorgeous xo

Like her so much better in FBI than the Garza lady. Just saying.
