    what I usually do is once the temp drops, I'll put it in the fridge for about 10-15min then take it back out for the stick blender to thicken it right up

    was about to ask you about the glycerin percentage hahah. loved this video and u got a new subscriber. i also dont like too much glycerin on my skin. i would not add it in any product tbh. do you think i could use propelyn glycol instead? or would that change anything?

    Hi Allen so happy to see you expanding your line of products. Ok will be great (I think) a gift set with a candle, soap and body butter, yum, or a sugar scrub? People love them. Also from the moment I saw the name of the fragrance I was like , I need that, them you mentioned it’s pricey so, I am out, lol. Have too many anyway. Love and peace.

    Tried you recipe the first batch I made I added vitamin e oil at the end and lemme tell you it started to curdle and I was terrified I was about to throw it out and start over but I transferred it to another bowl and started over this time I added the vitamin e in the heated oil phase came back in the house only to realize the fist batch was fine and just need to sit a lil ended up with two batches of cream 16 4oz jars would of gotten 17 if I didnt panic😂

    If I were to add active ingredients like alpha arbutin or lactic acid, do I have to remove the percentage of active ingredients from the percentage of water or how do I add those in the formula?

    • @michelleruzicka9988
      @michelleruzicka9988 Месяц назад

      You would have to look at the manufacturer website, see if the ingredient is described as water or oil soluble; take note of whether the ingredients can be added with heat vs having to wait for the cooldown phase (like with preservatives and vitamin E) then take your % out from the main ingredient of whichever phase it belongs in. Have fun experimenting!

    Allen, thanks so much for your channel! Can you please tell us what legal and labeling requirements there are for cosmetic products such as your body butter? thanks, " family " member Allen.

    • @earthglow
      @earthglow  Год назад +1

      Hi there! Labeling requirements depend on your country and if you live within the US, they can vary by state. I would recommend putting in some time to research your specifics before selling. At minimum, you’ll need a full ingredient list, net amount of product in ounces and grams, type of product, as well as state and zip code of where it’s made.

    Hi Allen! How are you ? I hope you’re doing well and feeling good. I would like to ask for a suggestion, since you are very will versed in Fragrance Oils, and have literally tried manyyyy of them personally, Do you have a favorite tobacco scent that smells more like cuban cigar?
    Thank you

    • @earthglow
      @earthglow  Год назад

      Ooh this is a good question. I honestly don’t know what a Cuban cigar smells like though!!! If you’re looking for what I’d consider an authentic pipe tobacco, Nature’s Garden Pipe Tobacco and Cashmere is as realistic as it gets. My personal favorite? Candlescience Spiced Honey and Tonka-Flaming candle has one called Tobacco Caramel that smells identical to me.

    Does your formula actually keep the butter whipped? Like when you originally whip it?

    • @earthglow
      @earthglow  8 месяцев назад

      Yes, this is an emulsification, so it does not fall out of this.
