The V65 Mustang
That makes it look silly
car looking nice, but the vent looks hourendous
I actually really like the vents. F the haters!
No no no bubble the front and back fenders to the edge
Ben, You make the car exactly the way you want it. You will never please all these keyboard experts out there. Most of us think you are doing a great job!
I`ll Dito that....👍👍👍
Keyboard experts, are you one ?
I completely agree. Don't listen to the few unhappy people out there. The majority of us love this build 👍
AMEN!
Do what makes you happy dude
When you finish this build you should drag race it against Goonsquads chevy Camaro🙏🏽
If the Camaro survives that long. They are being really rough with it given the font clip was never reinforced to handle the extra weight and power of that LS. vTuned is way stronger and he is actually taking great care to address issues before they become a problem.
VTuned Mustang is gonna smoked that Camaro
@@WhitentonMike and goonz Camaro has a fucked up rear end it's off set to the driver side
@@WhitentonMike I agree dude
@@thatmaverickguy859 Really? That is ridiculous if true, though given they're anything but perfectionists it wouldn't surprise me. Their work is shoddy and rushed.
I dig the look you're going for! There are many Mustangs out there, so doesn't matter if you customize one more that was already burned. Make it how you want, take your time, be prepared to fail and try again... it will turn out awesome!
It took approximately 16 years to paint the Mona Lisa. Leonardo da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa between the years of 1503 and 1519. However, scholars tend to debate the exact timeline of the portrait’s completion. Some art historians believe da Vinci started the artwork later than 1503 based on the evolution of his style, while others argue that the portrait was never finished at all.
I wish you had more content, more often. You are innovative and a refreshing breath of air. Your mellow and easy to watch and you don't tear up your cars on You Tube. I love your insite on the mustang and the fact that you are not just throwing it together with a bunch of expensive parts, just to call it done.
car looking amazing and you can do whatever you want you and your brothers are just the best at this job
Like I have always said from day 1, this is your channel, your cars & its your purgative on how you build your them. You are the one who needs to smile & be happy with your cars when you look at & drive them. This is probably one of the best videos you’ve done Ben. I support you & your choice to do as you see fit. See you in the next installment.
he will be really happy looking at it while it rusts away behind the shop after he soaks all the views he can out of it.
Great work - thanks for staying with this project car - they take time...
Can't say that I'm a fan of widebody, but it is absolutely yours and you do good work. Looking forward to seeing the final product.
@George Absolutely not, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Thank you for the laugh. BIFB mustang is on another level compared to this, no offense it's just facts. You're saying this is better than a mid-engine, full custom chassis, custom one off wheels, custom widebody kit, etc. You're delusional lol.
Bro!
The build is awesome!
Don’t listen to the haters. YOUR car is your personality. Do it as you please.
I would build it the exact same.
Keep up the excellent customization. It rocks!
Thanks Ben I like how bold the car will look. Keep at it and don’t get discouraged by negative comments. They are just jealous of your talent and vision .. maybe you could get summit racing onside they have a massive range of 65 parts. Good luck .
One must not forget that this is an entertainment channel and not to be viewed as an automotive engineering instructional guide. It’s a lot like “Pimp my ride” as long as it turns out shiny at the end is all that counts.
I think the vent needs more work, maybe more rounded edges, but other than that it turned out pretty good at the end.
I was thinking the same thing, if he went with the bigger one but made so as it goes into the fender it gets closer to the body, like at an angle front to back, would make it flow better, imo.
To me the vents on the rear wheels are ppointless and could end up causing more noise than any cooling effect as the air going through will hit the tyre and do nothing to hlp cool the brakes .. It will also increase the air in side the wheel arch which most cars use vent at the rear of the arch to reduce the preasure adding a vent at the front will just increase the preasure in the arch
the fender flare looks great! the vent kinda ruined the flow for me.. front brakes need more cooling than rear brakes though..
He made a bird catcher
@@peteycrack215 bisforbuild just use mustang gt vents (i believe) and molded them into the body. i get vtuned might not want to copy it, but it's the way to go.
What an aggressive look you are giving to this car! Awesome built! Excited to see the final look
I bet you this project will fail and it will finish like the previous one in the junk yard
@@josephfathallah8112 Looks like it’s headed that way.
