Well done Phil for installing the pipe cross It looks good and sounds awesome and look forward to seeing other companies, making some great intakes for the fl5
Good job...looks like a good bit of kit. did disconnecting the maf throw a code and a check engine light perhaps....if so maybe leave the maf connected and harness just tucked away in the bay while the install of the CAI is done.
Thanks for watching! As long as you don't turn on the ignition while it is unplugged, you should be absolutely fine. If you'd like to play it absolutely safe, you can disconnect the battery before anything else 💪💪
We have been doing some intake testing recently and have been experiencing a gain of between 8-10hp, as quoted from Pipercross. We have also been testing the prototype Eventuri Intake, which will be releasing soon, which has been throwing out some extremely impressive numbers. Video this weekend! 💪
I installed mine, but I got the check engine light on, all the lights. I did not have time to take it to get a code. Im out the country. But has anybody got the check engine lights on?
We've just finished filming a big intake testing segment which will be included in this weeks video! Make sure you tune in Saturday morning to see the results!
while you're there disconnect the rubbish (in cabin engine noise module) from the clip behind the glove box.And listen to the pure sound of your new CAI
@@lexzenis2544 definitely on my "to do" but I run with engine sound in Comfort so it's not too bad. R mode is laughable, it doesn't even sound good either.
Ours has a colour change PPF on it by ProFilm called Diamond Green. It adds a beautiful green to the car that looks amazing in the light! We've done a video on it, check it out 😁
That color is so sick.
I can’t get over how good that wrap looks…

Thanks David! We're also looking forward for more intakes coming soon 🔥 The FL5 parts are coming in fast now!
This thing is awesome literally gives it that crisp blow off with no performance hit, infact she revs better. Thanks
It looks great and sounds good.
Thanks for watching Leonardo, we're glad you like the intake!
Sounds freaking amazing
We're very glad you agree! Can't wait to get the car on the dyno for more sound clips and to see how well the intake performs! 😁
Love the colour
Thanks Roger! It's a colour change PPF from ProFilm called Diamond Green
Interesting, I will be fitting mine with the PRL HVI.
Ordered! Can’t wait to see how much better it sounds then my drop in filter
Thank you for your order! 🙌Please feel free to send us some sound clips and feedback after you've got it fitted, we'd love to know your thoughts!
@@DreamAutomotive I sure will once its in!
Nice Phil, sounds superb.
Sounds great ❤
Thanks for watching!
Another great video 👊
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 😎🙌

@@DreamAutomotive good tip...good stuff to add into the vids
Love it 😍
So do we 😍 Massive improvement compared to stock, can't wait to get it onto the dyno 💪
Outstanding.
Sounds Great
Glad you agree Mark, have you had any thoughts about intake for your FL5 yet? 👀
Awesome video 👏
Thank you 😁🔥
Love the sound of this and wanted to know if it made any hp gain but couldn’t find the video. I have it in cart just waiting to pull the trigger

Hey, cool vid as always ! Why don't you put a water cover on filter ? Its nessesery ? Cheers from Poland !

Rookie Question: Anything to fear running this in a rainy area? Always was curious about that or car washes effecting the engine
"I should have read the instructions.." 😂
Just like every other bloke when it comes to DIY.
😅 Everyone has done it at least once!
How has this held up over time?
I just got mine today . Is the filter supposed to be dry or oiled ? Mine was dripping with oil , don’t know if that’s how it suppose to come like .
It's supposed to be oiled 🙌 It's there to catch any tiny particles and assist in filtering the air.
I never received the bracket piece for the back wtf
Get in touch! We'll see what we can do.
Why haven't any Dyno results been posted?
We've just finished filming a big intake testing segment which will be included in this weeks video! Make sure you tune in Saturday morning to see the results!
I've got this on order - the car desperately needs a noisemaker and this should do it. I expect it'll lose some power IRL but that's OK with me.
The Hasport rear mount also helps with getting more real engine sound and feel into the driver’s compartment.

@@1Icehawk1Honda gives us yet another reason to customize to our taste😁
The blurb with the induction kit says a 10hp increase, might order one myself as it sounds epic.
What color is this? Looks amazing!
will this cause the engine to overheat?
The most British accent I’ve ever heard, bruv. Cheers!
Haha, brilliant. Cheers bruv 😂 Thank you for watching!
Did you ever get the dyno result?
does the black paint have a pearlescent green on it?? makes me want the black :3

@@DreamAutomotive amazing idea, thank you!
I just order this one for my hinda civic type r touring 2023 does anyone know if will fit on mine ?
This intake is made for the 2023 Honda Civic Type R 💪
🔥
That sound 🤤🤤🤤
We're glad you like it Vince! 😍
will it fit fk8?
Unfortunately not, although there are many other FK8 Intake options, see them here: www.civictyperparts.com/collections/fk8-intakes
@@DreamAutomotive thank you!
0:53 nope 😂
Why ?
how much
Thanks for watching Charlie! This induction kit costs £325.00 GBP and is available for purchase on our website via the link in the video description 😎
Thanks for the cool video, but foam is the worst filtration media for your car.
We'll definitely be looking at other intakes in the future, but there's no denying that the Pipercross sounds epic!! Thanks for watching
That black looks like it had a bunch of green in it from the light.
It does! Our car has a colour change PPF on it that gives it a beautiful green colour in the light 🙌
