- This is a typical day during my static veterinary clinical internship these days. I was always looking forward to experiencing the internship ever since my college first year. Now when I am actually doing it, it all feels so good!

Hi.. Do we need to take anti rabbies vaccinations through out the study period?
Yes you must be pre vaccinated when you deal with stray dogs, rabies comes in 2 forms dumb and furious so many a times dumb form.goes unnoticed. So you must be vaccinated
@@thevettdiary some are saying after taking vaccination also if any dog bites we need to take another shot after bite.. Is it true? And do we need to take it every year until we continue our profession?
Yes if the dog comes to you with a history of dog bite and bites you then you will have to take post bite vaccination as well even if you are pre vaccinated. So it is important to restrain the dog properly and wear gloves before examining them. And yes annual vaccination must be taken.

Great...first saw the diversity of Doctors ❤️❤️...me too being a part of homoeopathy fraternity ❤️❤️which also has medicines explored for animals ❤️❤️and from animals ❤️❤️ also and thus watching this to see the diversity of care ,kindness,love ❤️❤️, training and knowledge that veterinary doctors also go through..this is the beauty of life showing the similar adversity phases of diseased conditions in amimals similar to humans but the holding the fact that animals cannot speak as do we do..but they express everything ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😊😊

Hey Dr.Hansika . It is a wonderful experience watching your videos. I have one question to ask. How do you deal with the emotions of looking at stray dogs and the way they are treated. And also with animals that have been abandoned and abused. It pains me to my stomach when I see such incidents. And I don’t know how to cope with them. Please let me know how you deal with it.
