- Just got to crazy out here at RedBull hardline. Track was insane at the weather came in, rain but mainly the wind was the deciding factor we had to through in the towl.
What and amazing event already looking forward to next years race. Plus bike check.

Bummed, the event got canceled, this was set to be an all time show. I was stoked to see Brendan dog and G-man on the start list as well as Kyle strait and of course granddad and BK we’re gonna push for the win.
Reschedule? Or run it like a surf comp with a three day window or something to have the race when the weather permits

@jaygee6447 Nothing against the guys that didn't want to go, I'm just saying Bernard is out of his mind. Even compared to other elite riders with Hardline experience. He's an anomaly.

@@jg2408 Thing is, this is The race for him. His reaction to what happened here last year tells all. I think he tried to will this year's race into happening by riding as if everything's fine (and to show others that it's doable), but it just wasn't meant to be.

@@jamble7k he’s definitely mr hardline and loves a good send, I think they called it right this time though, shit weather is one thing but 25+ mph winds in a valley is a disaster waiting to happen on such long jumps, there’s so much airtime it wouldn’t take much to cause a disaster

Hardline is probably my favourite MTB event of the year. The race is great but all the content released by the riders having fun and working together is what makes it so good. I’m a gutted the got cancelled but it’s gnarley even in good weather so it makes sense to cancel to keep the riders safe and at least there’s plenty of footage from the practice day.

I’m just happy nobody got killed! It was the right decision to cancel this year’s Hard Line. You can’t fight Mother Nature and those who try usually end up in Boot Hill pushing up roses!🙏

No bro that was a cut to after the event had been cancelled.. BK was the only one who did a full run, & only because he got a very short lull.. There's simply no way they could have had a full race day even if they grinned & bared it.. The Road Gap Drop was forming a rut at the landing with only half of the riders dropping in, that's how soft the ground was.. Then you add 25mph winds to a 90 foot jump & it just becomes dangerous.. It's all about calculated risk, not stupidity for entertainment or sponsors.. How many of the UCI riders would have wanted to take ludicrous risks like getting blown off-course at 50-60kmh with the UCI World Champs coming up in 2 weeks? .. Hence many of the riders doing bike checks to fill content..
