Sekhemas trial boss: 1. Easily obliterate his HP until he becomes invulnerable. 2. Run chasing the little sand clocks. 3. Die because you are too slow.
I'd enjoy a guide for the other bosses as well, maybe you could cover some benchmarks also? I'm wondering what level I should try arbiter of ash and other citadel bosses
All of my xesht kills have just been freeze him before he hits me and just kill him before freeze and stun wears off. Excited to see what he actually does
If ur a warrior doing bosses reroll into totems if u want to play slams or just spec into dual wield titans blood for a giga one shot bleed hammer of the gods
Literally the best pinnacle boss in the game so far. Reminds me of how much fun I had learning searing exarch the first time I encountered him, all the others feel way too “one-shotty” and cheap as hell. This fight is super well telegraphed minus some overlapping mechanics in the higher levels. They did a damn good job designing this one
If you're impatient, you can also stop the burrowing by waiting for him to reach you and then dodge roll to the side as it's a horizontal line that appears in the ground and is very easy to dodge.
very high quality guide and I know as a hardcore player having this info easy available to break it all down is very useful. for example my damage was high enough i had no idea the arm slams only come after the phase transition and i thought the purple portal was him casting the arms my first time.
I just attempted this boss for the first time and absolutely dominated him. This guide helped a lot. I knew exactly how to avoid the handful of attacks he did. Got him to the phase 2 transition and was able to kill him before he did any more attacks. I'm interested to see
I feel is good to mention that you HAVE to kill monsters in the Breach cause they give time. Is mentioned that you can use two characters, but people be aware to not go with a Single Target build that has no way to clear the way.
Phase transition seems to be the only 4x arm slam. Arm slam can be los ed on the side bridges. The chasing phase can be ended sooner by getting CAUGHT, it still only does the sideway slicing. Usually best to progress any mechanics lingering on like arm slam then go engage I think. Tul has a not so fast rotation speed that can be utilized.
When he burrows and becomes invulnerable, you can just roll into him and roll again, he will not hit you. It's useful if you have a buff running or don't want him to summon more hands in phase 2.
On high tier versions of the boss I’m having real trouble when he does arms and finger gun at the same time, I just wasted 400 exalts trying to complete it. T1 and 2 were easy but t3 is bleeding my currency dry
Surprised it took so long for anyone to make one of these. Every "guide" you look up is just a video of people one shotting bosses with 0 mechanics lol.
See guys? This is what 1 map 1 try does to the game. You are not allowed to learn by playing, you are only allowed to learn by watching. Where is the fun of watching a metric ton of guides, so you don't waste important maps and invitations? Are we not allowed to have fun retrying and learning a boss' attack patterns and get that dopamine, when you finally beat it yourself? Nah thats un-fun, right? right? Better watch others play the game and then go in there and beat it first try or use a oneshot build, that you put together by first wachting something and then buying it from the trade site and then what?.
im struggling against Citadel bosses more than Xesht but im only on tier 2 Xesht, so far ive made 1 attempt at each Citadel boss and all 3 of them have one shot me in a single attack ive got 84% fire res, rest resistances are fully capped and i have 4500 energy shield its crazy
I did this boss as my arsonist after just buying the splinters. He melted in 15 seconds and all abilities he did were obscured in flames. I took about 2k damage when hit but I had 20k es. Pinnacle bosses need to be changed. Arbiter too is quite easy except i keep getting fucked by orbs that spawn so f ar that i can mt reach them with blink on cd. The boss should be hard, not cheese you with rng
If you play a regular non meta build utilising overtunned gems and interactions xesth actually have a great progression curve. Apart from minions, staff gemling, frost invoker and spark everything else should work hard to kill it on +4 and have great gear. People will cry a lot after the berfbats probably.
@boyangochev6836 i think arsonists would struggle with the +4 fight tho. I feel like I squeezed as much damage as i can +9 levels and pretty much every dps node. and grim feast doesn't do anything Vs bosses so long fights that consistently tickle you are rough
