What's interesting about that extra spin thing. So with the Jags double curse, the power rankings were already announced at that time. And the first spin was legitimate, it just went the other way than what he usually does. It was meant to be his actual spin. With this Packers one, it WASN'T meant to be the actual spin. AND the power rankings were not announced before that spin. All this to say. As a Packers fan, we ain't losing this week. GO PACK GO
@@idawg7332 I hate that damn curse wheel, get it outta here! I feel like our Dolphins are one or two spots too high. The Eagles shouldn't be a spot below us since they did beat us (although I feel like we could have won that game). Miami is a little too high and that gets me all paranoid, like it's a curse itself.
Packers cursed by the curse wheel, and Perna saying Cowboys lucky he was gonna have them at 5 instead of 6. So the curse wheel gonna have a Trifecta this week
Honestly I watch Tom's power rankings for the rankings and I watch Perhaps for the curse wheel. This week Perhaps picks are surprisingly better! Please, keep the curse wheel though!!!
Perna, we're going to need a video at the end of the season with all of the curse wheel victims and their respective losses/injuries/etc. for that week. Looking like the birds will be taking the L this week... DAMN YOU CURSE WHEEL.
Grossi has nothing to worry. Perna cursed the Broncos to let him down by sneaking them out of the rankings ajd putting them in Pernatory after putting them on 11 .5 places the previous week.
Hm I hadn't thought about it this way, but if you're a Miami fan or a Cowboys fan who's trying to argue they're a top 3 team or Tua/Tyreek/Prescott is MVP, you basically have to give up that the other team is really good. Because otherwise you're admitting a bunch of wins and high stats against bad teams don't mean anything.
First of all, EVERY win counts. Generally, no one really knows the how the season will turn out and that at the same time, one can expect there to be a fair number of bottom feeders that will develop as the season goes on. Teams simply have to play their schedule to get the best record they can to get the best playoff position they can. And at times, the expectations on that schedule are often different... I mean, for Dallas, I'm sure most thought that the Jets, with Aaron Rodgers, would be a good team this year as they'd finally have a good QB to pair with a top-notch defense and that the LA Chargers would be good since they were last year and got Dallas's former "wunderkind." But things don't turn out that way. Rodgers got hurt and the Chargers have struggled all year and aren't expected to finish above .500, and might not even make the playoffs even if they finish well and do finish above .500. Second... awards like the MVP are a regular season award. They may not be announced until the Super Bowl, but that doesn't mean they include post-season stats. Third, even if one is looking to talk about how good certain teams are... there are points of comparison and expectations that come into every season. For example, Philadelphia, while they have the league's best record, have also struggled in EVERY game they've played... win or lose, and regardless of the quality of the opponent. And to a degree, one can give them credit for battling... but given how good they were last year, that they won free agency and won the draft by wide margins this off-season over everyone, I'm sure the expectations in Philadelphia had them doing MORE than what they've done this year. That they wouldn't have had close games with teams like the Patriots or losing to a Zach Wilson lead Jets (and with the Jets' best corners out). Eagles mans may enjoy being told when the season started that prior to the Niner game they'd be 10-1 eleven or twelve weeks in (assuming they've had their bye), but most would have expected their one loss to have come in a tight game with Dallas, KC, and Buffalo being the one team that manages to upset them... not a Jets team that pretty much lost their season four plays in.
Struggling with the Seahawks isn't necessarily a "bad thing" for Dallas. For a big part of what has often been used as a critique of the Cowboys this season is "feast or famine." They either score a massive amount of points and win by 20 or more, or they get punched in the mouth and either lose a close game (at Arizona, at Philadelphia) or get blown out of the water (at San Francisco). And by comparison, while the Eagles offense hasn't looked as good as it did last year, it's shown enough grit and consistency that it can be trusted to win in those tight games... which are going to be there (unless they're playing a healthy Niners team)... Because that's what the Eagles have done ALL season and against good teams. Dallas, KC, and Buffalo all had leads over the Eagles, and all of them lost to the Eagles. And with that... Dallas needs something to show that it can endure some of those sorts of body blows. And in a very real way... that Seahawks game does that. For while they are 6-6 and there are issues with their defense... they have an excellent offense and when Geno Smith is on... he's not the sort of QB that the Cowboys defense has largely been feeding on where they can just go through the motions and look good. You give Smith room, and he'll find a way to beat you... and he showed he could do that. And to a degree, one could also expect the Dallas defense to sleepwalk through the game. For with the drumming the Seahawks took from the Niners and with the perception that Dallas is better than Seattle, there was likely some perception on the part of the Cowboys that they can handle Seattle easily and that they needed to focus on getting ready for Philadelphia the week after. It's something that is the hallmark of a trap game where a good team plays a team they should beat and just looks past them. It's something that actually strikes the Cowboys multiple times a season. They just look past someone and pay dearly for it... and to a degree, I'd think the loss to Arizona was part of that as well. But as I said... Seattle is not as bad as their 6-6 record would indicate, and if you sleep on them... they can surprise you. And while their present stretch with two games against the Niners, coming to Dallas, and then hosting the Eagles... they actually finish with a fairly winnable schedule with games against Tennesse, Pittsburgh, and Arizona. It's something, where even if they lose to SF (again) and then Philadelphia, they can win those next three games and finish 9-8 and potentially getting a wildcard spot, depending on what happens in the NFC. And that provided a good test for Dallas prior to their game against Philadelphia. Because, since their loss to the Niners, the Cowboys have only played one team presently above .500... the Eagles. A game they had a chance to win, but came up just short in. And the best teams that Dallas has beaten are the LA Rams and Seattle, both of which are presently only at .500 and in the case of the Rams, they've climbed TOO .500 since their loss to Dallas. Their best AFC opponent has been a 5-win Chargers team and that really reinforces a lot of the perceptions on the Cowboys that they can only beat average or garbage NFL teams. Thus, the Cowboys needed the Seahawks game to wake them up, show that they could win against a team that is substantially better than the likes of the Giants and Commanders... and get them prepared for an Eagles team that is likely going to come in angry at how bad they lost to San Francisco.
Lions fan. Above the eagles is wild. I think Dallas is interesting. I think the lions go 6-4 if they play Dallas 10x. They !ight lose travelling 1700 miles and damn near 2 timezones. But above Philly is wild. I wish. I think our offense is great. Our linebackers are sneaky good and not just Anzelone. Campbell just had his coming out party. We have branch. We have hutch. Our secondary and line are bad.
it's crazy how bad performance in divisional games makes grossi think the lions don't even deserve 6, but other teams do the same thing and he goes "but it was a divisional game"
I just don't think I understand how the Dolphins can be ahead of the Eagles when the Eagles beat the Dolphins comfortably, and have also beaten several other high level teams, and have a better record than the Dolphins. While the Dolphins are known for only having beaten bad teams all season.
I'm sorry but the lions r way to high at 4 and 6. Imo. They could just as easily have lost 3 straight . They barely beat the bears turned around lost to the packers and the saints almost came back down 21. And if I'm not mistaken wasn't the game before bears extremely close too? I guess it depends if their rankings our weekly or for the yr. If it's weekly then they packers should be higher then they both got them. 9ers are clearly number 1 at this pt....gross...😂.
As a jags fan....i feel for Grossi. That damn wheel......that DAMN....WHEEEEL
lmfao thank god it only grazed us with trev. Although all those other injuries also suck
I still take the jags to win sunday tho
Why did this weeks power rankings make Perna seem like the sane one(holy God why are you liking so much people WTF)
who will ever know
Maybe we need to see the Broncos lose more 😂
It's the 8.5 I think
The spin that almost ended TG's and BP's entire friendship 😹
What's interesting about that extra spin thing. So with the Jags double curse, the power rankings were already announced at that time. All this to say. As a Packers fan, we ain't losing this week. GO PACK GO
doubt the curse wheel at your own peril, my dolphins lost one of our best defensive players because of that thing
Whatever you gotta tell yourself to cope.
how dare you doubt the wheel
Perna may not have announced his power rankings before the first spin, but he had already decided on them. Regardless, a spin is a spin.
The wheel cursed the packers as well, the wheel doesn't care if you didn't mean it; It will curse you!
Packers cursed by the curse wheel, and Perna saying Cowboys lucky he was gonna have them at 5 instead of 6. So the curse wheel gonna have a Trifecta this week
Even us Lions fans don't fully trust that defense. The wheel is mysterious, if the wheel wants it to be a spin, it is. If not... well we will see.
As a lions fan, 4-5-6 are all interchangeable, and I'm totally okay with that
@2:39 I LOVE U PERNA GO LIONS
I love the exhaustion in Tom’s voice when he asks “do you have power rankings”
I love you guys. Football wouldn't be the same without you (and that frackin Wheel).
Honestly I watch Tom's power rankings for the rankings and I watch Perhaps for the curse wheel. This week Perhaps picks are surprisingly better! Please, keep the curse wheel though!!!
Ffs perna's where it says perhaps again.
LETS GO BRONCOS
Perna, we're going to need a video at the end of the season with all of the curse wheel victims and their respective losses/injuries/etc. for that week. Looking like the birds will be taking the L this week... DAMN YOU CURSE WHEEL.
Tom put the packers ahead of the chiefs making perna look sane
Packers did beat the Chiefs
Tom earned a little insanity, as a treat
Packers are better then the cheifs 😂. Do u not watch football
Grossi has nothing to worry. Perna cursed the Broncos to let him down by sneaking them out of the rankings ajd putting them in Pernatory after putting them on 11 .5 places the previous week.