Super clean dude can’t wait for the finished product
At 34:19 🔥🔥🔥 Looks so clean. Love the direction you’re going with the build. Personally I don’t like old school cars but I watch every video on this channel because I love fab work and cars. But now you’re doing all this extra fab work and I’m loving it. Looks amazing. I love the “learn as you to style as well”.
Nothing clean about this
Ben this thing is looking KILLER. I am more excited then ever. Make it your own. I can't wait to see what wheels you use.
Let the haters hate I love how this is turning out! Can’t wait to see what it’s done when it’s painted! The air vents are gonna flow for sure once they are right.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
5:30 The old car hobby is a very big place, and I'm one of MANY people who love a car that's been returned to "day after production" condition. We're trying to preserve history so that future generations of car lovers will better understand how the world once was. However, the sales volume of 1965 Mustang hardtops produced (410,260 units) means that there's room for both customized cars and "time capsule" ones.
"We already did some calculations and what not"......riiiiigggght...LOL
Before you weld that flare on, don't forget to use it as a template for the other side, Great job and looks fantastic !
By far the most underrated RUclipsr out there. His work is so clean, precise and creative! Great content!
You must watch some incredibly dull and overrated garbage if you think this is underrated.
It's definitely going to be a unique '65 Mustang build in the end. At first I was doubtful but at the end of your video it is going to look really good.
Build what you want to build man. Looking good so far!
The air vent may look better if you take it up too where the door starts👍🏻
Looks like a dually truck, now it can't be unseen!
I love that you are going all out with this build and doing things you have never done before.👍
I did cringe every time you talked about how much the original design sucks! But.... I will hang in there until the end of the build.😋
SOOOOO happy you molded the flares into the fenders. I thought you were leaving it as it was at the beginning.🤣
I am glad to see you are pumped about this build again.
Hey Ben, You're doing a great job on your Mustang. Build your car the way you want. If someone else wants to build it another way, they can buy their own burnt car and do the work themselves. You saved the car that probably would have been crushed. You have put in the time and it will be your vision. Keep up the great work. Thanks and we'll see you next time.
Looks AWESOME!!!
Going to look cool Ben! Build it how YOU want it!!! Been fun watching you learn as you go on your channel!
Ben, you do great work. It’s your car and if I were you I would build it like I wanted. But, think I would have installed mini tubs to carry wider tires.
Holy cow that looks better than the fibreglass thats out there , top job !
Awesome job Ben! I can't wait to see you cruising in YOUR monster Mustang!
I think this is a great upgrade to the mustang. I'm glad it'll stand out among the thousands of other classic mustangs
Hey man, I like what you’re doing but want to give you a heads up before you get too far. Mock up the front tire where it will fit and cycle it through its turning cycle. The original wheel opening is too small and wide tires tend to grab the bottom of the fenders when turning. I run an 315 front tire on my 66 and had to do a bit of clearance work. Good luck, keep the videos coming.
At the end of the day, we are all with you on this build till the end, you envision something and YOU WILL make it happen. Great video big dawg.
Only @vTuned garage is able to lower a car without actually lowering the car. Looks amazing man. Can’t wait to see the final product. 1 of 1 custom Mustang. Love it!
I think the majority would agree that it’s your build and you can customize this car exactly how you see fit.
Thank you Cpt Obvious, so generous of you to give him permision to do something... everyone hinges on your thoughts and opinions your input is so valued as is your permission to do so
the majority of clueless dick riding internet fanboys would agree.
@@slowery43 You seem so aggressive 🫣🤣
@@slowery43 He thinks everyone wants his advice.
i think its looking fantastic , cant wait to see it all painted
It's been a while. Welcome back boss!
Freaking love it bro. All the haters havent built more than a lego set. Your car homie you do you. KEEP GETTING AFTER IT
I have built and repaired countless cars in my 30 year career. this car will never be finished. I'm almost convinced now that it's just a troll for views and comments. no one can be this inept.
@@13christbane Just think how amazing that would be if it was a complete con just to trigger people. THAT IS PRICELESS. Either way it is working and doing exactly what he needs it to do. Hes getting the views the comments and the reaction so for me I love watching the whole thing.
Make your ideal car, the way you envision it to be. If someone doesn’t like the/this build. They are free to build their own car, to their specifications 🎃
This looks cool, I haven't seen this build in a while and happy to see it's still going on. For anyone who has a negative comment on the design, let's see the one you built!
