Nice tutorial! I like the bits about Anita; I am also fascinated by how she lived her life. She is a style icon that has never received quite her due credit.
I liked this video it’s cool, and you got the look that Pallenberg had. You have look that Stevie Nicks had circa 79/80 Tusk era. Any chance you could recreate that look please, respect.
@@courtneycovino Oh hi, yes please it’s the Tusk era circa 1980 when she had brown hair and wore red a lot, if you Google that era you will see it, Sara look. Thank you, respect
Great job Courtney 🖤 this style really suits you, the story of Anita is certainly an interesting one She both won the hearts of Brian and Keith, and was very rock'n'roller. She actually didn't marry Keith Richards but was his partner throughout the seventies, and they had 3 children, Marlon, Dandelion Angela, and Tara Jojo (RIP) She had a very up and down life I would say, but she is such an underrated icon. She would have absolutely loved this video is she'd seen it. Keep up the good work, Courtney and I'd recommend a Marianne Faithfull look, or maybe Pattie Boyd and Maureen Starr. P.S if you haven't seen it, id recommend watching Barbarella (1968) with Jane Fonda, Anita plays the great tyrant
Wow! Thank you so much for your kindness! I've been obsessed with Anita since I was too young to know who she was lol. I bought Performance on VHS for $67 (dvd hadn't been invented yet) when I was 15 in 1991. Nice to meet a fellow fan!
@@courtneycovino You're very welcome, I was very impressed with your channel. I love the dedication you put into your make up. Recently I've been getting into the Rolling Stones, Mick, Keith, Brian, Bill and Charlie were all incredibly talented guys. Anita was one lucky lady, she inspired the Stones' song 'You've got the silver' and many others, I believe. Brian and Keith both loved her, but sadly it didn't work out with Brian. I need to watch 'Performance', 'Sympathy for the devil' or 'Rock and Roll Circus', because my dad had seen the Stones and my Grandma saw Mick Jagger at Heathrow. Great video Courtney, keep up the good work
@@lilmissrockchick4962 Thanks again! I would recommend Keith's book Life. I'm reading She's a Rainbow which is all about Anita. Performance is was of my all time favorite movies. Very contraversial but Anita was wonderful in it and you can hear her amazing voice unlike Barbarella where they dubbed it over.
@@courtneycovino Thanks for responding I definitely need to check out 'She's a Rainbow' because I love the song and Anita had an up and down rainbow of her life. 'Performance' does look like an interesting, movie and I'm quite keen to see Mick Jagger's acting in it. Anita was stunning in Barbarella with her dark hair and her voiced was dubbed by Joan Greenwood, I believe. I enjoyed Barbarella however I felt it just sort of ended on an ubrupt note. Funnily enough, we've actually got the book 'life' by Keith Richards at home, so I'll definitely give it a read. I hope you enjoy the rest of 'She's a Rainbow'. Also when you said about getting ready and putting make up on, I absolutely love that feeling. I love make up 😍💋💅💄
Anita and Keith only had 3 children. Marlon, Dandelion Angela ( Angela) and Tara who passed away at 10 weeks old in 1976 while Keith was on tour in Europe. Keith’s mother took Angela and raised her from then on. Theodora is the youngest of Keith’s daughters from his marriage to Patti Hanson, their other daughter is Alexandra.
Actually she rarely wore makeup she hated it!!...when She was asked by directors where her lashes were.. She licked her fingers and pushed up her lashes.. She was allergic to mascara!.

Loved your tribute to Anita, a true sexy, iconic lady from a cool decade. Merci
Thank you! She will always be a muse to me.
Hi Courtney just uploaded a new video where I mention some things about Anita Pallenberg. It's in a video called 'Trip to Germany part 4'
Awesome! I'll check it out!

Child of God She wore quite heavy eye make up in Barbarella
