Wow! Thank you so much! 🙏🙂 Thanks for the awesome synths and demos too! I just messing with my Model D, and it is so much fun! The next “one synth challenge” will feature it in a minimalist dub techno style. Then K2, Pro1 and so on... If you make them, I wanna play them! 😄
I just picked up a Crave and have been goofing around with it. I saw your video and was wowed by what you put together! Excellent work! It’s inspired me to figure this thing out. Thanks so much for diagramming your work and posting. Well done!!!
Haha 😂 Cheers, mate!🙏😎 I am thinking of doing a CRAVE + Neutron self-generative thing. Maybe a CPU light Colin Benders dirty techno with VCV2. I'd only use it for drums and midi for the 2 synths to avoid system meltdown! 😄 Or just jump in the next one straight and get a Model D? 🤔🤣
Mixing different technologies is a good approach. It’s fairly common to see videos sticking to “one piece of gear/software”. I have not seen as many videos with folks using VCV to sequence external gear either, which is surprising. This has been my goto for years since my ancient cpu can’t handle much VCV. Keep doing you though, we love it! 😎
Thanks! I know that the bass is relentless. Just a little gap makes wonders. I've got this from Calyx & Teebee - Anatomy album. I must include this in all of my arrangements. 😂
Thank you for the interesting video! : ) I want to get my first Behringer synth. Should I get the Crave first? And after that, which one would you recommend to get second? Thanks!
Thank you, Johan! 🙂 Sorry about that, I didn’t notice that in headphones. I’ve noticed it listening back on my soundbar and had to adjust it 3 times. Sounds like it was not enough. 😅 Lesson learned, never work on the same tune and mix it in 3 days! Ear fatigue will set in. Also, I have to get a pair of studio monitors to check my mix more often. 🙂 Thanks for the feedback, it means a lot! Improvement will follow! 👏👍😎
Not only the music is mesmerizing, I love the format in which you deliver it with informal notes based on your experience, the entire video screams "I love what I do", keep up with this fantastic job king. If I may ask a personal opinion, for drums(kick, snares, ecc..) would you use a different device or this Synth makes it comfortable?
Thank you so much, Enrico! I would normally use drum machines. However, in this format, I decided to make everything with one synth. Some synths are better for drums than others, but that's the challenge. 😀
Hi Lee! Thanks! 🙏 I would be honoured. Please feel free to use the patches in any of your projects! Also, everything in the Grasshopper Project playlist is totally free. Public Domain, royalty free. You can download it for free from my patreon page. 👍🙂
Thank you! 🙂 Much appreciated! 🙏 I did this with my old iMac running Big Sur. Logic Pro X was the DAW. Of course, you can do this with any computer and OS, even on a phone or tablet, as long as you have 1 audio input. The rest is just arrangement, EQ, Reverb, Delay... 👍

Wow, nice work. I like these short breaks like at 1:04-1:06 in the sequence. :)

Cheers! 😀 The Crave is a good idea, indeed! I love my Neutron. They play well together. Get both! 😃
Top good !
Cheers! 🙏🙂
Really nice sounds! Just one tiny thing on my wishlist - to bring down the bass frequencies a bit with EQ because it rumbles alot in headphones.

Just subbed. This video renewed my interest in my neglected Crave. Thank you. Which OS is on your iMac?
