Yes it can I have a dog that gets uti a lot and I found a video on youtube that says to use it in their food or water 1 tsp for dogs 35 pounds and under My dog is small 20 pounds 2 tbsp for larger dogs You don't need this extra stuff she is talking about Apple cider vinegar by itself will work It is also good for flea and tick repellent Half water and half apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle works Spray on before letting outside to repel bugs Also good for hot spots and tear stains on dogs with eye leakage Wet a cotton ball or clean cloth and clean the eye area that is wet Also great for cleaning your dogs ears Make sure no irritated skin in ears before cleaning with a rag dipped in half and half solution Also good for mange but I use coconut oil for that when needed and it works better than apple cider vinegar I believe Coconut oil gives instant relief and conditions the skin It smothers out the mange and hair grows back fast and beautiful

No where in the video(or the description for that matter) does it say to give your dog AZO, that is a human UTI medicine. It sounds like you only watched the video until you heard "over the counter meds" and just went and bought the first thing that said UTI on it at the store. Only give dogs medicine that is meant for dogs.. i thought that was common sense.
@@Crazypeepz12 but doesn't her written guide say any over the counter cranberry or urniary tract health rememdies? I mean, of course I agree it's really common sense to not give your dog human meds, but common sense isn't the most common thing anymore, and maybe the written description can be a touch misleading then?
In the video she says she uses a company called AZO. Many of you may be familiar with Azo standard which is a human UTI supplement. I believe the AZO company to which she is referring is the same company I found that manufacturers a cranberry supplement for dogs. Best to check with your veterinarian for using anything like this including vinegar

@@brandonashby5623 Yes I understand completely. AZO standard is not an antibiotic though. However it is a human supplement. And mostly it doesn't work well. Neither does cranberry in humans If they have already developed an infection.

That is not true. I give my dog’s children Tylenol and Pepto when they are not feeling well. My vet is the one who told me I could do this.
You have to pay attention and read the ingredients. Some medications safe for our Pets can be recommended like Benadryl BUT the liquid gel are TOXIC because of the ingredients added. Some ingredients are toxic to animals Xylitol is especially toxic too....a sweetener added to many children's medications. NSAIDS like Ibruprofen, Advil, Motrin etc are also dangerous and shoud NEVER be administered withoutapproval from your vet! ...always speak with your Vet and give medications they recommend and prescribed. ...be diligent and read those ingredients.
Well let's see the veterinarian has told me to give my dog the generic version of Benadryl geez that's an over-the-counter medications as well as an anti-diarrheal medication that can be purchased over the counter that was meant 4 humans

Yogurt will not help a UTI. It affects the digestive system, not the genitourinary system.
Yes it will. It's even recommended to human as well. It helps to break down and rid bacteria in your body. How to you expell bacteria....thru your urinary tract.
Yogurt helps lots of stuff including mouth sores.