@@sloesty I don’t play minions so I can’t give an accurate response but I’ve seen some minions melting it. Probably it requires a lot of investment for +4. For my int stacker crackling staff monk, I needed very good defence and damage to tackle it properly. Now I do have quite more damage but my build is 100 divs at this point
@@boyangochev6836 its infernalists, there is a hard cap to their damage. You can only get so much from gear and the tree. In terms of dps, ice minions are better late late game. I'm switching to them.
This boss is still bugged, ive wasted at least 5 div dying over and over to never ending falling hands. Its just a horrible experience when the boss never functions properly. Literally impossible man, absolutely game breaking bug
Last tier of xesht oneshot me with an ability not listed here. He went unhittable for few sec, i take some space from him, checked my shield Witch was 8k and then book. Dead.
It's really annoying that block just doesn't work at all as a defense layer vs bosses. Every time I get 300 splinters I have to unspec all block nodes, unequip shield, and just put them all points into dmg and kill him in half a second. Great game design ggg😂
I find him very difficult, because once he gets to his second phase, I have to spend so much time dodging mechanics that I barely have time to get into melee range and stand still to hit him.
Yeah, IMO he really needs a longer cooldown on the 4 hand slams, even just like 5 seconds. During phase 2 it feels like there's almost never a moment they aren't accosting you, which means finding a damage window is rare between all the mechanics being thrown at you.
Well that sucks. I saved up 300 splinters to get the item. Uses it and walked through the hand and nothing spawned in. If i swing my weapon i killed the invisible enemies but couldnt find the jands to extend time.. what a waste
2 sec I need with Spark to kill xesht. They will murdered the Spark in next patch but that's all right cuz they really need to fix Arc in the same patch.
Fight is not fun at all on the hardest difficulty. Boss is constantly spamming abilities 24/7 I'm just dodging dodging dodging dodging dodging dodging dodging. Call me crazy, I wanna do a little fighting in the boss fight. I know, insane, but after dodging one shots for 5 minutes just to get my toe clipped by an icebolt that bricks my run and resources is the most unfun shit ever.
I absolutely Love PoE2, but GGG's approach of "1 try and otherwise fuck you and your days of grinding" is not something I support. Im no RUclipsr or Streamer or living in a basement, it takes me 2-3 days at the very least to collect 300 parts for 1 Stone and try this. And I've been stuck on +2 Xesht for an entire week now, because I keep dying to the Phase 2 arms. Im not fast enough to outrun them and he keeps spawning them in perfectly so I can dodge 1 arm, but the animation recovery isn't quick enough to dodge 2nd arm. 6.4k ES and 2 hit by the arm and Im dead. I get 1 Divine in 2 weeks, I've played 270+ hours and had a total of 3 drop. I follow all the important stuff, Ziz, Raxx, DM,FubGun and what not. But it feels like Im playing an entirely different game when talking about drops. I can't get the gear to burst bosses down before they move, but it also takes me days just to get 1 try at him. Only to get fucked in the ass by his arms and Im back to multiple days of breaches for 1 more attempt.
I believe it would be a good idea to prioritize guides on bosses that are much harder/more expensive to access. 0/8 Xesht is both very squishy and thus easy to kill and also easy to access, either by quickly farming 300 breach splinters or just buying a breach stone for like 60-70ex or whatever the current price on your server is. King in the Mists is about 10 times as expensive and for SSF, Arbiter tries might come once after many, many hours depending on citadel luck so guides on those are much more important, IMO.
That “my game” tirade about some other streamer who borrowed items from someone was cringe AF. Not the accusation part(which was ignorant to what rob was actually doing btw) but rather the “my game” part. Idk the entire tirade was arrogant and elitist AF. 🤷🏻♂️
Feels like watching Engineering Eternity back in the days haha. Definitely would love to see you cover the other endgame bosses as well.
Yes, it would also be great to mention which ones would one shot my character.
@@Gelonyrum Even in PoE1 with all our experience that would be impossible, let alone in PoE2 that's just really recent.

