You're doing a good thing man. People like you are changing the world and saving lives. I was planning on getting this bag in the near future, preferably in the 150 pound range.
I just finished filling and hanging mine, what a pain in the butt that was... The bag alone came out 130lbs with a 70lb sand filled sonotube (wrapped well with gorilla tape) in the core. Then mixed 45lbs of shredded fabric with 10lbs of shredded memory foam. Packed down with a sledgehammer, turned out really nice.
Hey can I ask I'm looking to buy this heavy bag and in the intro you said yours was a 130 pound bag but in the link in the description the bag is 150 pounds. Did you misspoke or is the bag you own different? Also awesome video.
Hey buddy, that's an awesome review, but what do you think of the Contender Fight Sports bag next to it, i'm debating on the 150lbs Ringside or the 100lbs Contender bag, I'm afraid of the swing from the 100lbs. I'm 185 at my best and will be doing more MMA style training then only boxing.
You know I like that bag but it is a bit harder to the punch, it is well constructed and should last us many years. We really don’t have an issue with too much swing, I think either of these bags would serve you well.
Nice! I'm on my 5th or so bag since I started kickboxing. I've always wanted a good one, but unfortunately they are out of my price range. I have a light one now, the 50lbs. canvas Everlast. When I get my next one, I'll save up for a good one! Thanks!
which one to get an 80lbs or 100 lbs? 5ft or 6ft to hung it in my 8ft ceiling garage? I will be using it for boxing and muay thai too. I already have a 45lbs round water uppercut bag and a double end bag too..I used to fight in muay thai and also did some boxing while I was still competing in wrestling. Now I just wrestle but like to hit the bags still:) Been looking at the teardroo bags too but I think I can get more out of a full bag, what do you think?? My dad will be using it for cardio too
Nice chanel ! Real hidden gem. Quick question coach, at almost 6 feet tall and 190lb, would I be better with a 100lb bag or this Ringside 130lb. I do boxing and also like to do some kicking drill as well. I dont like thai bags btw. Thanks.
Thank you! Yes, this 130lb would be a good option for you. I have noticed that the weight has settled a bit on the bottom of the bag so it is a bit harder but I assume its because we really don't punch that area. With your kicks however it may stay soft in that area as well.
If your bag gets hard on the bottom, that's your reminder to do some ground and pound drills. The only way to prevent sand and cloth from settling is to constantly beat up the entirety of the bag.
Great video! Hey I was looking at the 100lb bag because I think the 130lb is sold out on their web site. I weigh 190lb do you think the 100lb to light ?
@@dungeonboxingclub yes, but that's a finished room, and I am afraid it might leak. You think that would be safe? Also, what hanger should I get exactly? Ringside commercial or valor?
I got the same kinda of bag like this an it weighs 150 pounds an I wanted to know is there any stands you can hang it with or how can I hang it if I cant find a stand
How much "give" does that heavy bag have in comparison to a regular one? I'm looking to buy the leather 130 lbs version. I got some minor joint issues so I'm looking for a softer bag.
Obijuan841 with your joint issues this may not be your best option as it really is a heavy bag, you may want to look into a water filled type bag as the water does a great job absorbing the impact thus being much easier on your hands and joints.
Bro make your own filling. Outslayer makes a 100 lb unfilled bag with a lifetime warranty for $160 that is as high quality as it gets. Get an old foam mattress topper and cut it up. Get a few bags of rubber mulch from lowes, and some pvc cut just below the height of the bag and 50 lbs of sand. If you have any old bags you can use the stuffing from it, if not you can find them cheap on FB marketplace. Put PVC down the middle of the unfilled bag. Fill with sand and cap it. Hang the bag and fill in with mulch, stuffing and foam. Now you have a bag that will either last forever or be easily replaced, and you can adjust the ratios on the filling to achieve whatever density your joints prefer. Almost all bags are sold with sandbags and shredded cloth inside. There's very little innovation. They're made that way for durability. The softer it is, the more give it has, the more stress on weakpoints, the shorter the lifespan of the bag itself. That's why I say get the lifetime warranty and fill it however you want because you likely will never find a bag sold soft enough for you.
That is awesome!! We started in our 2 car garage and grew from there. If you have the resources to rent a large facility then get one as big as you can afford lol if not really any size space can work. I use a little bit of everything from Title, Ringside, to Winning. Good luck!
its a good bag especially the XL version, but none of the Standing bags compare to a traditional heavy bag, because a standing bag continues to move away from you. A heavybag always center itself back to the original spot, that lets you continue your training without distractions.
Yes, the rings are attached to the bag and if I remember correctly it came with the chain to hang it. I did however end up using my own chain as I needed it to be longer.
Depends on what your needs are. If this will be your only bag, I would go with the body snatcher as it is a bit bigger in dimension. If you need something specific for accuracy then the headshot would suit you better.
Oh thats a tough one, considering you probably have some serious winters! I would definitely stay away from canvas bags as they can absorb moisture. This ringside bag may be a good option for ya but I have kept mine indoors. As for gloves, I would get 16oz, title sells a ProMex brand that I have become fond of.
as soon as I heard "get the kids off the street" Mad respect bro
Thank you!
That's when I hit like and jumped into the comments.

