My wife dragged me to see this! I thought we were about 20 years too late, thinking she would be rubbish and lip sync/sing a small amount over her songs. But I was very very wrong! She sang every god dam note live on the night and when she hits them high notes its unbelievable! Total convert, I would see her again in a heartbeat!
there's one thing i cannot understand. If her lower register is so powerful and comes so easy and healthy to her, why doesn't she just lower the songs of 1 semitone or tone? Like that she wouldn't need the lipsync
The chorus is obviously lip synch'd, but you have to give her credit on 3:05-3:17 -- that is 100% live. She should have not done back-to-back nights, but I realize that is lost revenue.
