Used the xv last year for the first time ever and I’ve never felt like I’ve had so much control on a ball before..unless I get fit for a ball and it turns out I need something different, I’m sticking with the them for the foreseeable future
Excellent Review Presentation. Please refine your Audio. Too much Echo Chamber Effect. Other than that... Very Good! I Game Z-Star & Q-Star and Love them... Thanks!
Been gaming the Z-Star for three months now. Love this ball around the greens, off the tee, and shots into greens stop and backup beautifully. Very good ball for someone that likes to control your game. Wouldn’t recommend these for a high handicap player that has problems with dispersion.
I agree completely. The z-stars just seem to jump off the club. I have a lot of people argue that they aren't as durable, but I don't need a golf ball to last me more than a whole round anyway usually. I haven't had a single issue with them
RIGHT NOW AT GOLF TOWN IN CANADA the Srixon Z Star is on sale for 29.99 ( canadian ) or 23 ( US ).....picked up 14 dozen...lol...should be good for awhile...cheers from Canada
I’m trying to decide between the QStar & ZStar. My swing speed is around 90 with the driver. I know the compression is higher in the ZStar, so I’m wondering which ball is better for my game. Not concerned about price, so which of the two would you recommend?
I would say it's going to come down how comfortable you feel about your game. If you feel you are in the higher handicap of golfers, then the q star is definitely your choice. But if you're a 15 handicap or lower, and have the ability to work the ball a little bit, you won't lose any distance hitting the z star.
The q star and the z star are supposed to be 3 or 4 piece golf balls, but when you cut any of them open they are only 2 piece. Srixon lies about their golf balls. I wouldnt buy any of their products because of that.
Cannot wait to test the newest model of these balls. Coming soon!

I appreciate the feedback. I definitely need a new microphone for sure. And I need to play around with sounds design a little more.

The 4 piece seems to work better for me
