- During the Top Marques 2017 I have filmed this incredible 1759HP Nissan GT-R R35 Rocket Bunny by Brill Steel Motorsport. It was driving on the streets of Monaco, Monte Carlo and it did some crazy revs and acceleration on the street. When he did the revs the alarm goes of from the Shelby Pick Up! It wasn't me who said that. I know how motors work...
It may not be an "extra" battery, but it's only battery. By not installing a battery in the car they can save weight and make room for engine upgrades. Of course that means you have to get out the jump pack every time you start it, which it seems they do. Or I could be wrong, and it just has such high compression ration, and such a strong starter motor, that it needs the extra amperage to start it.

If it had 1750...there's no way I could tell...it seemed like it was struggling actually..
If you look at the chart on the car window @ 3:51, it's peak power is at 7100-7300 rpm. So at low rpm, it's probably a pig.
