What should I do in case the selfie stick does not turn on? I already clicked where the camera icon is located and it does not give a signal of the green/blue light; or what do you recommend me to do?
Charge it for at least 20 min... If it doesn't power up its probably defective
Mine works for the camera and video but in the tik tok app it just turns the volume up instead of starting the video. :/
My remote doesn't take pictures with my Samsung S22 Ultra, but it will increase the zoom. I don't know if it's a problem with compatibility (maybe related to the fact my cell has a stylus?) or if it's a flawed remote. I'll return & buy another one to see if it's a flawed remote. Btw, Vivitar's customer service was not able to provide any troubleshooting suggestions other than to send it to a place in New Jersey & I'd have to pay one-way shipping. Not gonna happen. Will return to store.
Sorry vout the late response... I too had issues with connecting to the s22U. But I did connect it. While in pairing mode continue to hold the button down on the remote then turn on Bluetooth. Should pop up at the bottom of you phone. Hope this helps

I just got this and out of the box I'm disappointed. It doesn't get ground level (i.e) it won't allow you to flip the holder all the way back for ground level photo view.. if you tilt the angle to look down to the ground then you lose the visual of what you're photographing. This should have been a 360 flip and turn . Hate that I bought it. I was hoping for ground level photography.
The mount wont spin on mine. It feels like it needs a lot of force just to spin it and I’m scared it’s gonna snap off lmao

How do you change the battery in the remote?
I figured it out- I used. Razor blade I got one side to release then I rotated it around. If that makes Sense.

Mine won't even turn on. All I did was open it to see if it had the battery when I got it. I didn't drop it or anything. Now it just won't work.
Might need a charge. Takes about 30min to fully charge.

Then its probably defective. If it doesn't power up after holding the button for at least 3 sec.. It most likely doesn't work.

I have tried everything to open the remote to change battery. How the heck does it open?
I had to take a real small screwdriver and pry the halves apart. It's a three volt CR1632 battery. It's so lightweight I figured there was nothing inside and its a scam. I was shocked to find a little board and battery. Tried it with a 3 volt I had lying around and it paired and everything.

They're so damn bright XD how do you use this thing bro? Obviously you're not supposed to look at the LEDs but I can't even look at the camera without getting blinded. Appreciate any response
😂 Yeah they're bright hell but think they're meny to be ues while in selfie stick mod extend cause there's noway you can look right at it without shades
After you turn on one or both lights, you can adjust brightness by pressing each light's on/off button. There's only 2 settings for each light, bright & brighter. The farther away one is from the cell phone, the brighter the light needs to be. Also, darker people/objects should be in front of lighter people/objects.