Ben, I recommend you slot the quarter panel half the distance or more of the length of the vent you made to bury the back part of the vent into the body. then you can push the quarter panel inward to create a vent opening. Then make and weld in filler pieces top and bottom on the newly created vent opening.
Excellent description and plan.I was going to suggest the same, but you worded it better. To cool the brakes, which are now in further, the vent needs to drop in as you described. Then he can build a channel to direct the air inside the well.
I'm really enjoying this build Ben.
DON'T STRESS the haters!
Build it your way for yourself.
Oh and what if you open the original rear vents and fab some internal venting tubes to the rear brakes?
Just a suggestion.
Your videos are great
Keep em coming .
Cheers from Sydney Australia MATE
🇭🇲👍🦘🇺🇸🇭🇲🦘👍🇭🇲
You have some great ideas, this is going to be a very unique build. I'm looking forward to seeing it completed. Continue to have fun with this, it is your build, no one else's.
I'm glad you are building the car to how you want it. That is what makes it unique and most of these other folks on here don't have vision or the talent/skill to achieve this level of building. After it is all said and done with bodywork and paint it will look absolutely killer. Keep up the great work brother!
The only thing I don't like is vent, but the wide body fender looks good. The rear of the fender might look better if you open it up just a bit so it doesn't look like it's curving around the tire so much. I like where you are going with this build.
Go Ben, let nobody discourage you. You’re so talented and on a level of your own. Customize that car to your taste and while at it, enjoy the entire process.
Give us more content as well. Bless up!
It’s really starting to come together! The wide body really makes it!!!
Quit doubting yourself and just do it the hate comments will always be there dont worry about that just do your research and build it you got this
No matter what other people thinks of your car, if you're happy with it, then that's all that matters! Keep building that Mustang the way you want it, it'll be cool in the end!😛
Also, as others mentioned in the comments, you need to put it against the Goonzquad Camaro when it's done! 😁👍
It's Lookin Great man! People gotta remember stuffs gotta get Ugly first before it can look Awesome! Good job!
there is not a damn thing that will bring this car back from ugly
@@13christbane said nobody ever
This is one of the funniest builds i have ever seen on the Tube, well done keep up the comedy show 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awesome build so far. The fender flares remind me Ken Blocks Hoonicorn. Really cool
The car lost the beautiful classic shape and became ugly
I think its lookin sick. Cyberpunk Synthwave vibes with it. Keep up the great work fam! Thank you for sharing with us your vision on your ride.
Investing in crypto now should be in every wise individuals list, in some months time you'll be ecstatic with the decision you made today
Amazing I also started trading with Mr Harold Russell recently, $670,000 profits in just 2 months and still counting, Mr Harold is the crypto trade king as far as am concerned.
I invested in your mother instead.
It's your car mate, build it anyway you see fit and the naysayers will love it!🏆
It's your build. Do whatever you want with it. Looks perfect.
I'm sensing a Vtuned / Goozquad drag race in the future. 65' Mustang vs 67' Camaro!!
Athletic greens is simply the best.
I love it and swear by it.
That looks insane! This is going to be an absolute beast!
Hello ! it's a 21st century car ! U 're an artist, like sculptor or a painter, and right, U do what U want, express yourself. Some appreciate Oldies, me too, and some prefers creators, me too ;-)) big hug to everybody from me, from France , Alain
the is not a damn thing 21st century about this car.
Don’t listen to the haters, keep doing your cool V -TUNED mustang! It’s looking amazing! 👍🏻
For the quarter panel vents I have an Idea, get replacement quarters as donor panels then cut the concave where the body lines are then put the passenger side concave piece from the donor panel onto the drivers side and it should make a perfect vent with all the lines matching, then do the same for the other side
I'm digging this design 👌
lol...the fender flares and all the comments reminds me of that 1 friend that gets with an ugly girl, and all the homies say, "as long as you happy " hahaha
Ben is the young "CHIP FOOSE" attention to detail is bar none 🤙🤙
The car is coming a long.
I don't like the side vents but you do what ever u like I'm just here for the content don't worry about the haters mustang ppl are a tough crowd to please, last of all finaly an upload from u took a while
😲. Awesome. Love this direction bro bro. Suprise. Bold with no build up was totally sick. No one has that. Should have run it like that for awhile. You've got years to build them out and it cost you jack to repaint later.
My boy taking 1 month vacations every 2 videos, what a grind!
