I dont mind the originality of the design but 2 things that stood out for me were 1) The deviant storage were not all facing the same way. Some you had backwards with the light towards the wall and some were light facing out. 2) Your red light district(the refrigerators)...the light was not centered over the fridges or your fridges were not centered on the light. Otherwise love your vids
The red light position was deliberate. I'm not a fan of making everything perfectly aligned. As for the deviants, good point: I should fix that and make them all face the wall. I don't want to see their disgusting faces.
@11:50 you can use the long halfwalls (they should actually be named quarter walls tbf) to snap the foundations to them, Ie: put the quarter walls down to desired height and then try to place a foundation alongside the quarter wall and it should work.
Fun but gimmicky, is how I’d sum it up. It looks like you had a lot of fun creating it, but the end result doesn’t so much feel like a home/base, more like an art concept. Great vid.
@@RATETHEBASE Well then if you consider it a nightmare of a home then isn’t 7/10 a little generous? I was just giving an opinion mostly to help you with the algorithm sir.
9/10 Love the exterior design, mixing and matching the Wallpapers, guest areas are superb! specially the one with plants for a divider I agree on that one build that looks like a smoking area 😅 in my experience all smoking areas look identical to that. For the cons asymmetrical floors and lights (REE) the area with the diamond shaped door looks good but in reality anyone would trip over 😂😂 could just remove it for safety purposes Inaccessable Weapom rack, incase of a home invasion your ready-to-grab weapons are too far from reach overall I love the build, very modern and realistic, alot of applications that architects use in real life! Keep up the hard work mr rtb ❤❤❤
Fun exterior wave design and a home instead of a fortress. Task and purpose for PvE. Not so great at base defense purification. Mankins using up the base trap limit instead of being only in Eternaland for testing builds. Lack of base defenses like turrets, fortifications and not allowing quick transitions to sight lines around the perimeter. Like doors to get to the other side where the mobs are spawning at or a central nest that sees everything to shoot at. Certainly, Not made for PvP. Nothing is designed with honey combs to slow down players from breaching the main building. That wide open bedroom lacks room definition turning it into a inside mall balcony. 6/10 as a PvE start base. Base function goal not entirely met but looks fun. Stardust corruption rating 7/10 for the diamond archway walk through walls and red light refrigeration room.
I've left the game because, while I appreciate aspects of it, I just can't sink that much time into the grind or recovering my earlier work. They could have instituted many ways without a reset and, because the game is designed around the reset and moving to new servers, the endless server will likely become terminally boring in two months. That said, if you communicate with the devs, I never told them my feedback so feel free to pass along. I'm just interested in the experience improving and the game possibly growing to the point I might regain interest. 1. "Resets" to play with low leveled friends could be achieved without wiping your progress. Many games have given abilities that apply a temporary debuff reducing you to an effective level. They could even have it so the party leader's level is where you de-level to so you level with them, and this de-leveling would include being unable to equip your top-tier gear, but you could still keep a low and mid-level set for these groupings. 2. Dropped weapons are backwards. You should be able to repair but not calibrate them. If you want a better one drop a better one, or craft one. They could also prevent adding scopes, magazines, etc. to dropped weapons. Mods should still be usable though. This means you could legitimately drop a great weapon and keep it for a while, but it would never get any better and couldn't compete with an equal tier crafted version. 3. Base parts are too numerous and clunky, and snap points need to be cleaned up. Look at Ark: Survival Ascended or No Man's Sky for inspiration where you can pick one item, like a wall, and pick variants of that one block such as windowed wall, doorway, or double doorway. Parts also need the ability to flip/rotate and as a fellow "misaligned boards, REEEEE!" builder, the inability to simply flip the texture on my curved ceilings to align it with my build is top-tier frustration. I often avoided curves because of the texture issues they caused. What I meant by "too numerous" is that we don't need both a bottom and top left 45-degree, right 45-degree, left 45-degree half, right 45-degree half wall. Just make "45-degree wall" that we can flip/rotate/scale to make all eight variants from a single piece. • Yes, this would break existing base blueprints and Eternaland structures while in Early Access, which would make many people rage to the max, but in the long run rebuilding the building system will pay off if done sooner rather than later. • If they wanted to be super generous they could redesign in such a way that each iteration of a piece could be backwards compatible with existing bases, such as considering all "Left" facing walls to be a certain face alignment on the individual block, which means old blueprints would need to be translated to the new terms but would be usable. If going this route I'd make a blueprint translate on placement, then delete the old one with a popup to re-blueprint. • If they wanted to be *super duper* generous they could even make those components able to flip from wall alignments to floor alignments, so your one crescent block can be a quarter circle as a wall, or as a floor/ceiling, in any direction, with a texture that aligns to itself. :poggers:
if u rly enjoy building bases and rating em maybe u need to try playing 7dtd .. way more creativity there and I think interesting base designs will run out soon in Once human ..
I mean, visually it's nice, but I don't like wasted space in my bases. So those corners you can't do anything with on the 'wings' would just drive me insane.
I don't know how it works. When a Hive member gets the glass pack and want to "share", how does it work? Does it mean the "member only" can build walls or can he give me a kind of present, so that I can build whenever I want or must the member stay in my base???... I don't know. I love to build and "travel with my base". Am I the only one who think all Hives are more private? I see a lot of Hives but only with 2, 3 Members. I doubt that it makes sense to apply there Oo
It's not a share. They are allowed to borrow it, YOU as the owner of it have to place every single structure for them in their base (you need building permissions) and if you ever revoke the share from them, their base will be returned to the material you used the skin on (wood, stone, etc). So the "share" is just a "permission to borrow, assuming the owner is willing to build it in your base and won't revoke it".
10/10. First and only base I've seen with a dedicated smokers lounge.
At least now everyone knows who that "friend" is.
I can change my build (Shrapnel, Frost, etc), but I will never enjoy more than to rebuild my base again and again and again....

