2 questions 1st. Does your front end/steering shake at higher speeds- if so what have you done to fix this. 2nd. I'm having issues keeping this same engine on. When I first start the car I put the choke on start and then have to slowly move choke towards run about half way. If I go all the way to run it dies. And when I drive it and hit the throttle all the way it start to get and go and then acts like it's going to die then have to let off throttle so it doesn't die. This whole time I have a ton of white smoke pushing out the exhaust. Maybe flooded the engine idk.

I am wanting to build something with two my two new predator 420 engines, I might find a use for using your idea.. I got my first predator engine at Harbor Freights standard sale price of $249. the second I got from one of their tent parking lot sales for $179. I didn't need another engine, but I couldn't pass up such a deal. I just wish they had better charging coils on them for charging the batteries and running the lights I'm hoping to have. I'll look for your other videos.

No its an older yerf dog kart with no cage on it. Called a spider box. These are my favorite frames to start with. Very easy to modify for good power and awesome suspension. Kinda hard to find though.
Another question Josh, what size chain are you using? Because the sprocket on my torque converter looks like it’s not made for a 420 chain, the teeth are too short and the grooves are a little small??? Can I get a different sprocket that I can put my 420 chain on
Tom Son we didn’t have the light wired yet. We were just going to put a battery behind the seat and wire it to that with a switch. Yes the engine can charge the battery
I would have preferred to see your cart when you made your ride, not the neighborhood. I like your build but seeing it filmed by someone else would have been better. we could see how it looked running and accelerating. (good job overall).

My guess is cause there's no actual rear suspension in it anyways..? better question is why use one of these motors?, do these have some kind of gear box at all?, why not use a pit bike motor with gears?

Go power sports is expensive! Customer service is slacking as well, anytime I have asked them a question I get a half ass lazy answer. You can get the same stuff 20% cheaper elsewhere.

Doing that completely voids the warranty, genius. And if you’re gonna spend the few hundred bucks on the 420cc in the first place and do a proper build as he did, bet your ass he probably shucked out the extra cash on an extended warranty to get a free replacement engine. Besides, did you even SEE the CVT clutch? He gets plenty fast launches when he wants...and it’s not a race kart! My kids have a governed 2 seater Manco with only a Predator 212cc. BUT, also has the Comet CVT (torque converter). It comes out of the hole plenty fast for them and even governed tops out at 40-45. It’s a recreational kart, kid. And if they blow it up in 2-3 years I just drain the fluids out and Harbor Freight gives me a brand new engine.

Dude. I have a cart with a 212cc Predator and a Comet CVT (torque converter). I promise he wasn’t even getting close to all the way into the throttle, governed or not. Otherwise, with mine it’s basically zero to 40-45mph almost all at once with an adult rider. With a 420cc and a CVT?? There’s no telling.

weld washers to your eye bolt and youll have less problems than having a big gapping hole for slack and movement.

When you first got the exhaust and filter hooked up did it Idle high. Because I have the same set up but on a minibike and it idles high.

Not sure on exact size. Should be able to get a chain that matches the sprocket on the torque converter and axle