Do work!
I know this is a stupid question, but does it come filled ?
Not stupid at all, yes it does come filled so be prepared to pay a bit of shipping.
DUNGEON BOXING CLUB how much did you pay for shipping
thanks for the review! looking to add some bags to our facility. this was really helpful. #teamjesus
pender1113 you’ll love this one!
Do it without gloves, when you have dense bones it makes your striking power SO MUCH more significant
Not something I would encourage my guys to do however thanks for the suggestion!

Yes I made an error there, it is 150lbs.
The 200 pound one is a beast. Wouldn't recommend that one unless you're a heavy puncher because that bag fights back 😄
I believe it!
I weight 180 do you think 150 pound one is good?Good video by the way 🙂
I’m 185 and my 130 lbs one is just just.
Oh definitely, this will be more than enough bag.

Can you do a video on different heavy bag drills and combinations to practice
mexzico yes! That’s a great idea. I will have something up next week!
@Chris Huber Hey Chris, I've never used Outslayer but they look to have some quality stuff. Going to have to give them a shot.
What is the bag to the right already exact same 150 pound bag thinking of adding the other one for upper cuts
I would go with a water filled bag for the uppercuts, they are so much easier on the joints. Thanks for watching!
Hows the contenders heavy bag? can you do a review on it.
That bag has served us well, currently loving the Nazo bags.
Nice! I'm on my 5th or so bag since I started kickboxing. I've always wanted a good one, but unfortunately they are out of my price range.
I have a light one now, the 50lbs. canvas Everlast. When I get my next one, I'll save up for a good one!

This is definitely a good option for ya!
I see that Terence Crawford uses this bag 👍
Nice!
Hi, could you please tell me what is the distance between two bags hanging in a row in your gym? Thank you.
At the time of this video they were somewhere between 3 & 4 ft. Thanks for watching!

Great video! Hey I was looking at the 100lb bag because I think the 130lb is sold out on their web site. I weigh 190lb do you think the 100lb to light ?
Yes, that should be plenty of bag for you, may have a bit more swing but not a big issue.
Thank you for the video. What are your thoughts on Everlast vs what your using ?
To be quite honest I've always felt everlast was on the cheap end as far as quality however I have never bought any of their high end bags.
Great review
Thank you!
So should I get this bag or the hydroblast bag for my home gym?
For a home gym I would recommend the hydroblast because you can use it as an uppercut bag as well.
@@dungeonboxingclub yes, but that's a finished room, and I am afraid it might leak. You think that would be safe? Also, what hanger should I get exactly? Ringside commercial or valor?

I had my stands made by a friend who does welding.
I am about 140 pounds do you think 150lb bag is to heavy ?
Not at all, we have our kiddos ages 8-12 that use and love this bag.
What do you use to take care of the leather?
Nothing really, I wipe the bags down with Clorox wipes after each session.
what size bag is this?
150lbs
What’s better for a beginner… leather, or power Hyde?
either or would work in my opinion, thanks!

Do you recommend a bob dummy standing bag?
David Baca I’ve never owned one however I’m not a big fan of the sand or water filled bases. Let me know if you get one and what are your thoughts.

Clean up that mold with some bleach add some primer to high risk mold areas and paint with anti mold paint and you're good.
Not mold, this used to be a printing house, powdered ink everywhere lol.
Mayweather has really wide boxing bags which seem to be really soft and padded. This ringside one looks the closest to those imo.
Yes, we have actually trained at the Mayweather gym and these are pretty close.

It truly is a great bag!
i want a 200kg/400lb bag, can someone help?
Try title boxing.
does it good for begginers? what it is filled with?
This is a really heavy bag, I would recommend maybe start with a 100 pound bag first.
What heavy bag gloves do you recommend and what bag would you recommend for an outdoor heavy bag I live in mass

5 ft as you’ll probably have around 2 feet of chain.
