I know I have failed in the past but I just can't think of any good examples. Really struggling

Jordan wasn't cut from the team, just placed in JV to get better. But the analogy is still true. 👌

Thank you for all the content and resources you provide! They have been extremely valuable to me during this application cycle. In regards to failure being subjective, can I talk about a personal failure, such as feeling like a failure to my own culture (an insecurity I felt when I was young not feeling "hispanic enough")?

Hi! If I am re-applying to medical school, should I mention not being accepted the first round as a failure? I learned a lot from the experience and it helped me grow as a person/applicant, but I am not sure if it's more of a bad thing to mention rather than a good example. Thanks!

Thank you for the tips! Would you recommend staying away from academic failure such as receiving a D in a class and having to retake it?

Depends on the specific circumstances and the lessons gleaned.

Here in med school @49. Fail 2 classes, in which I have to repeat. Let this sink in. The algorithms is scary on the internet 😮. Any advice❓️

Hello, thank you for this video. I have a question for you, but I don't know how to contact you. Well, the question is; I am an international student (premed) and I will be visiting my country this summer. I was thinking of shadowing a doctor/volunteering there. Is there a way I can do that so that medical schools will look at it as something because I know they can be skeptical of international experiences.

Hello Shammah! So long as you also receive shadowing experiences in the US, it'll be fine. Moreover, you will have an opportunity to contrast your experiences across countries, discuss cultural competence, etc.

Thoughts on offering the failure of a failed application cycle?

If you failed in human interactions, how does researching psychology to understand it sound?
Too much of a red flag?

It's always great to bolster weak areas, especially if you have an interest in those areas. Just make sure not to do it for the sole purpose of addressing a problem
