It's about damn time! 40 years since they hit the big-time with Sweet Dreams! I grew up with Annie's songs in my head, she has been a soundtrack to my life for so long it's hard to image the British music scene without them. They pretty much defined the sound of British pop music in the 80s.
It's sad...In this day of generic crap ( and yes I'm calling out Taylor), the Eurythmics would't have stood a chance. And how sad the world would have been to miss out of these genuises!

I saw them at Staples Arena during the Peace Tour. Complements of BMG after my wall display of their Peace album won 2nd place at the Southern California Region. When Dave came out on stage is was electrifying. Annie's vocals were on point. One of the best 80s duos ever! Congratulations.

It was pop back then but it had soooo much substance. Not like today. Nothing even sounds real..All the same vocal treatment and AI instrument sounds.
