Long time no see ✌️ I‘ve decided to upload less videos, because I don’t have much time for this hobby anymore. My plan is to make still challenging and complex builds. Same aspect for the video quality and editing process, because I find myself enjoying those projects more. Of course I will be building a simple stanced and clean car here and there as well, like this r32. But less videos. About one video in two months or something like that.
Quality over quantity.
I also have a question to you: Do you enjoy videos more with calm background music or without any music? (except for the intro and outro) Let me know your thoughts.

Never thought of using the stock paint as a primer.... I always strip the paint before repainting.... hmmmmm.... everyday is a school day....
If you're not going for a paint technique that requires you to strip it down, there's no reason to :)
Would still recommend stripping it, will look way more detailed

@@ShannonSouthAfrica the prob with it is that the body lines wont be able to be seen, especially on hotwheels. On the normal hotwheels (not the premium collector stuff) there's thicker paint on it so it won't come off if kids play with them. Can't find the image anymore but just repainting the car (even if its the same color) and putting sum wheels on it will change it entirely

hey im just starting this hobby and was just wondering, if i want to modify a bunch of diecast cars do i buy wheels and other parts every time or can i just buy loads of parts in one go? just because there is no shop that does them near me so i have to order online and it takes well over a week per set of wheels, thanks.

Great video! So Am I able to just use the existing paint as a primer when spray painting my hot wheels cars?
Thank you :) Doesn't work on any HW car. The paint needs to be thin. This is often the case on newer metallic paints by Mattel, which sticks extremely well to the car anyways. If the paint is too thick I would recommend to remove it, otherwise you will loose details on the casting

Thanks a lot my man! I use Display boxes made by "triple9". They are intended for 1:43 scale models, but I think they fit to 1:64 cars even better

Thanks my man :D Not really into muscle cars, so don't have a specific Idea. Maybe a big V8 charger out of the hood swap? (works on any muscle car ;) )

Thanks a lot :) Yes I used the cable sheathing off some wires. Needs to be a diameter of 0.8mm of the copper wire (= inner diameter of the sheathing), so it will fit the stock HW axles/pins, which have a 0.8mm outer diameter. Works very good if you want to stance your car.

Hey man, do you mind me asking what size wire you use for the axles.
copper wire has a diameter of 0.8mm. So the inner diameter of the sheathing will be 0.8mm as well which fits the stock HW axles/pins

Don't want to share them online. Planning on selling them maybe. They are also still in beta phase, it's kinda hard to find the right support for those small rims

What kind of ballpen did u dismantle for the exhaust?
Its just some random junk ball point pencil, nothing special
Will stripping the paint first make a whole lot difference in term of details, or not?
You will have a bit more details for sure. It also depends if the hw original paint is thick or not. If yes then 100% strip the original paint. I made the experience that with some metallic paints they are extremely thin from factory and could be used as an primer. Make sure to scuff it with a grey scotch pad though to get proper adhesion.
