Ben, thank you for making these videos. My daughter and I have been big backpack fans since the game came out, and we also are big fans of your videos. She just pointed out something strange though... The health potion has pictures of a strawberry... but she says that the fox doesnt sell the strawberries. So, where are the strawberries? Maybe we can get Furcifer to add strawberries to the shop! EDIT: we usually watch your videos on mute with subtitles on. RUclips censors the "bad words", so please don't stress over that haha
this build slaps!! did so well with it earlier. only lost 1 game against a perfect reaper poison build that kicked my ass, but against everyone else it killed! so fun too
I accidentally discovered this same build when I got a present and got the same staff and rapier. It was brutal how fast it whittled them down, never worried about poisoners or flamer builds getting more powerful as the battle went on.
Stone gloves make the rapier both deal and scale off of 10% less hits, but get 20% more damage per hit, for a total of 108% of base damage/external scaling (0.9 x 1.2) and 97.2% self-scaling rate (0.9 x 0.9 x 1.2). This Compared, obviously, to a theoretical 20% haste boost for 120% base damage and 144% scaling, seems like a straightforward loss. However, if only look at it that way it's a net loss for quite literally every weapon in the game whether it self-scales or not (120% -> 108%). That's not really the purpose of the stone gloves: it's main use is to make your resource consumption (luck as well as stamina in the case of the Fancy Fencing Rapier) 33.3% more efficient. You are consuming 10% less resource per second on the targeted weapon, yet getting slightly more base damage and external scaling; it's a grand total of (1.2 / 0.9) = 133.3...% damage per resource, which can be huge for saving stamina and maintaining buff stacks. So it's less "regular gloves are always better" than it is a question of, whether or not you're producing enough fuel for the fire (if not, the speed loss is irrelevant), and whether or not you want to preserve luck to make the rapier miss less.
I don't know if it's to climb with in diamond, because the competition is fierce, but it worked first time I tried it since I took shop card and hit rapier. Everybody is doing manathirst for some reason.
You and your builds are the reason why I got into this game. Keep it up brother!

They must have been planned at some point, right? If the devs already have a graphic made for them

isn't it still 5 purses for the insta stone potion?
Also isn't falcon blade beter? or some bow for full ranged?
This build has been top build in the tierlist for days. Idk if Id say it is not popular....
Pretty much this, although this variant has zero survivability and zero trumpets
When was this recorded though? (Days ago)
