Bob Cole brought Canadians together every night!
Saturday nights and playoffs for sure!
He was the voice of multiple generations. Rest easy Bob. Thank you.
Bob was the voice of hockey for an entire country over multiple generations. He was the voice I always heard as a young boy doing hockey on HNIC. Nobody else brought it to your ears the same way Mr. Cole did. Thank you for being THE voice of all my heroes passes and goals, Sir. You will never be matched, and you'll always be the best.
This was beautifully done. If Hockey Night In Canada does not honor his legacy on Saturday properly, I will be very upset. They didn't do much tonight, but I am so happy TSN was able to put this video package together so quickly at 3PM PT on Sportscentre.
Bob Cole & Harry Neale were my favs for many years. RIP Legend.
Were they both in The Hartford Civic Center?
My buddies and I were saying just yesterday during the Leafs game that Bob Cole was the best! I got goosebumps listening to those calls.
The hockey world is a much worse place without Bob Cole. You will be missed, R.I.P..
"The Canadiens win the Stanley Cup!"
... I will never forget that in '93
Absolutely! DES-JAR-DANS !!!!!!
Bob was so much more than just a great voice. He was the kinda person that everyone around the league loved. Everyone who knows hockey loved. Every hockey family in Canada knows bobs voice off by heart, and love him. Not a single person disliked Bob Cole. And that’s how you know Bob is more than just an incredible commentator.
Rest easy Bob.
He's going home! He's going home! He made the calls with his great voice. He was the VOICE!! YEAH!! His legacy is eternal. And now he's going home...to Heaven. God Bless you Bob!!
Never hearing that voice commenting again is a hard pill to swallow

So grateful to have listened to him my entire life.
Congratulations, RIP to the greatest voice of hockey
Living in Canada hockey was basically life for me and bob cole was the true voice of hockey rest easy brother!!!
The reason why I watched Hockey Night in Canada along with Don Cherry. I'm so lucky that we get the channel here in Michigan. The best play by play hockey announcer in Canada to ever do it.

Iconic voice! Makes me remember some of the biggest games on hockey night in Canada
The voice of playoff hockey to me. I miss hearing that voice in April and May.
The voice of hockey as a kid. I might be a Devils fan but he made watching the Leafs, Habs, sens, really any Canadian team must watch.
He brought class to play by play unlike any other.
RIP to the legend
He was the best voice in Canada History . My fav moment was the 2002 gold medal game in Salt Lake City
❤
The best of the best has left this earth
Bob Cole WAS Hockey Night In Canada. He was the soundtrack of Saturday night.

His calls made goals and moments that much more iconic. RIP Bob Cole. 🇨🇦
Well done.
Sad day for Canada. I'm in tears. Bob was the epidomy of hockey night in Canada
He certainly was
as a Bob Cole fan I cheered a winner
Nobody’s even close, total legend
He will be missed .
Thank you, Bob!
Des jar din!!!!!!
Prefect.
Bob Cole could make me jump out of my chair and almost hit the ceiling especially in playoff overtime games. I'm an Oiler fan and saw some of the cup games but my personal favorite was the 1997 where the Oilers were down 0-3 in a game then came back quickly to tie it then win it in overtime. He's my favorite sports broadcaster of all time. Thanks for keeping comments open.
❤❤😢😢😢😢 we lost a legend the voice we will miss you dearly thank you for everyhting you have done for the game
Thank you for the wonderful memories
The velvet voice, the one and only (Bob Cole) RIP to the legend 🙏
One of my favorite Bob Cole calls was 1997 Edmonton/Dallas and it goes. THEY HAVE TIED THE GAME
YES!!!!! Down 3-0. That series was the best I ever watched. I saw the 87, 88, 90 playoffs but that was the best series by far.
Love Bob Cole. Canadian icon.
As a young kid ...Bob coles voice used to Amp me up for games ...all those leafs calls ..Gilmour...Clark then sundin ..still watch his compilations a couple times a year...sucks for the new generation ...
I've missed him as his voice, etc., still kicks the younger broadcasters.
We love you, Bob. RIP

Bob Cole and Harry Neal IMO are the best announcers hockey ever had.
Canada’s Vin Scully? No matter the comparison, still a legend!

"Sticks are GOING... gloves are FLYING... and boy.. we're gonna have... a bit of a donny-brook."
Our generation's Foster Hewitt.
i have never heard Bob Cole's call of Bobby Orr's famous goal before!
Bob Hockey night in Canada Cole.
Skating gingerly
The only time hockey was watchable was when Bobby was calling the game.
Bob Cole was great. The organ music in the background on this video is... Not.
a newfie no less!
Wish we could have got more Bob Cole calls in this piece...narrator kind of annoying.
Unless your a sens fan. You could hear the sorrow in his voice anytime the sens beat the leafs or habs.
the bob orr. why did u jump for no reason. your goal didnt require it.
people say it was one of the best goals ever. leaping for no reason doesnt make a goal amaing
Lol Ironically they picked a terrible voiceover for the legend of voiceovers.
Can't say Bob Cole without mentioning Don Cherry in the same sentence, nor Ron, nor Coach's Corner....it's Hockey Night in Canada !
With them and the Leafs playing well, finally free of Harold Ballard, in the early 90s watching HNIC was electrifying in a way it had never been in my life !
Marchante ot goal, oilers
1997 game 7?
@@SnojetSteve i love the call from, Bob
Eternally remembered? Only if he made it to heaven
Ephesians 2:8-10 KJV