I thought I was clear that it was an experiment. It's a nightmare of a home.
@@RATETHEBASE Well then if you consider it a nightmare of a home then isn’t 7/10 a little generous? I was just giving an opinion mostly to help you with the algorithm sir.
I am considering revising the score to a 4.
Dang this looks fire bro! Good job 🤗
As a 4th year Architect Student, I actually watch most of your videos for entertainment and inspirations! cheers
I don't have anything to say congrats on this time, so first?
I wish they would add painting of structures. Instead of changing the skin, I'd just want to change colors of some standard skins
glad if you see mine, but sadly I'm in PvE 1 0001 not in yours
9/10

I like it. Gonna go play around with this concept in Eternaland.
Absolutely love the design. Where or how did you manage to get the large screen TV?
actually a fair breakdown of a the base! providing the f2p aspect then realising it fits really well is 🤣
Wow, looks Amazing!
I Like it 👍👍
Nice Christmas tree 🎄, should add some bells
I don't know why, but the shape of the roof reminds me of Spiral Knight, and it makes me happy. :)
I'm watching this instead of finalizing my Thesis lmao
Your commitment to bases is unmatched!
Wish we could use more decoration items, the limits are painful and also kinda inconsistent on what’s decor and what’s not
Gorgeously done.. bravo.. love this so much..
The shelves are nice
Got them in blackfell house with the pool By the wish machine monster.

You wher at my base yesterday... but i was just in building process 😂
Wanderer, u have the glass pack now too? Nice, I want to buy it too but me wife won't like me spending more aside from the Battle Pass :D
Where did you get the white wall paper?
Love your videos btw.
noice looking base
christmas tree 7/10

This look like a house that rate the base himself would break in, scream about the weird choice of walling and rate it 3/10

how did you get that green and black wallpaper for the walls??
The idea is good, but I think the look of the base is too “random” to say the least
I mean, visually it's nice, but I don't like wasted space in my bases. So those corners you can't do anything with on the 'wings' would just drive me insane.
You can actually upgrade foundation without having to destroy it

I love this game but it has a whole lot of building limits. Check out a game called Galactic Empyrion. The building is amazing in that game.
love it .
how do i get my base rated?
Pretty good base
Maybe bit too big 😀
6/10
Fair
Raggtagg???
Can you rate my base before the next season?
And fifth!
yep, base gud, lol excuse for low effort comment
I am in a different server, but I want you to rate my base? Can we? I just wanna have fun haha
You can suggest it on his discord as far as I know
@@billymays9296 i mean i will try that but idk if he will agree to other servers haha
Cant afford the glass skin
Use my F2P option. Prob better anyway.
Boy that base isn't very gutter tier 😅
4/9 lol just kidding
4th coment!
1//10. you got 1 point for the gun range.
Bad Base 😂
6/10
