- Ajahn Brahmali gives a fascinating deep dive into the subject of Right View during this dhamma talk on ‘wise perspective’, recorded at the Oxford vihara to a live audience. Right View is the first factor of the Buddha’s noble eightfold path and can be described as an understanding of where we can find true happiness, as well as where suffering is to be found, and how we can distinguish between them. Ajahn Brahmali explains how Right View can be seen as the foundation for the path towards awakening, and is therefore fundamental in establishing a fruitful meditation practice. He goes on to offer advice on how we can cultivate Right View and ultimately empower our own spiritual practice. Questions from the audience are included in the second half of the video.