Perna hadn’t even done his rankings so that spin could have been any #10… the Steelers were at #10 way back when so maybe they were cursed??
Chiefs fan. Chiefs ranking seems kinda appropriate right now.

Packer nation is about to come for Perna
* Cough Cough* * Bullshit* Non spin. We will see tonight Perna. That thing is dangerous.(curse Wheel)
I predict that Perna will burn the curse wheel the very day he ends up cursing the Broncos, and not a moment sooner.
it's crazy how bad performance in divisional games makes grossi think the lions don't even deserve 6, but other teams do the same thing and he goes "but it was a divisional game"

Told u the lions are too high😂
Wow both of them put Texans at #7.
Betting on the Giants as we speak.
8.5 is the best one
The curse wheel demands Packer blood, if you resist, the focus will fall upon you.
I didnt like or comment on the other video to suppress the algorithm.
All in favor of Blaming Perna for last weeks L Say I i
Miami lost Jaylen Philips from that soul sucking wheel.
Detroit beats Chicago and cowboys beat eagles and Seahawks beat 49ers we are the one seed 😊😊. Lol just saying
Lol the eagles lose one game to the other best team in the lwague and they suddenly drop to 4th 5th. What an overreaction
400th like
The lions could have easily been on a 4 game loosing streak...yet...they are ahead of the packers? Who beat them....dunno bout that.
Packers record is 6-6, Lions is 9-3. I think they deserve to be ahead. They also beat the Packers at the beginning of the year
Told u lions are bad!
Fair enough-- we sucked today. Hope the packers lose tho@@packers12to80
What happened to the packers yesterday?🤔@@packers12to80
