My parents used to have a 1986 Range Rover Classic In light blue here in Delhi, it was around late 2000s when we had it. Of course i wasnt born but we have a few stories of the car. I haven't been able to find any clue of a light blue Range Rover from 1986 in India. Only a handful of these RR Classics are left and running in india. Apart from bad quality these british cars are real tough.
9:59 even this car was used in movies. Or movie. The one I can remember is Amar Akbar Anthony, and you can see this one ferrying Pran. Quite a few shots. Mr Goenka will be the best person to confirm.
Top of the line collection.. Painstakingly accumulated over the years.. The love and finesse in each of the cars can be seen.. Would be nice to know which are the good restoration places in Mumbai? Nowadays there are so many restoration places for vintage cars.. cant make out which are truly genuine ...
Some really nice cars! Wonderful. Even the garage is so subtle, the lighting, decor, it is not taking away from the cars unlike other garages.. the focus is all on cars and this video with all the shots has been well shot! Also, why not Mr Goenka like well connected people try to bring in regulations concerning classic car restoration, registration etc more easy.. why is the whole restore and modification industry not supported by the govt and why are not there easy regulations for people to register old cars as classic like The West? Sure they pollute, but Automobiles and anything burning oil will pollute... Not everybody wanna own old cars, but people are penalized for owning one or wanting to own one and making it look nice and shining. Or even different in the case of customisers .
