Dr. Voddie Baucham is blessed with such wisdom and explains the book of Revelation better than any modern "preacher" alive today. People from the Dispensational side make the huge mistake(s) of reading the New Testament through Old Testament and interpreting Revelation from the OT prophets (instead of seeing how the OT prophets are fulfilled through NT) and reading everything literally rather than symbolically/spiritually and adding things into Revelation that are not there (devil-in-flesh "Antichrist" who isn't in Revelation, forcing people to get RFID chipped that isn't in Revelation, during some future event lasting seven years called "the great tribulation" that isn't in Revelation, with some "Jewish evangelists" that aren't in Revelation and "Moses and Elijah" who aren't in Revelation, preaching with some literal fire out of their mouths, while some "false prophet" who is upchucking frogs who croak the words "abaddon/apollyon" and perform magic tricks and help that "Antichrist-devil-man" RFID-chip people that isn't in Revelation, while some "human-locust-scorpion-horses" are stinging people who refuse to repent because the Holy Spirit has been taken after the Church/Bride of Christ is "raptured" that is not in Revelation or anywhere in the Bible) and is how they get themselves with the kind of nonsense they have forced themselves into believing to be the correct view of eschatology (and condemn others who disagree with their misinterpretation)... There is one problem I am stuck on: if the Millenium is right now (the Church age), that would necessitate that all this happening (beast, false prophet, etc.) happens during the Millenium--so how can the devil said to be bound when the Beast is deceiving the nations? If so, we must conclude that the Beast is yet future to come--but in earlier episodes he just said that the Beast (and the harlot) is timeless (and really, I think, the allusion to Rome is so strong such that any reader in the Apostle's day would've concluded the Beast is already here and persecuting the saints at that very moment). So I am leaning towards Post-mil rather than A-mil at the moment...
Not a literal bound but rather has limitations so the truth of the gospel goes forth but during the short period he will be able to decieved/ the spread of false gospels will spread like crazy Are we seeing this in our time..... yes For the past couple of years there is a lack of the truth as Joel says prosperity is priority and not repentance and humility
Revelation is clear on the point that the millennium will commence with Christ's second coming and that He will be present with the saved, on earth, during that period: In Revelation 5:10, the figures of the 24 elders, speaking on behalf of the yet-to-be gathered saints, say: "And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we _shall reign on the earth_ ." It later says, in Revelation 20:6, "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and _shall reign with him a thousand years_ ." Clearly Christ has not returned to gather the saints and to pour out the wrath of God on the unrepentant yet. Therefore, the millennium has not begun. It is highly perplexing as to how anyone can come to the conclusion that it has. The First Beast is the theocracy headed by the Roman Catholic Papacy, who is the singular Antichrist and Man of Lawlessness who has existed for centuries and now seeks to establish his second reign of tyranny with the assistance of its alter ego, the Second Beast.
It's interesting that the Beast and False Prophet (Roman Catholic Papacy & Priesthood) worked together for centuries as a killing machine against the true believers - it is estimated that from 533-1793, they killed 50 million Christians, and those were not neat and tidy executions - they were public and brutal. They were determined to make an example of the "followers of the way," and as both Calvin and Luther said, the pope was the antichrist spoken of by Paul in Thessalonians - the man of lawlessness,son of perdition. But I like Voddie's take here, that the principle carries through, and that anyone involved in full-on idolatry, worshipping anyone but Jesus, has in principle, taken the mark. It is perhaps not often considered, what the three frogs were, that the unholy trinity produced, in retaliation to the judgement of God, but Elliot, Barnes, and others believe they might be False Judaism, Militant Islam, and Marxism. Those three combined have done exactly what Voddie said - they have together killed more true believers in this last century, than all other centuries combined. Worshipping false gods, and worshipping self, or humanism, will inevitably produce this same old killing machine against Christ's servants. However, what is fascinating, is that he said, not only are those persecuted and slaughtered saints instantly with the Lord and reigning, but also their witness and martyrdom are the two weapons by which they overcome the enemy. More people keep turning to Christ through the witness of these dear martyrs.
To be honest, I am not so sure I agree, but I also believe that for those who trust the Lord, we all will understand what we need to when we need to. My only concern with just blanketing it as apocalyptic is that we have no way of knowing the author's (God's) intent. It's not like there was a human author to ask questions to. The human put what he saw into writing. Whether the visions were literal or not is known by God.
Revelation is an unveiling- in fact the very word Apocalypse does NOT mean catastrophe or disaster - it means to “take the lid off” or to “reveal”which God is doing. He shows us what is going to happen - John penned it during the 1st century so u have to read it as if u were in that time period. Will it happen - YES. Tribulation will happen. The AntiChrist will happen. But no matter how bad the world is getting - have faith in the Lord.
They too will be bound. No evil will be allowed during the millennial reign of Jesus. It’s AFTER the 1,000 year reign is completed, they will all be set loose again. This is the FINAL judgement of people where those that chose Satan will be tossed into the Lake of Fire & those that choose the Lamb will have Eternal Life.

I thought tribulation is what the world does to us Christians and wrath is what God will do to the world. We are to have and go through tribulation and THE tribulation, but the bible says we are not appointed to wrath - "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him."
My question then becomes if people are not being born or antthing of the sort the verse about if people die before 1000 becomes pretty confusing and the child playing next to the snakes and such if theres no children being born where did kids come from asking beacsue im generally confused so many differing views makes it confusing how can everyone not agree

I have to disagree with you that's like saying Isaiah 53 was just symbolism when actually we all know those exact things occurred. The battle of Armageddon and the Battle of Gog and Magog a real battles nowhere in there does it say that basically it's a symbolic just a spiritual battle. As far as the mark of the beast will be a rea mark as no one can buy or sell if they refuse it. will be something that people have the right to take or not just as in most Islamic Nations they give you the chance to either accept Allah or have your head cut off it would be the exact same thing. It's not symbolic it's factual and that's why it indicates in Revelation that during in the Great Tribulation more people come to the Lord than any other time.

1st issue You cannot call the war in 19 the same war against Satan in 20 the same thing. Chapter 19 is a war against the beast and the false prophet who are thrown alive into the lake of fire. Chapter 20 is a war against Satan directly. Chapter 20 gives past tense statements.about thr beast and false prophet. Satan gets casted into the lake of fire where the beast and false prophet HAD BEEN. Two separate occasions. 2nd issue. Voddie (whom i love fiercely as a brother in Christ) says while satan is bound he can still do things within limits. That is not what Revelation says. It says Satan was bound and thrown into the bottomless pit and SEALED! He cannot influence the inhabitants of the earth if he is sealed up in the bottomless pit/abyss. Satan is not omnipresent. It isnt a prison cell where he can write his letters to his followers from. Satan is out of the picture while sealed up. Issue 3 the temple at the end of Ezekiel which hasnt been made yet Dont call that the new Jerusalem because its obviously not. Its a millennium temple set up by Christ. Isaiah 65 says we're going back to long life spans and people who are "accursed" will still die and babys will still be born. Zephaniah says in the day of the Lord He will search Jerusalem with lamps His kingdom becomes of this earth and His followers are now able to fight back. Against who? Zephaniah says against thoses who say the Lord will do no good nor will He do evil. Complacent people. My point the Millennium reign must be an actual physical reign before the total end. (This is not an argument for dispensationalism) Just for the millennium reign Be faithful brothers be a faithful servant and stand watch for the Master's return. As He told us to.
This sounds an awful lot like full preterism. Vodie seems to be ignoring the clear allusions to the harlot being unfaithful Israel and Jesus coming in judgment upon them in AD70.