Laughs and cries in warrior build 😢😂
By far the best guide for this boss. Clear visiblity and explanation of every detail. Great work!
If you play Warrior, you can also sell the breach stone and just don't do the boss because he attacks so fast, that you can't do a single attack 👍
ahahahahaha :D :D
Titan here, killed xesht+4 5 times so far
Omg haha 😂😂

Phenomenal guide for us plebs. Greatly appreciated, and would love more boss guides if you find the time ziz.

WOW - this is such a great guide! Love direct, to the point and short as possible while showing all possible moves! PERFECT!!!
yes please do the other bosses in a similar format. not too short not too long.
I'm here because i dont want my 1 week of farming breach splinter to be wasted (:
very high quality guide and I know as a hardcore player having this info easy available to break it all down is very useful. for example my damage was high enough i had no idea the arm slams only come after the phase transition and i thought the purple portal was him casting the arms my first time.
Tips for Titans who are struggling to kill him on T1:
- Reroll to a different class
if ur struggling to kill him on titan a reroll is not going to help you lol
Like the format, very informative and on point. On the long run, will be useful to many people I believe.
I know I’m late to this video but thank you for making it. Finally attempting my first pinnacle boss
Thank you for showing each attack in such detail !

used this guide to kill his ass on hcssf, very simple and concise. bless you ziz
Great video, but consider removing the pet in these guides just for visual clarity
Yeah I immediately regret having it on while rewatching the footage
Great Guide
well explained thanks
This video was amazing!!! One of these for each boss would be a good send
keep this up with the exact editing pls, love you for this even as 10k hours played poe1 andy

Yes please , all hard boss guide!!! this was great.
Your kids are gonna look back and think youre sonic the professor of path of exile collecting of rings and master of crafting
prefect guide thank you
Amazing video!
Yeah, this was good! Do em all please!
Great video as always Ziz. Everyone out there makes these videos 10-15 minutes long nowadays.
Good video, thanks! Died to xesht 2 twice now i cant afford to fail another
My favorite part is you mentioning that we can swap character before fighting Xesht, as I have two characters 😅. Thanks Ziz 🥰👍
That t4 xesht phase 2 caught me off guard lmao I was so confused when he just kept spawning in those damn hands. 😂 I was so close too
Thanks for the video I Just collected enough sprinter for my first Breach Stone I hc. very nervous about attempting it
Thanks good video
Thanks very much. I was worried going in for first attempt. Luckily he died in the first 5 seconds haha. But I know it will get much harder.
This was very helpful. Please make videos on the other bosses. Ive died against the arbiter 3 times now =(
The challenge is to make it to the end in time, not killing the boss. Sometimes my minions get stuck on the way x.X
Yeah absolut shit with a minion build when they´re stuck once again somewhere and no dmg in sight...
steelmage needs to watch this one xdd

Quick question thou. Why do i get teleported to the start and never seeing the boss after the breach timer expires.
Thank you for this. About to face him for the first time. So many HC characters getting owned by this.
hand slam got me, should have watched the video first
3:19 combining with the arena lighting the hand is barely visible.
Ty vm!
i tried doing this boss... bro went phase 2 and started spamming sht like crazy. I spent like 5 minutes just running around dodging his attacks lol
ty so much have died 3 times already to T3 each to a different mechanic XD
Is this your footage, your character, and your gear? If not, this is the same as RMT and you should go back to D4
What type of damage he does? do i need to cap chaos res?
so can you portal out before the boss?
is it tier 1 xesht showing in the video or is the hardest one? o.o''
How do you raise his level/tier? Is it just everytime you kill him he goes up a tier?
Yes
what level should I try to fight him at? I'm lvl 83 on my ranger atm
how much i need pool to facetank all boss mech on lvl 82. I need help, i play hc and cant die
You can't phase tank

How does yours get to lv 82?? Mine when I put it at lv 81?? Why?? Does anyone know??
T4 maybe
xhest who?
dunno when this was recorded but Hes rocking 4 arm slams at phase 1...difficulty 0

double laser, always attack him upfront, no idea why but those always miss me in cqc
The only good pinnacle boss at the moment.
Real shame that I just did my first Xesht yesterday and got oneshot at lvl 91 by his first attack (hand slam) :(
Ahhhh another boss where mechanics are “move in circle around boss to dodge everything while damaging.”
Jokes aside the fight looks really cool.
Dog, you can go behind the frost hand shit.
too bad you forgot to mention the arm slams do stun us... literally died with him at 5% HP...
When is the Empy bash video? He does exactly what you're saying about Rob. Nervous Rob is already getting better than you at YOUR GAME?
NGL it's kinda dumb that you need like 25-30% movespeed or blink otherwise most of these mechanics are unavoidable. Feels like a massive design flaw.
Especially given that boots don't automatically roll MS
Pls do Audience of the king next 👍
There is a floating hand attack did him over 25 times not saw it ones
Mby cuz he’s dead in 3sec
I missed alll these shit with 850k dmg
So many mechanics in general, and many based on very little momentum on dodge roll, its so damn bs
