  • The Honda Accord is all new for 2023, featuring a completely redesigned exterior and interior, new hybrid engines, and new technology. A sophisticated new exterior gives way to Honda's new interior design language that first debuted in the Civic, which features a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen and 10-inch digital gauge cluster. New drivetrains include two-motor hybrid electric systems.
Accord is a 5-passenger midsize car that is only offered as a 4-door sedan. Competitors include the Hyundai Sonata, Kia K5, Mazda 6, Nissan Altima, and Toyota Camry. A hybrid variant is also available.
Six trims are offered: LX, EX, Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring. Two engines are available: A turbocharged 1.5-liter 4-cylinder that produces 192 horsepower, and a 2.0-liter twin-motor hybrid that produces 204 horsepower. Both engines mate to a continuously variable automatic transmission. Pricing ranges from $28,000 to $40,000.

I’m a big fan of the previous generation Accord. While I’m ok with the refresh, I’m more bummed about the lack of fog lights vs. dropping the 2.0 lol. And I’m team cloth seats. Leather is fine as long as heated and cooled seats are standard.

In 2014, I bought a new 2014 Accord w/CVT and will keep it, plus I just bought a 2023 Accord w/CVT. I was also leery at first about a CVT. I'm sold on it now. Never a problem. My 2014 with CVT gets way better MPG than it was listed to get.

Yes, this is growing on me. My wife and I went to look at one and ending up buying the Sport Hybrid last week. Great informative videos. Thanks!

I went to get a rental car. I was looking for a Ford Explorer because it’s something I’m familiar with driving and they had almost no cars so I wait two hours until they can find something and someone bring a 2013 Honda Accord LX back they clean it up and I tell them I’ll take it I drove 20 miles. Home and it drives exactly like a previous car. I had owned the 2018 Honda Accord LX. It’s almost an identical feel nice around the corners acceleration was great and talk about safety because this thing has it. And the update is more stylish. All around for $27,000 new it’s a great vehicle 😂😊

I hope they got rid of the head gazket reliability issues with this 1.5t engine, that's the only thing that would make me want the hybrid trims instead of the LX/EX

in this economy the LX should be renamed '2023 edition' since nobody this year can afford anything that isn't base model or discounted.

Hi Eric! The seats seemed to be fine for me in all aspects but that is based on a roughly 15 minute drive.

I like the new design but i just leased a 2024 accord lx and turned in my 2020 accord sport. The interior of the sport is sooo much better. Its fun its more colorful its just better imo. The 24 lx is boring.

Ha, ha, ha. I like that phrase, "It's a very well-behaved CVT." Way to go on that, Tom. You're right. Honda does a good job on their CVTs. Some CVTs are not well-behaved and need to be put into 'Time-Out'. 😃

I actually like this Accord over the Legacy and refreshed Sonata. I kbow that the Sonata is flashier, but I'd rather have dull if the flashy one sacrifices ergonomics. The refreshed Sonata has a capacitive HVAC panel, which is not as ergonomical as hard buttons.

Honda made a big mistake In making the accord too glass black heavy in the interior. It is hard to keep clean and the Cloth seat are horrible. Apart from those two area I have no problem with the accord. I love the CR-V. All is missing from the CR-V is updated touch screen from the accord.

Apart from tail lights which are obv an improvement to previous generation, it's still overall generic looking modern car without the charm, elegance and timeless design of 9th gen Accord.

These have a great Interior the exterior looks nice.
But you're going to get smoked by like a kia.
    I just bought a 2020 2.0t sport i'm thrilled with it.
No one wants to spend 30 or close to it to get beat by Kia.

Waaaay overpriced for what you get. They have removed so many features and have under-powered the vehicle. This is the first generation of Accord in the last 30 years that I will be skipping.
