The water effects really add so much to this boss.
The new beam attack looks amazing too.

Pelagia to me seems like a Colossus who's suffered. On their head there seem to be leftover teeth- so perhaps they lost the upper half of their head to other humans, such as the player. Also, their ribcage seems to be split open, revealing the weak point. I find it fascinating how much you can interpret the history of the colossi just by their design.

true and the kind of grass like area on its back is probably a sign that it had lost the upper part of its head way back before wander tried killing all the colossi
right, just looking at those teeth at its head and its lower body somewhat painfull
Those can’t be teeth though his head fully forms with his back they must be stones that controls his direction plus his head looks fine just that he has tusks on each side
Argus the second last boss has a sword made out of teeth , but they don't glow like pelagia, possible connection ? Maybe they stop glowing after falling off

Two things: swimming underwater seems to be faster than not, and you can't be hit by his lasers when underwater

Their more like gamera kaiju, they are usually really weird.
Why does everyone think that the rocks on him are teeth guys his face is fully formed you can clearly see his features for his jaw and mouth to where it’s eyes should be to it’s forehead plus his back connects to his head why would his back go through his mouth if it’s is lower jaw.

Pelagia is cool and all but her design and ai is so fucking bad. When you get up on the platform, 90% of the time she will just slide and give up after 5 minutes without getting up. i hate her

Pelegia: the helmet covers them so I don’t get water in my eyes but the horns also act like eyes so that’s your question answered
This one. Pelagia is the most annoying and monotonous fight in this game. This is Phaedra if it included water to the mix. Its gimmic is better, but getting on it and its weak point is somehow even more annoying than the stupid horse. And when you're in the water, sometimes it doesn't recognize you, and other times it snipes you from a far of area. When you do get to the weak point on its stomach, you can get about 2-3 hits in and hope they're good ones. There are more things I can say about this colossus. I hate this boss.
