the "you're shining and it shows" and "so long to sanity" lines are just glorious, and 7 years later both lines get their payoff in Thanks Nobuo and Wax Wings in P:V. Periphery is on a whole other level.

I swear every periphery song is its own individual journey such a cohesive band seem to be able to pull anything thing do off with style

The very end piano outro, the slow part, and the piano outro for the song Absolomb, are precursors to the song Lune. I highly recommend both of those, as well as all other Periphery songs!

Periphery is one of those bands that each new song you hear from them becomes your favorite. Definitely should do Satellites, really shows Spencer's range. So glad you are now hooked on them, next you need to try Leprous and Caligula's Horse (from Australia). Not as heavy but both take you on a prog journey.
You've gotta check out Scarlet. That song is an absolute banger
The Way the News Goes is one of the most underrated songs on the P3 album.. probably because it comes after Marigold.. but for me those two are a fantastic Duo on the album!

Real quick note about this music video. It was shot and edited by JP Kaukonen, who also happens to be a drummer from the band "Circle of Contempt", who are very much worth checking out. They havent released anything since 2016 I believe... but their stuff is pretty solid.
I gave them a go earlier this year. Defs now one of my fave bands

That whole album is a special one
Not their most popular song but, also off P3, big fan of Catch Fire. Super catchy song, but also because they turn into Incubus for like 30 seconds after the first chorus and I've always loved it.
