Do you know why drop tunings in a half steps tend to be called sharps and not flats? It always seemed to me that it would be a flat, because we're tuning down so wouldn't it be a flat? Anyway I don't know that there is a good answer for this. I've just always been curious.

@@Esptta flats= a half step lowers sharp. theres no difference between Ab and G# no matter the octave it's preference. I'd say its only useful when tuning by cents

chelsea grin doesnt use G#, wage war only has 1 song in that tuning and architects use an alternate version of G#

@@connorlowe7979 yea originally i thought it was just don't let me fade away, but indestructible and disdain are also in G#. they still barely use that tuning compared to A# and G