It's your baby, make it any way, any color, any power plant you want. Like most people here I will NEVER be able to do something like this so I just enjoy what you do. No judgements
The entire video I'm thinking, "Now he has to duplicate that on the other side." haha
VTuned’s new slogan is
‘VTuned - The Mustang Butcher’ but im still loving it
You had me wondering if while you were chilling you bumped your head, but again you did it those flares look awesome cannot wait to see the finished product nice job Ben great video 👍 👍
Ben, I like your ideas, you're turning a classic into a modern custom car, it's going to be a head turner when you're done!
Just a suggestion, I had a hi-perf 66 fastback K car that had been modified by the factory for Shelby, it had the rear scoops and they were curved instead of flat, the two surfaces above and below the flat in the door are slightly curved so maybe add a slight curve to the scoop?
Also, speaking as an old man that has had 6 knee surgeries, please take care of your knees, may I humbly suggest investing in some good knee pads to prevent bruising and tearing the meniscus membranes in your knees, they can only cut so much off and then it has to be a knee replacement prosthesis, and that will eliminate you from ever working or putting any weight on your knees.
I'm looking forward to the build, and like you said, it's your car so build it like you want it, I seriously doubt any of those negative commentators could rebuild a wreck McClaren, so don't waste your time on their foolish comments!
The "fake vent" on these Stangs is as iconic as the "swoosh" on C1 Corvette sides. If I was you, I wouldn't lose the original vent look, but would build on it rather than covering it.
Good work mate - stick with it, you'll get there.
Hey Ben, SCREW THE HATERS about cutting up a 1/4 panel!!!!! This IS your project and YOU ARE the Designer, Builder and Fabricator!!!!! Did they NOT watch your McLarean Build??? You took THAT car apart and reassembled it BETTER than the factory!!👏👏I can also appreciate that this Wide Body Kit is ALL metal and totally YOUR design!!!👍👍Keep going on this an make ALL those changes YOU want, It’s YOUR SWEET RIDE!!!!!👍👍👍👏👏👏
For anyone doubting this build. Trust the process.
Dont worry about what ppl are saying. It looks cool. I am enjoying your work, thought, creativity for all of this. Keep moving on. Awesome job!
I really like your design ! Go on. Greetings from the Netherlands 🤟
Bro dis going to be your longest build yet it's taking longer than the McLaren 🔥🔥🔥🔥😝😝😝🤪🍾✌️✌️👏👏👏👏👏😁
That cap and zip ties method was 🔥🔥
Ben the car looks great can't wait until its finished. Keep up the good work and don't let those negative people get you down
People who hate on a fully built custom car should go watch a channel about restoration. This is turning out awesome. And what's better, it's being done from scratch by a one-man team.
Awesome job on the fender flares.....you build the Stang the way you want it.... which is so cool..... can't wait for the next video..... good work Ben.......
LOL, I literally thought you were going to just use the trailer fenders as the wide body kit, glad I watched until the end!! Love the chanel.
OUTSTANDING WORK ON YOUR MUSTANG 👍KEEP GOING YOU DO IT THE WAY YOU WANT IT'S YOUR CAR 👌MAN I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT DONE SOOOOO KEWL🚗
You do you. Let the haters hate. It’s your build. Let the creative juices flow!
Glad to see you're back on the mustang! Alot of people would get lazy at this stage and just finish it. You're doing it the way you want it and I give you credit for plugging ahead!
I love the ingenuity of your flares. I was wondering if you were going to box in the rocker? Right now it looks like it will water and any other trash. If not maybe at least some drain holes.
man i wish my channel was to this level. Good work!
About time you were back you do what makes you happy 😊
Loving the wide body look so far... I'll be like some of the other comments I read I don't see the need for a vent their is not enough space for anything so I feel no vent is needed B is for build has a massive wide body and can afford to use the vents. Like everyone else said this is your build and I will watch no matter what. Keep learning and keep teaching us along this journey.
A lot of hard work it start to pay off keep it up Ben 💪 don’t listen to haters it’s your pride and joy do it the way you like that’s what makes it unique she looks mean btw
All good for you!! keep it up!! I like the idea keep it clean as you go, less work later on. it reminds me of the Gymkhana Mustang. Sweet F.....n ride at the end.
From a 72 Mustang owner do your best!!!
Ben I’m glad you’re making your own kit out of steel instead of fiberglass 👏
