I've been busy catching up on my other work I feel behind on while shotgunning out the 10th Anniversary special on the Grump channel. So I did something I haven't done in a long time and loaded up these episodes and watched 1 or 2 a day across the week and it was like going back in time to old Off the Shelf Grumps...all these episodes are from the past two years!

Ah. Wonderful. Both of the games I recommended for them and they didn't like are in this video.
Edit: I think the worst part is that I'm sure they would have liked the last suggestion I made, "Cocoron". Bright, colorful levels, upgradeable weapons, customizable characters, insane bosses, cheerful music... Watch Deceased Crab's playthrough to see what I mean. Or anyone's, really, but it was Deceased Crab that introduced me to all three games.

Similar experience going to Game Grumps Live, Arin seemed so unappreciative of the fans, Dan was fine but it also felt like he hated having this very canned performance, felt forced, it ruined Game Grumps for me tbh, I only stick around for Sonic games and compilations now
Which games?
Double Dragon, Bayou Billy, and Arch Rivals were hilarious. I seriously get the gaming world calling for these guys to do other games and there are so many good ones, but I miss the NES game playthroughs. I will pay money to see Arin and Danny play Legend of Zelda 2nd Quest, Mega Man 4, Double Dragon 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, and several others.
Man, Arch rivals was such an amazing one-off. the whole game was a barrel of laughs with the whole punching mechanic and the competitiveness it created between them.

It proved that if you can take enough shots, it really doesn't matter how bad your FG% is
