Hahahah thank so much for the feedback :) Its my biggest issue in life... this is just me, i need to change me hahaha! Thanks so much for watching and commenting, Jon
I'm not sure (I will check with Tim), but I think that's what we have sent off to be tested, and it came back testing fine... I guess, though, they could have missed something? Thanks so much for watching and commenting :) Jon
Oh the joys of chasing the red heron, ok I’ve had this issue with my c5 it was the clutch switch that was the issue in the end. You said something about the clutch at the start of your video is the clutch pedal releasing to it too position sometimes they don’t return fully and putting foot under pedal and lifting it up the cause is early signs of dual mass failure. My ford transit does not return every time but the dual mass is knackered in it you can hear it and it’s hard to start first thing.
I had read this online about the dual mass! Might have to get a clutch kit and dual mass ordered in! never done a clutch before so that would be wicked!! Thanks so much, your the first person to comment thats actually had something similar! Thanks so much for watching and commenting :) Jon
Looks like alot of parts cannon work going on. , gi d the injectors a leak back test to see if they are faulty. Feel the turbo shaft play. Look for metal particles in the high pressure pump. Test! Dont guess
Thanks so much for your comment. I will get those tests sorted :) The turbo has been felt for play and appears to be fine. The injectors have been more crudly tested as in unplugging each one in order and seeing if the problem dissappears with each one. The high-pressure fuel pump has not been tested, though, so I will check that out for sure :) Thanks so much! Jon
@liambyrne591 Were trying to do that now as starting part 2... Do you have any idea what I can check? Literally out of ideas... I have spoken to a 25 year Citroen Master Tech now and he can't help either or offer anything new, it's not something he has seen. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Jon
This I a great shout! I might just have to give it a go :) Have part to on the unfixable berlingo coming soon :) Thanks for watching and commenting! Jon
Hi new subscribers Could I suggest you could do a smoke test it could have air leak inlet manifold of hoses. And you could check valve timing it could have slipped a tooth if cam belt is worn both of these must be worth a check mate Phil in stoke😊😊
Hi Phil, Thanks so much for watching and commenting! You are the 2nd person to mention the belt, so I think that's going to have to be done. Haha , we have done a smoke test on it... I think I must not have recorded it, but there were no obvious leak locations. I've never done a cambelt before, so it should be great content when the valves bend at the end :) hahaha thanks again for the comment and the view :) Jon
@SuperDionlee do you think change them all? The new throttle body thing fitted in the video has 3 sensors, and the new one came with the sensors. I wonder if there could be something related, though, like 1 of the wires to one of the sensors... we have invested in an oscilloscope, so maybe I need to learn how to use that, hahaha. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Jon
You not wrong! Egr valve and pipe were literally clogged! Same with injectors. I'm really hoping we can work out what's wrong with it tbh! Thanks for watching and commenting :) Jon
Hi Mate, Thanks so much for my first ever comment! hahaha I will definately check these out! Keep y fingers crossed the same issue comes up :) Thanks for watching, Jon
Watching this video, I’m suspecting your Dpf could be clogged and not allowing combustion gasses to pass freely so it won’t hurt to give it A dam good Dpf clean… Also the Eloys fluid/additive tank is probably empty.. this will be found under the van on the drivers side in front of the rear axle. It takes about 1.5 litres of pat fluid.. then reset the additive level/ with your diagnostic tool. Also give it a cambelt and water pump change ASAP…
Hi Mate, Thanks for the comment, unfortunately it doesnt have a DPF it just has a cat and also doesnt have the additivie tank either (think its like the last of the old school stuff!). If we do decide to keep it and not scrap it will definately be doing the cambelt :) Thanks again for watching and commenting! Jon
@@revivingwrecks It would be lovely to see this van restored.. Definitely give that cat a good clean out!!! For a start… The previous models did not have Eloys fluid… but the B9 model did… I’ve refilled a few on some 2010 models…. Bit of a messy syphon process… It’s just worth checking under the van if it is there. It’s a little black plastic tank.
Another cracking video. Keep them coming.
@stevenenglish2232 Thank you so much :)
Hope you get it going guys 💪
I mean this in a good way, I think you'll get more subscribers if you aren't as much hyper mate. Good post on the van

I think the ECM (Engine Control Module) could be faulty.

@revivingwrecks no drama, I'd also check timing as a matter of cause
Are you mad , check to see what the problem is

Disconnect the exhaust before the cat or remove the first O2 sensor. It sounds like your exhaust is blocked.
This I a great shout! I might just have to give it a go :) Have part to on the unfixable berlingo coming soon :) Thanks for watching and commenting! Jon
@@revivingwrecks good luck mate, don't give up.
I changed the cat out in the latest vid, didn’t make a difference annoyingly but thank you so much for the recommendation :) Jon
